  1. A couple of things. By what measure does America have "best health care in the world" for those of us that can pay for it? My reading comprehension is fine. You might want to proof read your posts.
  2. Chuck Howley won MVP in SB V even though the Cowboys lost.
  3. The Bills gained more yards than the Giants in SB XXV.
  4. The ones I talk to say just put Hillary in. No election needed.
  5. This is the typical black and white thinking that is SO prevalent on TBD and elsewhere. Other countries seem to be able to provide good quality care for all. People I've talked to in England and Canada tell me that's what they have. Of course, one can find horror stories anywhere and I have no doubt they are true. I have yet to hear opponents to my plan offer a viable alternative. Just stone tossing which I expected anyway. Except meathead that is.
  6. Sounds to me like we're both right. New clinics were opened and people hired. Patients were cared for. And some doctors left for greener pastures. I guess the 80,000 newly insured should just suck on it so those half a dozen neurosurgeons can keep thier cushy salaries.
  7. Here's an AP story that says pretty much the same thing about new clinics being opened and people hired as a result of more people with insurance. http://www.denverpost.com/2017/03/13/denver-health-other-hospitals-worry-about-newly-uninsured/
  8. What a ridiculous stereotypical statement. Who do you think invented the computer, PC, and internet? People you classify as old and should stay away from computers. Anyone who's worked in the computer field or even an office knows the score. There are computer illiterate people of ALL ages.
  9. I saw an editorial in the paper yesterday that seemed to indicate an increase in the number of people in an area getting health insurance results in hospitals adding on to meet the demand. http://www.seattletimes.com/opinion/killing-not-only-obamacare-but-the-jobs-it-has-crated/
  10. OK. I'll agree to disagree. My opinion is that as I stated several times that both actors acted recklessly and stupidly. The result was many losers. Trayvon, George, George's wife, Trayvon's parents etc. I just hate to see another young man lose his life and his parents thier son over something so idiotic (although perfectly legal). Since one of the actors was a minor and the other an adult with a gun, I just gotta think the adult should know better. But they both acted like children. George should have listened to the 911 operator (even though he had no legal reason saying he had to) and Trayvon should have listened to Precious. It's another sad tragedy IMHO.
  11. It's a reload, not a rebuild. 19-0!!
  12. Starting QB for the Bills.
  13. What makes you think I don't care about other disturbing cases? This one bothers me because 2 parents had to experience THE WORST thing that can ever happen needlessly. When I saw others on here mock the victim, it pisses me off. Hopefully no one else no here has to experience the pain of having your child die. Perhaps they would think differently if they did?
  14. Tucker would do well here because he has perfected a common TBD tactic of taking one small point out of a much bigger argument ( often out of context ) and beating them over the head with it.
  15. They think we're stupid and can't remember anything that happened yesterday. Little do they know we have this thing called the internet where everything they've ever said or done is recorded.
  16. Yeah, because that's his job. He doesn't need any help.
  17. That's the mess we currently have right now. Thanks for helping me make my point which was letting these people with "experience in the business" help draft the plan has directly resulted in what we have now (a mess).
  18. Just because it happened "near" his truck does not necessarily mean he WASN'T following. This map indicates he did get out of his truck and followed based on the 911 call. I recall similar testimony from the trial. https://bcclist.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/trayvon-martin-george-zimmerman-map-911-call-timing-v-2.jpg
  19. Actually, all those people with "experience in the business" helped get us in the mess we currently have. Do you think when they were "helping" that they were benevolent do gooders trying to help the American people get better health insurance /care? Or do you think them and thier generous lobbying dollars perhaps queered things thier way? I'm going with the latter. Not allowing negotiation on drug prices seems to indicate that among others.
  20. Ideally we could start over and not let the insurance and pharmacuetical companies in to help like they did last time. I knew once they did that we were toast. But that ain't gonna happen.
  21. Oh really? That's not what George said. Dispatcher:Are you following him? Zimmerman: Yeah Dispatcher: OK, we don't need you to do that. http://www.documentc...-Zimmerman.html There is talk of the address but never was go look for an address mentioned. It was only when he was in CYA mode did "look for an address" business come in.
  22. Ok, he was trying to help the police apprehend TM. Better? Thats why he was following. He told the 911 operator to have the police call his cell phone because he wasn't gonna sit tight in his truck and let the police do thier job. Thank you. I've been trying to point this out several times. That's what this comes down to. 2 dumbasses IMHO.
