Casey's in Brockport had 50 wings for $5.00 on Monday nights, circa 1984. Also had $5.00 pitchers of Genny on Monday nights. We knew the cook and he told us when we ordered, tell the waiter we wanted "sliced celery." He knew that was us, and he'd pile on another 15-20 wings atop the 50.

The only one I can recall was the 2011 home opener vs. the Raiders...was in the air coming back from west coast and didn't learn all the craziness that transpired in the final minutes until after the game ended. A 3-0 start in 2011 ends in a 6-10 disaster. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201109180buf.htm

Yeah, that's going to be weird...they're not drawing flies now...before the end of the season, they may let the wharf rats in.

A's, hard to believe, have been in Oakland longer than they were in Philadelphia as a founding AL member in 1901.

@Mike in Horseheadsis there any room left on our bandwagon? I heard the owner will keep the name as is.

Haven't seen this addressed specifically, but I would think that you would need YTTV to access their DVR.

I write and eat left handed but throw and do a lot of things right handed...I guess you can say I'm amphibious.

It only works if you subscribe to a cable or satellite system that carries MASN…they don’t make it available directly to the consumer, ala YES and NESN.
-
This is MLB's misguided way of protecting the cable and satellite companies who carry the RSN. In the DC area, MASN, still stuck in the 20th century, is not available on any streamer. NBC Sports Washington is on YouTubeTV, so there's an avenue there, but MASN is most likely looking for an astronomical sum, which, to their credit, YTTV won't pay. I switched to YTTV shortly after the NFL season ended, and a few weeks after, they dropped MLB Network. I'm none too happy with YTTV now, but it's the best of the crappy streamers out there. The streamers, several years ago, were a viable alternative to cord cutting, but now they're just another provider, dropping channels and raising prices just like the cable behemoths. Same...a little leaguer makes that play.

Was Larry Bird the best 3 point shooter ever?
Ned Flanders replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
You wonder how Pete Maravich would have fared with a three point line and better health. He could have been the best there ever was. -
The first down clock stoppage was always, to me at least, part of the beauty of the college game...however, now with four hour plus games, I think it's time it goes away. I like the compromise of the clock stoppage during the final two minutes of each half.

OK, I know there isn't much love for this band, but for those of us who grew up in the 60s, it was a fun group. Micky Dolenz currently touring and playing from the Headquarters album, which the band played their own instruments and helped with much of the lyrics. Here's my favorite from that album:

What's on your Mt. Rushmore of Sitcoms?
Ned Flanders replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
In the spirit of the NCAAs, first four in: MASH (the Frank Burns years) Barney Miller (even with cast changes, Fish, Nick, show kept its edge) Taxi (could do without Latka, Jim saved the show) Odd Couple (perfectly cast, even the Pidgeon Sisters) Last four out: Cheers (the Coach years) Mary Tyler Moore Show (again, a great cast) Honeymooners (the 1955-56 run, even while short, set the standard) Happy Days (until Fonzie moved in the apartment above the garage) Honorable mention: Just about anything Norman Lear touched, All in the Family, Good Times, Maude, The Jeffersons -
Seeing him on the 27th in DC...greatest rock showman out there. First saw him during The River tour in Rochester in December 1980.
