  1. Not to belabor the point, but how do you know how NFL teams really feel about Kyle Williams or anyone else? Simms doesn’t do his rankings based on how the league views these prospects…he’s made that very clear, and with Williams, he said that the mock drafters have him ranked way too low, and that once NFL teams look at his tape, there’s no way he gets out of the second round.
  2. Only if Sanders goes in the top 3, which now seems like 50/50 at best.
  3. Everyone likes to hate on Simms for one or two of his misses, like Zach Wilson or Dyami Brown (who’s still turned out to be a pretty good NFL player), but his pre-draft WR rankings have been extremely good overall. Last year, for example, his top 2 were Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr, and he correctly pointed out that Marvin Harrison was overrated and lacked explosiveness, when everyone else said he was the greatest prospect ever. He also had Justin Jefferson as his WR 1, when most had him 4th or 5th that year. I actually think his WR rankings are better than his QB rankings.
  4. You forgot Kyle Williams, Washington State WR. We would have to use one of our 2nd rounders for him…
  5. I figured that was the reason. It’s still stupid.
  6. Thanks. I couldn’t understand what he was even proposing..
  7. What are you talking about? Seems incoherent…
  8. It was a few weeks before the draft, but the Panthers traded picks plus DJ Moore to move up to first overall, to select Bryce Young, to their everlasting regret….
  9. I think it was before the draft…
  10. That is not a “fact”, of course.
  11. It’s hard to believe that was the best offer for Milton. Hell, if I was NO, the Giants or the Browns I would trade at least a fourth for him and let him compete for the job. What do you have to lose?
  12. Cook will have a big year in 2025, and he’s a living, walking, breathing comp pick. Stupid to trade him now…
  13. Great pick. He def won’t be available in the middle of round 2 IRL…
  14. They didn’t flip Milton for a fifth. They moved up 43 draft slots, from the seventh round to the back end of the fifth. That’s zilch…
  15. Grant seems perfect for the Bills and a lot of mocks have him making it to 30, which I question. Would folks here be ok packaging one of our 2nds to move up to the teens to make sure we get him?
  16. Milton has zero chance of starting in Dallas
  17. My comment was sort of tongue-in-cheek, but still, I wonder how many teams fall irrationally in love with a college player because of his interview, or vice versa. Professional football just doesn’t seem like job where your “interview” should matter much…
  18. Size, mobility, arm-strength…
  19. Agreed, which means the trade makes even less sense.
  20. Maye’s development isn’t going to hinge on who his backup is…
  21. If Maye goes down, their season is likely over with either Dobbs or Milton, but at least Milton has upside potential and could develop into something. Dobbs gives you nothing that you couldn’t get from a street free agent like Mike White or some other bum.
  22. I wonder if interviews of draft-eligible players have any value at all…it seems possible that a team that conducted no interviews and just based their board on tape evaluation might be better off…
  23. So what? If Maye were to get hurt, do you really think Josh Dobbs keeps them in contention for a playoff spot?
  24. How much of a chance does Milton have to beat out Dak Prescott?
  25. It didn’t even cost Dallas a 5th. They moved back 46 slots at the tail end of the draft…that’s it.
