He got fired after filing and expense report. Happens all the time
-
He's going to struggle. I like Maye, but that is a rough position to be in. That team has very little talent As an aside, the Pats* move on from BB, which was the right move IMO. But the fact they didnt even do a coaching search at all and just hired Mayo is still Bizarre to me

Hire Saleh as defensive coordinator IMMEDIATELY
Captain Hindsight replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Jets had 6 first rounders on defense. If that unit wasn’t elite, that was a huge problem -
He was a huge problem. The fact that people love to point out “his defense is good, so it’s not his fault” is ridiculous. There was a report that for the first time in his 3+ seasons as a HC, he was attending offensive meetings. Which means, he had no idea what was happening on that side of the ball He is the HC and is responsible for everything that happens within the building. Even if it’s not his specialty, it’s shows a lack of accountability over his team. It also explains why the offense has been such a ***** show since he got there. Rodgers said they need to hold guys accountable and Salah said they should change the cadence. He was a terrible HC. Jets should have fired him last year and they didn’t simply to keep Hackett around for Rodgers

That team was losing games by being completely undisciplined. This is a new issue for the Jets either. They've been boom or bust his entire time there. They should have fired him last year. Everyone points out he has a good defense. They have 6 first rounders on defense! they had better be elite

I heard that talks cooled after the London game. This makes sense as to why

Dolphins activate OBJ, will play vs Pats
Captain Hindsight replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
OBJ had some good highlight plays last year. I don’t think this moves the needle much for Miami, especially with Tua still out. I’m not sure they win a game until he comes back -
Concerned that Joe Brady may have crashed back to reality.

Right? Last week we were afraid he’d be a HC next year. Now he’s out of his element? -
Did Beane Fail Josh and the fan base?

This will be a fan thread to resurrect during the victory parade -
Shakir and Oliver both out Sunday

I agree on the whole bargain bin, but I cant believe they didnt draft a second WR in a strong draft class after losing Diggs and Gabe -
Yeah their pass rush is pretty bad. In a weak NFC, that may not matter as much as it would in the AFC
-
Kirk has been awesome. The Falcons are my sneaky pick to win the NFC. That team is loaded. If there was a ever a team that was a QB away, it was Atlanta last year. Raheem Morris said something in his intro presser about if the falcons had a QB last year, he might now be there

Bills bars around Saugerties/Catskill?
Captain Hindsight replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its been about 12 years since I lived there, but I used to go the Hyde Park Brewery to watch game. No idea if its still there tho -
Tre White wouldnt answer your collect call you cheap bastard
-
This is a great comparison. Difference being that McDaniel has Hill and Waddle and Gailey had Stevie and David Nelson
-
Well that’s not great. I saw 13-19 100 yards, that at least serviceable backup numbers. I still stand by the fact that not being able to score with Tyreek Hill, Waddle and Achane is insane, regardless of who is at QB
-
Everyones backup sucks. Theres a lot to rip on them for, but Skyler was playing ok in Seattle until he got hurt. The fact they can't score without Tua is a major problem though.

Safety play: Actually pretty good?
Captain Hindsight replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hamlin and Rapp have been fine. We have been spoiled by such elite safety play the last 7 years, but in reality, Hamlin and Rapp have been good. I'd love to see more impact plays, but the bigger issue has been backups at LB -
Brees is an interesting example. He was playing great with the chargers, but there were legit concerns about him being able to play again after his shoulder injury. His original contract with the Saints was very incentive laden. Even they weren't sure he could come back
-
The closest example is probably Kirk Cousins. He was probably top 10 at the time
-
Ok, but his last hire on the offensive side of the ball was Matt ***** Patricia and Joe Judge. His son was the DC. What kind of staff are we getting? BB has nothing left. His staff is going to be all of his old buddies who all failed. You’re going to let that near Josh Allen???? Insane
-
Ah yes, I knew this was coming. Lets ignore the fact the he also assembled a receiving core that makes Mack Hollins look like Jerry Rice. Or the fact the team was so bad his last few he got fired for his former LB to come in and continue to suck. Or that the Falcons choose Raheem Morris over BB He also beat the chiefs in Arrowhead in 2018, which is a lifetime in the NFL. BB time has come and gone.

The Bills don't get whooped. Like ever. Sunday was the first time this team had lost by more than a TD since 2021. I have plenty of reservations about McDermott, but hes a damn good coach. Also, who is the mystery coach that is going to take the team to the next level? Everyone acts like there is some mystery chiefs slayer coach that no one else has hired that the league is just waiting to give to Josh Allen
