  1. She's jockeying for a pardon and will probably get one. Probably after the mid terms so it can't be used by Democrats in the mid terms. If not then, then definitely one of those midnight on the last day pardons. Of course all dependent on her lying for "TRUMP" which she will do cuz she's a scam bag. Victims be damned. Has there been any reasonable explanation as to why she was moved to a minimum security prison the day after talking to Trump's private attorney yet?
  2. Don't feel bad. I did exactly the same tonight while eating dinner. Had been trying to remember his name all day and then it popped out, Travis Henry. I just hope he doesn't rip off another 87 yard TD on our "run defense".
  3. I'd like to see us trade for Mitchell Tinsley with Cincinnati. Get him before they cut him and someone else signs him. one of those deals.
  4. WE should trade for Thielen.
  5. This is great! Will be interesting to see what happens when they leave in 3 weeks. I suspect criminal are laying low for a month and when the troops leave they will get back to bidness. We'll see.
  6. I have eaten at Cracker Barrel a few times. It's been a while since they don't habe them in my state. I wonder of they're gonna keep the nick nack stores in there. Maybe more progressive nick nacks? The fact that David Hogg doesn't like it Kindof blows a hole in the whole it's only old wing nuts that are against the new look theory.
  7. I'm no fan of President Biden. But this was funny. 2 things can be true. I never said no other politician does similar things and even mentioned the the classic one of politicians putting on an apron and a chef hat to hand out pancakes every 4 years in February in Iowa. Glad you agree with me on the absurdity of this kind of behaviour. But you gotta admit,it was funny.
  8. Of course air travel is a big polluter. But, if I forego my trip to visit my Mom, the airplane is still going. I haven't saved squat. Electric cars are cool I guess, but you have to drive one 80,000 miles before you are polluting less than a gasoline car. Most of the people driving them around have bucks so are probably gonna trade it in on the new latest greatest one before then. I have a dog and I'm not having put to sleep to save the planet. I have come to the conclusion lately that recycling and light bulbs etc is really not helping much if any. Not when you got other countries not caring and polluting out the ying yang. Add in the data centers to run crypto and AI (don't get me started). Musk is polluting the heck out of Memphis running his data center. And then you got all the rich and famous people flying around in private jets. President Trump flying that 4 engine behemoth back and forth to Florida every weekend. I said the same about President Biden going back and forth to Delaware and Jill Biden flying from Europe to the USA and back to attend Hunter's hearing. I'll continue to recycle etc but it's spitting in the wind probably. At my house on trash day we have 3 huge diesel powered trucks come by. One for trash. One for recycling and one for yard waste. How efficient can that be? I don't think we can conserve our way out of this. We need to figure out how to take the carbon out of the air IMHO or take mitigation efforts like building bigger sea walls etc.
  9. This whole paint the fence black thing has kept me laughing for 2 days so far. Trump says it will be hotter and harder go climb if painted black as opposed to the Dark brown it is now. I can't imagine it could make that much difference. Dark brown doesn't absorb much more light than black. If there's someone that has proof it's a noticeable difference I'll hear it. But my favorite part exemplifies the circus like shenanigans of this administration. President Trump thinks this up this really good ida and decides to do it. So instead of just calling the people in Texas and telling them to paint it they have to put on a big show. Send Christi Norm and her entrouge there. Set up a podium. She makes a 15 minute speech mostly smooching up on President Trump's rear end and then picks up a roller and starts painting. 😆 This is almost as great a photo as Presidential candidate dishing out pancakes in Iowa. What a circus. How much is this going to cost?
  10. And do you think Pooty Poot would actually agree to this? If so, why? I'd have to see it to believe that. What's one of his biggest hang ups to peace now? Ukraine joining NATO. How would what you propose be different and agreeable to him? He holds the cards and has veto power on any deal.
  11. No. The drought era Bills rarely got blown out. The only one I can remember is one year we were 4-3 or something and thought we might have a chance to be decent. Then we played the Cheats on MNF and got totally trounced.
  12. This all sounds great and I hope it works. Let me know when the ink is dry
  13. Dude, you sound a little touchy. You stand on a street corner shouting your belief and someone tosses an insult at your friend who has a life. And you're still POed about it 3 days later? Follow your friends advice that has a life and drop it. Comes with the territory if you're protesting. At the protests I go to we've had a few horn honkers and tire squealers and we laugh it off. It's funny. To each his own, but you do you.
  14. So you exercised your right to free speech by chanting "this is what democracy looks like" and the gentleman in the pickup exercised his by revving his engine. Now had he thrown a monkey wrench or a sandwich or something else out his window at you that would be different. But he didn't so no biggee I would think. As far as your link goes, my favorite was the cartoon of Christi Norm reading Old Yeller.
  15. Turning point to what? President Trump and Europe agreed and confirmed the day before the line was no negotiations without a cease fire. Trump said if Pooty Poot didn't agree to it he would put sanctions on countries buying oil from Russia and other "grave consequences". So the "great negotiator" comes out of the meeting with none of that and instead says, yeah, do what he wants.
  16. Yeah, let's talk paid protesters.
  17. This ridiculous Republican party line talking point saying if you don't support what President Trump is doing in DC then that means you like crime is as dumb as saying if you don't get a COVID vaccine you want to kill Grandma.
  18. LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN Said the paid protesters that arrived on a bus.
  19. In regards to the first, President Trump himself has said he hasn't been able to stop Pooty Poot from doing anything. He said the talks to Pooty Poot on the phone and thinks he has things worked out. Then he hangs up and Melina tells him Russia is dropping bombs. What exactly is President Trump.stopping him from doing?
  20. He reminds me of JP Losman bouncing passes into RBs in the flat.
  21. Ours was smaller too since it was last minute. I almost didn't go because of that. Didn't see any of what you did. Ours are peaceful. Of course I was concentrating more on rocking out and making sure butts were shaking. Only myself and 2 other drummers but it was all good. Afterwards a lady bought us lunch. Win. Win. So much winning.
  22. Good information. Thanks. It is a tough nut to crack and I don't envy you. I don't know, there are other options besides working in an office which with even more technology and AI etc could be a dead end.. Maybe one could learn a trade that computers can't do. There are aprrecticeships available for such jobs that pay a living wage. Work your way up. https://www.carpenterstraininginstitute.org/apprenticeship-programs/ The same rule applies to this generation that did for past generations. Lean how to do something people want to pay you money to do. One has to figure out what that is and attain it. Easier said than done I know but I think you can do it.
  23. First off no one is "forced" to take out an $80,000 loan.Second off, what kind of job did their dad get with an apprenticeship that now requires an $80,000 degree. Please be specific. I understand I'm guessing your generation has unique challenges in a rapidly changing world. But each generation feels their parents generation left them a tub of crap and most of them are right. People born in 1915's parents left them the great depression and WW II and later Korea. The hated Baby Boomers parents left them the draft and Viet Nam. People born in 1840s parents left them the civil war. I kind of feel there is a bit of grass is greener thing going on here assuming that previous generations had it easy and now you are the first generation to have it hard.
  24. And John McLaughlin was in the studio with Miles that day.
