Cheap Cans of Beer Ranked Guess who is #1?
JM57 replied to plenzmd1's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You may want to leave the next day completely open if you plan on drinking even 1/4 of that 12er. Send your SO and or family away. The Genny Screamer gas is ungodly. Even the dog will look at you in shame. -
Do people actually think Rex-->Wrecks is clever? On topic, Danny Crossman
-
Wouldn't mind Decker, especially since he just signed on to train with LeCharles Bentley
-
The savings are negligible and his contract is up after 2016. Let him walk at that point if he doesn't take a major developmental step
-
My hope for NT is using some of the savings from cutting Mario to pay Damon Harrison. I really like Buckner as Mario's replacement but realize he may not make it to the low teens.

If Chad Kelly declares... (Update - returning to Ole Miss)

WellDressed obviously hasn't watched any college football since last January. Dak Prescott is vomit. -

Buffalo would be the worst thing for him, just a complete pressure cooker where he's constantly compared to his HOF uncle. -
Is Mario playing tomorrow or sitting?
JM57 replied to TAinLack.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He hasn't played since Kansas City. Give the snaps to Max Valles. -
That's a direct result of having a 4-3 WLB who is better in coverage than against the run playing MLB. The run D would have been awful under Schwartz too if Alonso was the MLB. I specifically remember Pettine mentioning they wanted to play Alonso at WLB but couldn't because they had no one else to play MLB.

Are you still bitter over fredex after seeing carlos
JM57 replied to seadog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not reading the rest of the thread before this reply. Here we go, it's very simple. Karlos Williams beat him out for the the #2 role behind McCoy. Just about every NFL team expects to get Special Teams value out of their #3 RB, whether that be as a returner or a gunner. Fred Jackson did not play special teams. Boobie Dixon, while not as good at RB, does play special teams, and does so at a decent level. Therefore, he had more value to the team. Fred may not have even dressed if they kept him, again going back to not playing special teams. -
Twitter rumors about Bills new structure, fate of Rex/Whaley

Didn't it just come out in the last few weeks Polian was going to give Whaley the ax if Pegula hired him last off-season? -

And from 2009-11 he let his kid ruin...not just run, ruin...the roster. Which is exactly what he wanted to do in Buffalo if he got the "czar" role. Look at that 2011 Colts roster. Look at their 2009, 2010 and 2011 drafts. Good lord, keep Chris Polian away from this franchise -
Yep, see my edit. Sorry I type a little slower on my phone Apparently the only scenario for Atlanta to get in involves them getting the #5 seed. It outlandish, and I can't confirm it would actually be true. It would require a 3-way the at 9-7 between Atlanta, Minnesota and Seattle. Because they didn't all play each other, head to head games wouldn't matter. Next tiebreaker is conference record. All would be 6-6 in this scenario. Next up is common games, minimum of 4, which I don't see being applicable considering the different divisions and where they finished within those divisions last season. That takes it to strength of victory, which is where it gets goofy. According to what's out there, Atlanta would also need 3 of these 4 teams to win: SF, TEN, DEN, CAR. I don't know why. Just trying to make sense of it.
-
Denver and Cincinnati at 12-4 would result in a first round bye for Denver by virtue of the head to head win. The Bengals have Baltimore next weekend, for anyone wondering. Looking at the 3 team tiebreakers, it does appear that Denver still could get home field advantage if they finished tied at 12-4 with both NE and CIN. Denver would have the head to head sweep tiebreaker.
-
You're looking at the tie within a division list. Scroll down a bit more: TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken. 1) If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker. 2) If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps. Two Clubs Head-to-head, if applicable. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. Strength of victory. Strength of schedule. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. Best net points in conference games. Best net points in all games. Best net touchdowns in all games. Coin toss.

It's a fantasy world to want to have a QB capable of putting the team on his back in an era when offense means more and defense means less than ever before? Ok. I'm a Tyrod fan, I like a lot of what he brings to the table, but I would much rather have a legitimate franchise QB over him.

Kenny Albert and Moose Johnston may be my favorite team Fox has right now. I can't stand Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. -
Defensive Playbook Too Complicated = Crap!
JM57 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure Jim Schwartz would have gladly handed over his whole playbook in the way out the door so the franchise could continue to benefit from it. I'm not a fan of how Rex's D has performed and I'm of the mind that may be after 15 years of film, its just become very beatable. But Schwartz absolutely wasn't going to just leave his scheme behind for the team to continue using. -
An honest question for season ticket holders. ..

2015 first time holder here, please, if you're considering giving yours up, by all means, go ahead. I would love to take a big ride up the seniority lost prior to relocation day. I have no idea what my number is currently, but I bought mine last December or January, so it can't be much higher than maybe 48-50,000 -
Best 5, not in any order McCoy, Gilmore, Watkins, Hughes, Dareus Worst 5, same IK, Cyrus, Boobie, Duke, Butler I would agree about Kouandijo, but with the cap space as tight as it is, I'm not sure they can justify paying him almost $1 million to not be on the roster when it costs just slightly more than that to keep him on the 53 and just be in inactive for 16 games. Per Spotrac, they're looking at a $1.132 mil cap hit to keep him, but $908,662 dead money to cut him. Negligible savings. I think he and EJ ($2.827 mil on the roster, same in dead money) are in the same boat, they'll be on the team on 2016 only because its not fiscally reasonable to cut them.

Mods, this board has a serious troll problem.
-
Yeah, and the Chiefs backups were better than the Bills were, which takes me right back to...Whaley has failed to assemble quality depth.
-
I don't expect the backups to be the same caliber player as the starter, but they can be serviceable players. The Bills lack even serviceable depth at a lot of positions. PS, fresh wound but the Chiefs would like to talk about this "poor play with backups" thing. You know, the team with their 3rd string RB running for 115 yards today behind a 2nd team interior line, with 99% of those yards coming after the first injury along their OL
