  1. Semantics. What is the practical difference? Under our system, “not guilty” is the only available “vindication” for someone wrongly accused of a crime. No one has ever been found “innocent”.
  2. The only Bills player who was, for a time, inarguably the best player in the NFL. IMO, the best running back of all time.
  3. Ok, he was found not guilty. Can you explain the difference?
  4. Yep…like it or not, that’s our system.
  5. Is it a Bills football website, or not? Simpson was found not guilty of murder, just like Tyreek Hill was never convicted of domestic abuse or whatever it is that people here constantly smear him with. I don’t see the hypocrisy you’re talking about.
  6. Well, it is a Bills football website and he was the best Bills player of all time, so I don’t understand your point…
  7. With the 12th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select Brian Thomas, Jr., WR, LSU. We are excited to be able to add Thomas, Jr after trading back and adding a second round pick next year from a Denver team that probably won’t win many games in 2024. Thomas is the most explosive receiver in this stacked WR class…6’3” guys with insane athletic ability, 4.3 speed and great college production don’t come around too often. We thought about going OT here, but the chance to add a guy like Thomas—and pair him with his college QB—was too good to pass up. We don’t have a second round pick, and we were concerned that we would lose out on a top WR if we waited. @CNYfan and the LV Raiders are on the clock.
  8. No one wants to move back that far, especially in a mock like this one. It’s not at all realistic to think the Bills could move into the top seven. It won’t happen in real life, either.
  9. Recognizing that Williams is the consensus pick, I tried to trade out of this slot, but there was only one team I was willing to trade with and they didn’t go for it. In real life, I think that trade would have got done if the Bears liked someone other than Williams. FWIW, I don’t think this is nearly as outlandish as Daniels lasting until 11, which is what happened in version 1.0.
  10. That’s fine. I don’t like the player and I’m not picking him for my team, especially when there are other options.
  11. Then why haven’t they announced it?
  12. That’s actually the proper attitude. No one knows, even with regard to the big 3. Few of the highest paid WRs in the league were first round picks…FWIW, I’m warming to the idea of Keon Coleman, regardless where the Bills take him. The guy is a great athlete and a baller, despite his lack of burning speed. I just think he’s going to be in the league for a long time and will be very productive.
  13. It’s what I would do. I don’t think a predictive mock is very interesting or worthwhile. i suspect that Chicago will take Williams, if for no other reason than he is the safe pick…no one will second guess them if they pick him. But I think the guy is going to struggle greatly in the NFL. He holds the ball way too long, doesn’t take care of the football, and I have serous questions about his attitude.
  14. Other than the fact that they haven’t said they are, no. But if I’m the GM, I don’t want Caleb Darnold.
  15. With the very first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU. Chicago is not the place for a crybaby with pink fingernails and a pink iPhone protector. Daniels was the most accurate QB in college football, has incredible speed and mobility, and most importantly, has a good head on his shoulders. Daniels’s arm is plenty strong and he is a very quick processor. He is not Justin Fields 2.0. Flame away! Spoiler alert: We’re willing to listen to offers for pick 9. @H2o and the team formerly known as the Redskins are on the clock.
  16. I’m getting on a plane in an hour and would like permission to turn in the Bears’ pick a little early…we know who we’re taking (and not taking)😲
  17. Chicago, Washington or Seattle
  18. So we’ve already been eliminated? Interesting.
  19. Yes, he did. KC just got back a third round pick for L Sneed, who is a first team all-pro and much younger than Diggs…
  20. With the 96th selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select DJ James, CB, Auburn. With this comp pick, we’re able to add one of the three best man-coverage corners in this year’s draft. Unlike the two Alabama corners who were picked in round 1, James was constantly asked to cover number 1 SEC receivers man-to-man and he held up very well. We are extremely pleased with our top three picks this year, each of whom shores up an area of need: Laiatu Latu, Roman Wilson and DJ James. @Might Rather and the Cincinnati Burrows are on the clocks.
  21. The Bills made the exact same play vs KC that Snead made against Flowers in the Ravens game, but it didn’t matter because the Bills were badly out played at home…almost 8 YPP vs just over 4 YPP… just not good enough.
  22. We needed a WR before Diggs left…now we need two. Get Aiyuk without giving up 28, then take Leggette, McConkey or whomever at 28.
