Any chance Tua lands in New England?
Captain Hindsight replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm just tired of people making excuses for a guy who just can't cut it at this level. Its such a common tale its maddening that people still defend a guy who two teams gave up on after a year and a half after he was a top ten pick. I'd encourage people to go watch his AZ tape. I watched a bunch last year before the draft to see why they were gonna give up on him after a year and by game 6 I would have benched him myself. Yes thats a bad team and not well coached but Rosen was awful. No anticipation, no zip, late on reads, just bad. He looked closer to Peterman than a viable starter. The fact their was any debate over whether to keep him or draft Murray is laughable. If there was any sign of progress or a glimmer of hope, no way he gets pulled for Fitz after Fitz was benched. I'd argue that if the Dolphins were in fact tanking, they would have kept playing Rosen. Playing Fitz was their only hope of winning a game and they knew it. -

How is their any proof of this? And you can absolutely judge him to this point. His o-line in AZ was no worse than Josh's in Buffalo. He had better weapons too with a HALL OF FAMER WR. Josh had 3 guys who are currently out of the NFL. One guy made the people around him better, one did not. At some point it can be that Rosen was put into a bad situation and he still sucks. They do not have to be mutually exclusive -

Miami kind of reminded more of Chan Gailey's first year with the Bills (with Fitz as QB of course) Bad team that got hot at the end of the year. Now if they hit on some picks, they could be a really good team, but they better get a QB or it will all be for naught -
Got mine the other day. I'm like 75% sure I'll be furloughed in a few weeks so it will be needed. My wife, luckily, is busy as ever so we should at least have one income

Haven't been around anyone but my wife and dog in weeks. I'm not a hugely social person but ***** I loved my Saturday at noon beer at the brewery Two beers, chatting up the bartender and random people coming for a brew. That's what I miss the most -
Bucs apparently shopping OJ HOWARD

I think we would be better sticking with Kroft honestly. He's a decent player albeit on a larger contract than he needs, but if not for a foot injury last year, I think he would turned some heads as a reliable, athletic TE -

Read the article posted in the beginning of this thread. People who study infectious disease say they will absolutely have to live in isolation for the season. If one person tests positive, shut it down for two weeks at a minimum That is no way to run a sports league -

I mean is it? Everyone is being told to stay in their homes and we can't even handle that. You think all these millionaire professional athletes, not to mention all the support staff who have families are just going to self isolate for 4 months for your entertainment? Almost 24,000 people have died in the US from this. Just under 3000 died on 9/11. We have been dumping money around the world, sending soldiers to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan to keep us safe from one 9/11 happening again. We've already had that for 8 days now and were a month into dealing with this. I want normal, I want sports too, but even talking about opening up the country or sports right now is incredibly short sighted. -

Why does everyone assume that having 22 grown men running around on a field, not to mention another 100 people on the sidelines, media and refs is safe for those 300 people, but having fans there too is suddenly not safe? There will be no football until we have this under control. Whether thats a vaccine, better treatment or something that someone a lot smarter than me comes up, the NFL, NFLPA will not agree to play until it is determined safe by the medical community At the end of the day, its entertainment. In a society that is a wonderful thing, but hardly essential. This is a public health emergency. Football isnt a concern, nor should it And yes I want a season to happen. I love football more than anything, but we have to be safe first- 221 replies
