I think Miami played their best game of the year. They are clearly not going 0-16. That team is better coached than I thought. Bills came out flat, woke up and then turned it on and put away a desperate team. It wasnt too long ago that certain bearded QB was QBing a team that started 0-8 before winning a few games against some good teams. Fitz knows what it takes to win and he gave it his all sunday. Bills were a better team and won, but Miami will be no cakewalk for the rest of the year. Unless Rosen plays

Me too. He may be preparing for his next career between March and June, but after that he is 100% football. Fun to speculate, but I doubt Brady goes anywhere

McDermott seems to have a good handle on the rules. I've noticed he coaches the guys to push the offensive player backwards before going out of bounds late in games. It keeps the clock running Bills lost on this rule in Seattle a few years ago when SW was pushed out

I would rank just on this season. All these guys have had similar number of starts at this point. A few arrows are pointing up, a few have leveled off and a few have disappeared completely I'm happy to see our guy trending up. All have flaws however and they will continue to struggle from time to time I think Darnold will be just fine. Hes good, just had an awful night

I would argue this FO is very aggressive in making moves. Trading for KB didn't work out, but it was an aggressive move. Trading up from 21 to 7 is pretty aggressive. As is trading up again for your starting MLB in the same draft

I actually didnt have a problem with that. Fitz was playing well enough that an extra TO would have been a godsend. With the Fins down two scores and an onside kick virtually impossible to recover with the new rules, I'd do the same thing

What game were you watching? Josh was good yesterday. Steady and calm and was almost perfect in the second half. I will take that everyday from our QB after years of wondering which version of Tyrod/Fitz/EJ/Orton/Tuel/Popcorn guy was going to show up

I was reading MMQB this morning in regards to all the QBs Elway has drafted Osweiler _ Retired Simien - Backup for Jets Lynch - Currently a backup to a dude named Duck Lock - Shaky preseason, currently on IR and signed/traded for Keenum Paid 25mil for one season Flacco - Looks completely shot Since he was able to convince a HOFer to play QB for him. Elway probably should be fired, but likely won't since of who he used to be.

Yeah I thought Flacco looked done. He wasnt getting much help from his O line to be fair, but very little urgency or much at all for him SOOOOOO glad John Elway felt secure enough in *checks notes* Case Keenum.... to pass on talents like Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson

I get trying to retool a roster and get a QB, but you still need some pieces on the roster. Drake is a young, cheap and talented RB. Is the 4th round pick really worth it to miami? They still have to find someone to run the ball

Not if they continue to draft and sign FAs well. There is a ton of depth on this roster right now as evidenced by guys getting claimed and traded at the end of PS. Its one of the reasons the Patriots are so successful every year. They always have some UDFA start at a key position and play well for peanuts Not unlike Levi Wallace

Vrabel always seemed like an odd choice for a HC. What exactly has he done to earn that role? He doesnt seem especially innovative or super motivating. What was the appeal? Mariota has always been...ok. I always expected him to play better and he just never did. Hes had a ton of OCs which didn't help but he is super conservative. Gotta take chances in this league
