Understood. Do think they are similar in tactics at all? -

I think I may have been one of the first to say this. Here is my explanation. When the Tea Party people got into congress, they didn't want to compromise with anybody on anything. They had their mantra and ran hard at it causing scuffles with the entrenched Rs. Who can forget John Boehner vs Paul Ryan? Now we're seeing a very similar thing with the 4 "women of color" freshman representatives. They won't even compromise with Nancy Pelosi. They have their mantra of equality and environment. Yes, their ideology is different. Diametrically opposed actually. But their strategies are very similar IMHO. Dana Bash agrees with me for what that's worth. https://www.mediaite.com/politics/cnns-dana-bash-compares-pelosi-aoc-feud-to-tea-party-split-in-gop-led-house/ -

The 4 "women of color" D freshman are the D's version of the Tea Party. -
FU on the Normandy thing. You have a bad day on Normandy you end up dead. You have a bad day protesting you might get accidently hit by a milk shake.

I love it. He's right. Big money in politics runs everything. Buying politicians is how it's done. Money talks and BS walks. It's been that way forever. Even America's favorite tech companies are all over it. https://dailycaller.com/2018/04/09/facebook-government-lobbying/ How are you going to change that Tom? <crickets> -

How exactly are they the same then? I have pointed out how they are not and all you can come up with is your best Fred Astaire impersonation?

Uh, no. Ross was nothing like Trump. Can you find one instance where he insulted someone or made a funny nickname for them? What Entertainment Hollywood type tape came out about Ross? He had well thought out plans with numbers and stuff to back it up. What does Trump have to compare? "It's just dumb everybody knows that." Yeah, he was a little nutty, but nowhere near Trump flaming narcissist school yard bully nutty. Different kind of nutty altogether. And what got us Clinton was not Ross, it was all the people that voted for Clinton.
-
Yeah, you really do.

When I was a college student in the Information System Club in the early 80s we went on a tour of his EDS facility in Dallas. It was amazing. I voted for Ross twice for prez. The heck with the Clinton's, Ross was trying to win and we'd all be a lot better off if he did.

Might not be a bad idea idea to have someone else in the pipeline in case Wonder Boy doesn't work out. Wouldn't want to be caught with our pants down (again). Hopefully this UB kid can be that guy.

kind of hard to argue with this after one injury riddled campaign. Hopefully Wonder Boy and Coach McDermott and the guys can step it up this year.

Who do you think lives in Iowa? It's 98% white. Any minorities would have to be bused in. -

The biggest problem with something like this is that the rich people with congress persons in their pocket can buy a nice loop hole so they and their cronies don't have to pay it letting the tax burden fall where it always does, the little guy. Same goes for the 70% marginal tax rate. How many people do you really think actually paid 70% in the 1960s. They had loop holes then too. -
of course it was planned. M A R K E T I N G It's Nike 's bidndess model. It's what they do. Why announce that your company designed a racist tennis shoe and then was saved by the bell by a Nike Employee? You 'd think this is something you'd want to keep under your hat, that your company is so clueless they designed and almost sold a tennis shoe with the KKK emblem on it. Yet, it's a money maker. Go figure.

So I take it when Obama was president illegal aliens were not afraid to report crimes to the police? When the guy that deported 2,5000,000 illegal aliens was in office? The guy that started up and executed the program where illegal aliens committing crimes were held until ICE got there to deport them? They guy that flew ICE deportation flights out of Boeing Field from 2014 til 2016? Makes sense. -
Trump foreign policy

Not nasty enough. Kimberly is much nastier and Trumpinan She is so Trumpian she dates Trumps. It would a great classic Trump troll move. Could you imagine her getting into an exchange with Jim Acosta? It would drive them nuts. That would be fun. -

I am still holding out hope that Kimberly Guilfoyle will be his press secretary one day.
