Buffalo in total size is relativly small compared to many other NFL cities, ie: see San Diego with a (so I was told) 50 mile city limit. If Buffalo's city limit was 50 miles it wouldn't surprise me if the population was in the 1-2 million range and that's not counting Southern Ontario as you pointed out. The "talking heads" that sprew nonsense about Buffalo being a small market just show how truely ignorant they are. There are more than enough people in WNY, Southern Ontario and Rochester and beyond to sell out RWS.......easy!!!! Ten years without making the playoffs and maybe one or two games didn't sell out in time to lift the TV black-out; & those games did sell out !! The only thing that is missing here is not enough consistant corporate purchases of the suites and to a lesser extent club seats.

As someone else suggested, it's very possible that the 14 year old has younger siblings. Even if that's not the case, does it really count as "pussification" when the kid is sticking it to the babysitter? I was agreeing with Joe Miner and indirectly responding to DC Tom's "What 14 year old needs a sitter?" At 14 there was no sitter. Niether at 13 did anyone watch; nor at 12 when I first used a 12 guage on birds did I ever get "babysat" !!! So ya to see that a 14 year old today needs a babysitter is in my book the "pussification" of teenage boys not that the kid was banging his babysitter. Good for him BTW. What constantly horny 14 year old boy doesn't dream about doing this exact same thing with some pretty lass? Think back to the time when you were 14 HONESTLY GUYS, there had to be at least one girl you dwelled on the coud make your Rocketship 7 take off for the moon. Today the thought police clamp down on kids that just want to be friends I've seen it over and over by overly protective parents who coddle their kids. I was involved in scouting a few years back and the reasons these parents gave for not allowing their kid to go camping (this is Boy Scouts who do go camping BTW) just floored me. "Johnny will get homesick" "Mikey might get poison ivy" "Alex doesn't know how to swim"....ya we thaught them to swim BTW, at least the ones who were allowed to go to camp and that grand-daddy of all excuses "we don't allow richie to be alone with other people" That poor kid was screwed for life and not by some pretty young thing

Good point Tom, never ever uderestimate the dumbing down of Americans. -
Same here...the pussification of young American males just gets worse and worse. 14 and needs a babysitter. Are his parents nuts or what??? At 14 I was already hunting on my own with the other farm kids, drove tractor and picked crops for spending money. I remember being told...if you want it, work for it and I did.

Call or write the sponsors that WGR's programming is no longer worth your time listening to and you will not buy their product because you associate extreme negativity toward their product because of their relationship with WRG radio. I did a few years ago and if more people followed suit the programming would change. Oh and I never listen to that childish babble anymore. I figure if anything positive happens with the supposed sports talk about the Bills; someone here I know will post the news that WGR has changed. Until then 'GR is off my radar.

Bills interested in OT Tyson Clabo

Well, well, well...happy as hell about this but still a little shocked that Nix was able to pull it off. Good for him. -
Bills interested in OT Tyson Clabo
LancasterSteve replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So far the only good news here is that the Bills are giving us Club seat holders free grub and drink at ALL the night practices. Not "one" like in the past. Maybe they are trying to make up for the fact that most of the heated seats are busted and can't be fixed BTW just sign the guy. If the Bills thought they were set at RT there wouldn't be didilly squat mentioned about Clabo in the same breath as the Bills. I'll say it again, don't blame Buddy Nix if we don't land this guy it will fall squarely on Wilson's bean counters. -
Brad Smith...Update...signs with Buffalo

This says it all- "and possibly mean that more Pistol offense is on the way". Chan misses the SEC -
Thanks Glenn. The Bills should have stayed in a 4-3 but we have a DC George Edwards that doesn't have a clue on how to run it. This was Chan's call; the 'ol coaching buddy-buddy system at its worst and Nix would never tell Gailey (again the good 'ol boy coaching network) who to hire. Ralph Wilson might have questioned in his younger days the hiring of a DC that planned revamping a defense with so few players onboard that could play in it. That will never happen again as RW's mind now is one degree this side of mush and that's sad both for Mr. Wilson and the Bills team. The Bills are left with 2 non-football types (a lawyer and a former marketing guy) calling all the shots. Nix answers to them and one of the biggest con games out there is the perception that Buddy Nix can go after this or that player without asking pretty please first. None of these guys would last one hour under different ownership !!!

The Absurdity of the French
LancasterSteve replied to LancasterSteve's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Ya those responses were sophomoric by a rather insignificant number of Americans. What the "French government" by making it illegal to speak these words at all is outright censorship. Just because they are Anglo in origin, they ban them??? Pansy-a$$ed sissies -
Yep it never ever ends....on top of the honey-do lists

I am so very sorry Mead, heartfelt condolences from Lisa & I

Crazy stuff. The French never cease to amaze me with their utter disdain for anything Anglo. Nutso link: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/03/french-ban-twitter-facebook_n_871153.html?icid=main%7Cverizon%7Cdl6%7Csec3_lnk2%7C215145

Understand your point, please understand that I am over 6000 miles away and I have found this place to get a taste of home. do I take it personnel, hell yeah. I don't have too many options to stay in contact with my roots. When I see someone talking about my beloved bills, it hits close to the heart. you should understand and thanks for checking back. I don't mean to hijak Jimmy's thread, but this can't be said enought times: Thanks for your service to our great country. Been there, done that -
Not by much....CBS Sports is a Micky Mouse run organization
