  1. Its not the end of an era, but Lamar does need to be consistent throwing the ball to be successful long term. He had 35 yards at halftime. No chance to win a game if thats what you put up through the air
  2. But he didn't They traded a WR and CB for a WR and CB and draft picks. They guys they got in return were not as talented at Watkins and Darby, but its not like Beane cut them and signed some PS guy I also believe that McDermott wins a few games with the 0-16 Browns and this Jets team. Coaching matters. I think the Jets stuggled to recruit players too since their coach is an Jerk and the team wasn't very good. Why would you choose to go there if you had other options? It how you end up with Chris Hogan starting in week 4
  3. When Lamar played in Buffalo last year my take away from him was he was a tremendous athlete, Ok passer. If you are constantly winning, he will be lights out MVP. But if they get behind, it could get ugly. Last night showed that. Lamar needs to get more consistent throwing and needs to hit long passes and the sideline if he is going to continue to be successful
  4. I'm hoping that Joe Vitt is named the interim coach just to piss Greggggggg off
  5. Yeah that never made sense too me. He had good size and a good arm, but nothing eye popping talent wise Josh had bad numbers at Wyoming, but he also had a freak skill set that was worth taking a chance on. I'm not sure what Trubisky showed to warrant taking him over Watson at a minimum, much less Mahomes
  6. Surrpises 1) Josh ******* Allen is playing lights out. I expected him to better. I did not expect him to be this good 2) We have a legit offense. I'm not sure this team scores less that 24 all season 3) 3-0! Disappointments 1) Run Defense 2) Can we guard a TE? 3) Moss has been... not great
  7. Maybe we could give Star a captains hat and say its Marcel?
  8. "Darnolds two pick 6's yesterday were very catchable balls" - PFF
  9. Mineshew kept throwing this little 6 yard dump offs down 14 with 6 mins left. Some guy in my FF league keeps saying Minshew is great and if they build around him they will win the super bowl (hes not joking) I told him he's a younger Fitzpatrick and less of a gunslinger. I think last night showed exactly what I meant by that He just needs 10 feet high receivers. Clearly the receivers fault - PFF probably
  10. 3rd and 31? ahhahahahahahahahahahh
  11. Averaging 15k after two games. Not sure the exact number for last night http://www.espn.com/nfl/attendance
  12. I was skeptical and thought Rosen was a safer pick. Went to his first start against the Chargers and Josh threw some deep out on a rope like a 40-50 yard throw and I audibly gasped. From then on, I knew he had a shot to be really special. The Vikings game the next week just showed just how athletic he was and what he was capable of. Its been bumpy at times, but from that one throw, I had a feeling he was going to be great
  13. They should give him the award whenever they play the dolphins. That is his 3rd against Miami I believe
  14. If the Lions ever gave Stafford a RB which the rest of the league finds without any issue, he might have actually won a playoff game or two
  15. Oh gosh not with the Fitz wheel of death. We would have Fitz start a few games
  16. You are correct. I was surprised he had almost 400 yards because it honestly didn't feel like he was playing that well. Thinking back to the broadcast, Seattle lost nearly their entire secondary in the 1st quarter. So that 400 yards is less impressive, although its still a very good night
  17. Sure, and if he had a 200 yard game and 1 TD in each, I'd feel differently. But he absolutely demolished these "bad" teams. Against Miami when the game was in doubt he was 6-8 for 145 yards and 2 TDs. I don't care who you are playing, 400 yards and 4Tds is a hell of an achievement
  18. Loved it when it happened and it has already exceeded my expectations. What a great feeling knowing a GM is going to make that call and be willing to pull the trigger
  19. How do you get sacked there? He had 10 seconds!
  20. Agreed. I think if Milano or Edmunds had played it wouldnt have been that close. But I also think Miami is better than people think. They wont win a ton, but they wont be an easy out most weeks
  21. Cam looked good last night. I was surprised to see he had almost 400 yards last night. If I was the Pats**************** I'd worry about all the shots he takes. Its working now, but hes 31 coming off a few seasons with multiple injuries and ending up on IR.
  22. I'm an engineer. Which means I know nothing about football
  23. You are supposed to declare on Friday if a player is in or out. If they keep it secret, they could be fined money or draft picks. To beat the dolphins, i think you just come out with it
  24. Expect lots of runs and lots to the TE
