Josh Allen: Film Review From a Cynical Man
reddogblitz replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After watching Josh last year I think he has the leadership, desire and determination to be a great QB. Still not sure he can be an accurate enough passer to pull it off. As Troy said on draft night, accuracy can't be taught (except in rare examples). Either you are or you aren't. Troy said it. I also read it in a book last night called "The Perfect Pass" which is about Hal Mumme and how he designed and coached the Air Raid offense. https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Pass-American-Reinvention-Football/dp/1501116207?SubscriptionId=AKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q&tag=ad-backfill-amzn-no-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=1501116207 In it he says this about inaccurate QBs. This is my concern with Josh. This is what puts me in the "hopeful" category as opposed to the "believe" category. -

Really. Was it "the Left" that called Marco Rubio "Little Marco" or Elizabeth Warren "Pocohantes" for example? "the Left" aren't saints either. I never said they were. Doesn't excuse Donald's behavior however. He's a flaming narcissist displaying classic narcissistic behavior and always has. "the Left" had nothing to do with it. He is what he is. -

Again, not sure what "the Left" has to do with Donald's tone or messaging style. -

I'm not sure what this has to do with what I was talking about. I said nothing of movie censorship etc. And as an American citizen that WILL stay informed regardless of who the Prez is, I really DON'T have a choice unless I choose to be uninformed. Is that what you are suggesting? That I bury my head in the sand if I don't like what the President of the United States says? Really? I wonder what Thomas Jefferson would think of your idea. -

Good point. I pretty much have up on all this as being a fair process where the people select their leaders and said leaders do what's best for the American people a while back. But now it's just gross childish school yard lowest common denominator name calling nonsense even if the other guys/girls do it too IMHO. But it is where we are. -

Isn't there more to being the President of the United States of America than getting re elected? If not, then he's just like the rest of 'em. Drain the swamp? Same as the old swamp. -
Trump foreign policy

please explain our success with "limited action"? Serious question. When has it ever worked? How do we measure success in "limited action"? -

Yeah, I agree, but then he wouldn't be Trump. He'd be Ross Perot. -

I thought the reason we had drones was because they didn't risk American lives and if one got shot down, so what. Starting a war over a flying computer would be really dumb. Can't yall see they're trying to get us to jump in? Why help them? Don't give them what they want. Again, no Americans were killed. I hope Trump is smarter than this. Have they found those WMDs yet? Is communism still spreading over the far east? -

He has. I get a good laugh out of the Ds and media falling for it every time. It's sooooo obvious. I think Nancy (that's what Donald calls her) has figured it out and has done some masterful trolling herself at times which Trump has himself fallen for. It's funny, but also sad. -

I'm just hoping Trump doesn't make a bigger mistake. Which is exactly what Iran, the news media, and defense contractors are hoping for (just like last time.) This whole thing is another Spanish American War/Gulf of Tonkin/WMDs. Trump sez and had said all along he doesn't want any stupid wars. I hope he sticks to it. REMEMBER the MAINE DOMINO THEORY/GULF OF TONKIN WMDs Come on people. Don't fall for it again. -

Presidential behavior wise which is what I was referring to? Absolutely. This is school yard bully nonsense. And the really sad part is this is setting the bar for presidential behavior. I suspect the next president whoever it is, might very well do the same. This is what the social media and twitterization of our society has resulted in (among other things) IMHO. I see no reason to think it will get better anytime soon regardless of who the prez is going forward. -

Or maybe that was why he was able to keep it so close. Good point. Hard to argue with that. But at least Bush supported something they like. War. Something they can all agree on. How about 1 for Bush and 1a for Trump? -

Mystery Science Theater 2019. This is a new low. But if the Ds lose to Donald twice in a row they should disband, put on sackcloth and ashes, and just go away. Maybe bring back the Whigs or something. Anything. -
Trump Wants To Regulate Google
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think we're looking at this totally backwards. The tech giants cannot filter out the "bad stuff" whatever that is. To expect them too and rust them too is foolhardy IMHO. The way they are doing looks like politically motivated corporate censorship. A better play would be open it up and you can do whatever you want. Enact some laws of decency such as no videos of people getting killed etc. Then offer a $1000 reward to anyone who finds anything like this out there. Then take it down and fine the Original Poster $100 or whatever. Would Cause people to think and the "bad stuff" would be identified and taken down quickly. -
