  1. I don't understand the attraction for making this a film. How is this going to be even remotely interesting for people outside Buffalo? Perhaps being in "Buffalo" is just a very minor part of this film. It probably would have been more realistic if it was the Lions with the first pick. Don't they know going 6/10 every year isn't going to land the top pick?
  2. If we hate Fitz's propensity to turn the ball over, just wait until Vick takes a snap for the Bills. If they are looking for a face-saving way for throwing a rookie QB into action mid season, they may have just found it.
  3. I can guarantee at least 3-4 QBs are taken in the top 15. These guys are just ranking prospects and assigning teams to them based on draft order, not trying to predict who will actually be taken by which team in the real draft. They do not account for reaches and they assign each position an equal importance, basically best player available.
  4. I always knew the changing of his name to Demetress would be a bad career move.
  5. I have not heard the "C2C" used for some time. I think they probably went over C2C last year when they signed Williams and Anderson. That said, I haven't heard them say they were abandoning C2C either. So, it probably in Ralph's back pocket because Ralph Is Cheap.
  6. And the Bangles have $63 M. It also shows that it was very rare for a team to spend right up to the cap, so I don't expect to see an all out spending frenzy come March.
  7. But, is this "carried over" unused money going to continued to be carried over or is it just for the 2013 season? If not, if we used this money, we'd be in trouble in 2014. Plus, how did the Eagles ever get do much extra cap space. Didn't they spend anything to assemble their "dream team"? That's some good cap management apparently.
  8. I think after the last 2 years, Fitz knows his place on this team. He had his chance and couldn't get it done. He better accept it. He'll be a great back-up though. I would feel much dread if our starting QB went down and Fitz had to step in.
  9. Bernard Pollard is signed through 2015, Rice is signed through 2017, didn't check the rest.
  10. I don't think it's just a question if they are better than their back-ups. That's too simplified. They may be looking to upgrade in other areas and money spent on them is less money spent elsewhere. Perhaps they don't need stellar play out of those positions for the schemes they are going to run. Suppose Marrone wants to run a blocking scheme that doesn't require breaking the bank on a guard. Perhaps they will be targeting other players, such as those who have played for Pettine before.
  11. I would think the coaches would want to study the roster and see if our current FAs fit into their plans versus another player via draft or FA. I don't think they'll want to re-sign them just because they're current Bills. They have no loyalty to them and I don't think out FO would force players on them.
  12. I wonder if his impression has changed. Likely.
  13. That association is only for selective Cox-2 inhibitors used for greater than 5 months. Ketorolac is not a selective Cox-2 inhibitor, nor is it used for greater than 5 months. It is an acute analgesic usually only used for 3 days at most.
  14. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/12/sports/cycling/how-lance-armstrong-beat-cyclings-drug-tests.html?pagewanted=all He did not fail any conventional drug test during his time as a cycler. It took extraordinary amounts of re-testing and re-analyzing to finally find some proof that he did dope. Lance has been under the biggest microscope known to organized sports, I doubt Ray has faced the same amount of scrutiny. You would also think that if a professional athlete was going to ingest some ill-defined substance (deer antlers), one of the first things on their mind would be if it contained banned substances or could cause a failed test.
  15. Lance never tested positive for anything either. If you're going to allow IGF-1, you'll have to allow hGH too.
  16. If anything, due to its anti-platelet effects, I could see ketorolac as protective. More like the coke he was snorting. Just as a comparison, wake had 16 sacks in 2007 and 23 sacks in 2008 while playing in the CFL. He was a man among boys. This kid had 6?
  17. It would be awesome if you could reverse draft players. Like returning a product to the store to get your money back. So, in effect, could return a 1st round bust and get the pick back. There would have to be rules, of course, but it would be the ultimate way of installing parity.
  18. I tried it on my iPhone. Nothing happened. Maybe I need to try it on a monitor.
  19. I would pay him that much. Not even think twice. Come on, folks. He got his team to the Superbowl and he didn't do it riding a top-5 defense. I hope the Ravens are stupid enough to say no. In fact, Flacco may be the dumb one for not asking for more. He would easily get his asking price on the open market.
  20. This is sad. Buffalo (Nix) became so predictably dumb as to not take a QB when they should have been.
  21. Then I would give $15,000 to charity and still take of my injury. That's chump change for him.
  22. You mean lose a LG, who is versatile enough to play multiple OL positions, from the OL that allowed the least number of sacks in the NFL last season? The one who hasn't missed a start (which is saying a lot for our line) in the last 3 years and tweeted a side boob pick? That one? Obviously replaceable.
  23. I can stomach watching Fitz choke another year if I know that our franchise QB could possibly be sitting on our bench, learning. Without that, however distant, hope, I just can't go through another wasted year. If the Bills want to draft that "elite" QB prospect in the 2014 draft (do people even know what that would entail? I don't think so), then they can do that too.
