  1. At first I was unhappy with the trade but as I settled in I'm willing to let it play out. I kind of forgot Lehner is only 23/24. He's certainly got loads of potential. I'm very hopeful that Irbe wants to remain on Bylsma's staff. This kid has a lot of talent to work with and Irbe was basically turning water into wine with Lindback last season.
  2. I have it for 2015. I was asking about 2016 to prepare myself
  3. Just signed up for DTV last month when I moved into my house. They've got me on that initial two year contract, so I'm definitely going to have to pay full price for Sunday Ticket next season huh?
  4. No kidding! I guess I missed out on that, last I remember it was the other way around. Either way, I really like them both.
  5. I would assume it would be between Blackwood (if he's available) and Samsonov who definitely should be available
  6. Interesting to see Murray mention they may draft a goalie at 21 or 31. Mackenzie Blackwood does seem to fit his preferred bigger goalie mold. Should be interesting.
  7. I think Bylsma would be a very solid option. He did have his weaknesses in his tenure in Pittsburgh, but he did the best thing possible a first time coach could do after being fired--watched as much as he could of all the teams in the league and delved further into analytics to try and shore up his weaknesses for the next job.
  8. This subject should be firmly under the category of "Oh my God, who the hell cares."
  9. Joe Chenelly said this on Twitter last night and I thought about how potentially potent a formation like that could be if they did somehow find a roster spot for Conner along with Felton.
  10. Let's say they see McKelvin as a B+ corner, and Graham as an A corner but a B safety. On the other hand, they see Duke Williams as a C safety. Do you start an A corner and a C safety? Or do you take the slight downgrade at CB for an upgrade next to Aaron Williams, making the unit as a whole stronger? This isn't necessarily my personal opinion on these players, I'm just laying it out there as an example.
  11. SF had one of the weakest WR corps in the league during the Harbaugh tenure, IMO. Even with Boldin, it was a pretty underwhelming group.
  12. @FieldYates: Source: 8 total teams put in a waiver claim on S D.J. Swearinger - TB, JAX, OAK, NYJ, ATL, BUF, PITT, BALT. Bucs had 1st priority.
  13. Agreed. He's an absolute enforcer as an in the box safety
  14. McCoyJackson Williams Brown Felton Clay O'Leary Gray
  15. No one wanted to be the team to give him a free ticket into the 2016 Draft AND not be eligible to select him in that draft.
  16. So Buffalo has the position but not the teammates, and Miami has the teammates but not the position.
  17. I posted this elsewhere where there's a sampling of all NFL fans who are mostly ruling Buffalo out. The more I talk about it, the more I feel like the Bills are still a good choice. There's a lot of opportunity here for him and the scheme fit is excellent. - Cordy Glenn has been up and down at LT and his contract is almost up. - Seantrel Henderson was...not very good at RT. - Both guard spots were a tire fire last year. - Aaron Kromer is one of the best line coaches in the league. - Rex Ryan just signed a 5 year deal so he's got 3 seasons minimum, unlike Philbin or Fisher (or Lovie?) who could be gone if they don't improve again. - If they do take official visits after the 9th, I'm sure Pegula will throw the whole deal at him. He's said since the day he bought the Sabres that he always ran his business by treating employees like family. He's extended that to the sports teams and it seems to really help. - Collins agent also went to Penn State so hopefully he at least does a fellow alum/booster the favor of a visit when the time comes
  18. Depending on how the rehab went, maybe he's not quite the same player he was before the injuries, but can still be a decent player. I'm sure another factor is that Clemson hasn't exactly been known for its defense in the Dabo era.
  19. Rex just HAPPENED to be in Louisiana for an unsanctioned dinner last night. With a private flight that took off at 530. After being at OBD all day and meeting with Carrington. Coincidence. Gotta love Pegula having that jet at the team's disposal
  20. You can look for yourself and tell me what you think. Here's the link. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/la%27el-collins?id=2552361
  21. If this scouting report doesn't get you excited I don't know what will. Scheme fit and positional fit are here in Buffalo. NFL Comparison Maurkice Pouncey Bottom Line Brawling right tackle or guard prospect in the NFL who has had a level of success in hyper-competitive SEC West. Lacks athleticism to be a consistent left tackle, despite his snaps there in college. Collins plays with a mean streak that is evident in every game, and could come in and start right away in a power-running game as a guard.
  22. Glenn Miller Wood Incognito Collins Henderson is the swing tackle, Urbik the interior lineman. Kouandijo and Richardson also stick. A guy can dream
