  1. I don't think this is hyperbole here...I certainly remember the angst about signing a new lease. Ralph, who is cheap BTW, wasn't throwing bombs about moving the team but there was a certain uneasiness about the franchise. There was a lot of political wrangling on all levels, federal, state, local, to get the lease signed. I remember the late great Tim Russert talking about going to visit with Sen. Chuck Schumer in DC as a "Son of Buffalo" in support of a new lease. It was certainly a tumultuous process, that thankfully, got done.
  2. Remember hearing Flutie say that the play was supposed to be a handoff to Thurman, but they got their signals crossed. Good thing, because as the video shows, Thurman was stacked up at the line on 4th down.
  3. That one's up there for sure...recall though that the game was blacked out in WNY, due to not selling out before the 72 hour deadline. I remember listening to the call on the radio. Believe it was during the short time when Van wasn't on the radio, it was Al Meltzer and Rick Azar.
  4. Ralph is cheap
  5. Dang, these are good. Pricey but good. The tangerine flavor is fine as well.
  6. This guy's a comedic genius...coming out with a show on OutKick later this summer. https://www.foxnews.com/video/6355621449112
  7. Put this same oriole feeder up the other day, and not one dang oriole...guess it will take some time? It's placed about 10 feet from my regular bird feeder, should I place it even further apart?
  8. "...very pretty, very pretty colonel...but can they fight?"
  9. I've always said, Rochester is a great place to be from. Grew up there in the 60s and 70s when if your father didn't work at Kodak, you could find a dozen Dakers on your block. Left for the military in '76, came back and went to Brockport and left for good in '85. Thoughts of moving back after retirement trickle in and out, but good gawd, I don't think I could stand the bitter cold. I'm old.
  10. Always like the Marriott Residence Inn on Delaware...walking distance to good Allentown bars/restaurants.
  11. Must have left it to a 23 year old program director to determine today's schedule. 🙄
  12. Did you call YouTube TV and get the discount?
  13. Robb Riddick Reuben Gant Halvor Hagan James Harris Rod Kush Kenneth Davis Frank Reich
  14. I feel this way watching an NHL game. Watch a hockey game from the early 80s where the boards, ice, jerseys, helmets are free of annoying advertising. Such a clean game.
  15. Lambeau 2010. Bills got crushed but the Green Bay history was awesome. Pack fans are a good group as well.
  16. Went to see the Bills in Green Bay in 2010 and they had already made that stadium and its adjoining museum a 365/24/7 destination. I understand they've added more amenities since to enhance the "Green Bay experience." Would something like that work in Buffalo? Hard to tell because Green Bay's history is so rich and deep. Sure, we've been to Super Bowls, but Buffalo is not the national brand Green Bay is. Agree though, odd that more hasn't sprouted up around the stadium in recent years.
  17. Just renewed and in the fine print, it reads that ST w/RZ will automatically renew next season at the regular $349 price on August 11, 2025. Just an FYI.
  18. F no. There will be enough drunken louts routing for the Chiefs, we don't need another one.
  19. KC-Pitt; Baltimore-Houston are the Christmas games.
  20. Baltimore a little bit. Ethnic neighborhoods, good local taverns, a food that identifies the city (wings/crabs), a feeling of inferiority toward another city (NYC/Washington, DC).
  21. I go by results. Josh is the most talented QB, no question, and perhaps the best athlete the Bills have ever had. Agree to disagree. 😊
  22. Roman Gabriel's fashion statement in the opening is fire. On raw talent, sure, but until Josh gets to a Super Bowl, Kelly is number one.
  23. Waiting to see what the Bills early season schedule looks like when it comes out Wednesday night. If there's several national games slated early on, I may hold out.
  24. Thrown into an unfair situation in replacing a legend, but Murph performed admirably, especially during The Drought. Best wishes toward a full recovery.
