  1. I'm with ya totally JB. But always been and probably always will be that he grass is greener on the other side if the fence.
  2. I base it on having read articles several times that Jim Mora Jr. thinks Rosen needs to straighten up or he'll be the next Johnny Football. I suspect he knows a lot more about him than we do.
  3. Kaepernick. The other 2 are much older and retired for good reason.
  4. How in the the heck is Wentz better? 16 TDs 14 Ints and 14 fumbles. Younger and drafted higher, OK, but not better. At least not at this point. Rest of 'em I agree with. Wentz is a Captain Checkdown.
  5. In Seattle he is very respected as well. My dog groomer just could NOT understand how the Bills would even consider dumping him. He thinks the Bills and a team to watch on the way up. When walking dog yesterday my neighbor asked me about the draft. Then he told me really likes Hotrod and thinks the Bills are on the way up. I also think it's crazy the way TBDers trash him on a regular basis. I just think we've been losing for so long that some fans don't even know what trying to win means or why a team would want to do it. Go BILLS !! GO Hotrod !!
  6. What's the matter with Jim Mora Jr.? I've wanted the Bills to hire him a few times.
  7. How long do you let him "try" before you pull the plug? He threw 17 last year. That's a lot. Since it's nearing the end of May the 4th be with you day, I'll quote one if the characters. Don't try, do. We don't need a QB that tries. Heck, nobody tries harder than EJ and Fitz. I want a QB that can do and I think we have one.
  8. Come on man. Congress doesn't even pencil this stuff out before they vote on it. So what if its 10% or 15%? You won't be paying insurance premiums. No way your tax would be more than what you and your company are paying now. Companies won't have to provide health insurance anymore. ZERO government regulations on that anymore. It would make it easier and cheaper for companies to hire people. I thought that part of it would have been a desirable outcome on PPP. I'll decide when it's proper for me to get quiet thank you very much. Sounded more like false equivilancy.
  9. Ok, good point. But when did I say anything about subsidizing real estate? Gheez More doctors will be created because there's more money to pay them and more customers to pay them said money, not by voodoo. It won't happen overnight, but thanks to America's free enterprise system and entrepreneurial spirit it would IMHO. Sounds like the argument against is mainly we don't have capacity. So the answer is just to not treat everyone I guess. It does, but it's not what I said.
  10. Ok, maybe. But we have a private insurance model now, and we have plenty of doctors and medical schools are full. I would not say that doctor compensation may go down some. Maybe it will. I'm not convinced it would. But not all doctors are in it for the money anyway. I have a nephew in medical schools that's not in it for the money. He wants to help people. A lot of people become doctors for this reason and won't change thier mind if they make less.
  11. It might be hard to find a "franchise QB" with the 32nd pick in the draft.
  12. I'm not the Congressional budget office. I'm just a scmuck on the sidelines thinking there's got to be a better way. Of course you would Know the tax liability ahead of time. Can you say equivically that 2% wouldn't do it? Please show your math. What's your plan? My plan is private insurance, NOT Medicare for all. what are these doctors going to do if they don't take the insurance everyone has? There would be no more bearacracy than we have now. See a patient, file a claim to PRIVATE insurance company.
  13. Baloney my a$$ If suddenly everyone has INSURANCE, then the have money (INSURANCE payment to CARE providers) to pay for CARE. If there are not enough doctor/clinics etc. and money is there (INSURANCE) not being collected, Some smart enterprising free market entrepreneur will build a clinic and hire doctors to fill the need (CARE).
  14. I don't know about that. If there were more people with insurance that could pay for care, don't for a second think that there won't be new doctors and clinics to meet the demand. Simple case of supply and demand.
  15. Not sure if companies would like it. Those future days off become a liability. Bad for tax purposes. Especially if it's like any job I've ever had where you got "comp time". Of course other prorities came up and you could never use it.
  16. I haven't penciled it out. But it should cost less than what we got. The economies of scale and having everyone in would bring down the cost. And negotiating for drug prices would save a ton. We're paying for everyone as it is. Medicaid, subsidies, Medicare, poor people going to emergency room. We're just paying a much higher price than we should be.
  17. I wouldn't want to draft Rosen. He's good, but he's a head case. https://www.si.com/college-football/2016/05/23/ucla-jim-mora-josh-rosen-johnny-manziel-donald-trump-hat
  18. You didn't ask me,but I have a plan. The feds will buy every person in America a basic health care plan. Covers emergency room, doctors visits, medications etc. To pay for it we will raise everyone's taxes by 2% or whatever. Then, EVERYONE is covered and EVERYONE buys in, even the young healthy 10 foot tall bullet proof types. The benefits would be: 1 It would the largest pool. 2 No more need for high risk pools etc. 3 No more regulations on companies to supply coverage to employees. 4 no more forcing people to buy a product. (You don't have the option if the government buys a new aircraft carrier, you just get it as you would insurance in my plan). 5. Everyone is covered. 6. A requirement would be we could negotiate on drug prices like other countries do. 7. A lot easier/cheaper to manage. 8. Economies of scale. 9. Insurance not tied to employment. If you want more extensive coverage, you can buy it.
  19. and/or your starter slips on a mat and then 2PS games later he gets a concussion and is done. Then your rookie second stringer gets a sore knee and you have to bring it boat people to try out at QB in the last pre season game. I agree. Keep all 5 through PS in case someone gets injured.
  20. I agree, sort of. The D played a big role in us missing the playoffs (again). But if Hotrod had thown for 10 more yards, we would have been 9-6 heading into week 17. Against Hawks we had 1st and goal FOR THE WIN. He couldn't get it done. Against Fish we got to red zone twice and couldn't get in FOR THE WIN. On the play before Dan missed the FG, he had Goodwin wide open in EZ and missed him. We also had a chance late vs his old team. He needs to improve in situations like that. ALL the rest I'm good with.
  21. I disagree. He's just getting warmed up. Or he throws too many picks. He threw a lot in college. And they don't even play defense in college.
  22. People with pre existing conditions need insurance so when the pharmaceutical companies jack up the prices of thier medication in the name of the almighty dollar, they can still afford to stay alive. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/30/health/drugmakers-lawsuit-insulin-drugs.html?_r=0 This is the kind of stuff that makes our health care system so expensive. But it can never be fixed because congress is in the pockets of pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and all the middle men in between. Insurance is only 1 small part.
  23. My son got a pre existing conditions when he was 4 years old. That said, I also have a pre existing condition and have had insurance through various employers for 32 years and have never been turned down and my pre existing condition has been fully covered.
