  1. we are the biggest unkown at this point. No doubt about that
  2. I have no idea what i was supposed to gain for reading that article...
  3. Well that I can appreciate that... and I fall prey to it myself especially mid season. Its hard enough, so I'd rather go skipping through the lilly fields of hope at this junction
  4. If you feel this way you could excuse yourself from the forums. I mean you want Buffalo out of the sports business all together than why waste everyones time here who do not share that thought. I don't care how pathetic Buffalo sports is or gets I am true blue till death The world is already negative enough... and yes I feel the pain, but if you have already given up all together don't be th eperson that has ot drag everyobody down with them please, and thank you
  5. LMFAO... no reason for these posts anymore. The fact remains in the modern NFL QB who have thrown for less than 60% average in College have flamed out in the NFL at a MUCH higher rate. yes thee are anomalies but in the last 10 years the number of sub 60% QB's going on to have great careers is diminishing considerably. If you need to make yourself feel better about the Allen draft pick your just gonna have to wait it out like the rest of us and see if he can function on the field. That's all you can do because you can't change the reality and that is we got ourselves a project QB with high ceiling and a low floor
  6. really can't muster up just a little optimism. Got be that debbie bowner.
  7. c'mon its the 1st time behind a new center 1st practice etc.. there is so much nothing going on with this tweet its actually gone beyond silly, and landed directly on puddy
  8. Eichel was aconsidered a great player an dwould of been a #1 pick in many drafts but McDavid was considered the generational player of the that draft. Eichel is killing it on a team that needs to purge 1/2 its roster. Kid is stil young and producing. Think of how much more he wil lproduce when he actually has some D men that can move the puck an dkeep the puck n the O zone. Dahlin is off the charts.... and is already considered further ahead for/at his age than many top D playing the game today when they were at a similair age. He makes players who are 4 - 6 years older then him look silly often. and he plays a solid 2 way game
  9. Freaking Russians messing with everyone and everything
  10. Me Terry and I hang occasionally I actually introduced him to Kim. Great girl. We're having BBQ this weekend down in there Florida home.. Awesom pad I might add
  11. Dahlin. He's a generational player.. He is as close to a sure thing future HOF'er that you can get. Hopefully Allen can develop but Dahlin is going to change the Sabres fate immediately, He will have a huge impact on the Sabres
  12. Doens't matter if McDermott don't like ST John Fisher, he is employed by the Bills. McDermott will get to decide how many open practices he will have but there not going to rip up a huge positive in regards to the fanbase growth.. The growing of the fanbase is a big part of the business model and you're not doing that moving it back to Ferdonia. You get way more fans interested being up North closer to multiple metropolises. St John Fisher for at least 4 more years but I suspect it will be extended again in 4.
  13. If he can reflect on the whole experience, self criticize on where he may have gone wrong and humble himself some he'll win Arizona's locker room over. That shows the character team says he lacks... We shall see
  14. That I did not know.. Yeah if you're not all in then you're not willing to give 100%. Most players just say anything you need me to do coach I'll do it
  15. Its not about being drafted 10th its about having 3 QB's drafted before him and he felt he was better that they were. That's a competitor IMO... He dosen't want to be 2nd to anyone. I never saw an issue with any of that. I have to assume he was a just a horrible interview We will find out. If he implodes in Arizona then he'll get the pretentious label. If he turns into a NFL career QB it will be called confidence.
  16. Best I can tell there was no real smoking gun regarding Rosens' character.. It was all a perception based. One must assume that he was a horrible interview if he could not put that perception to rest though. As for the St. Brown snub, To me that is just off the charts strange. I would view Notre Dame and speaking Multiple languages to positives, but I don't know where he was slotted ot be drafted ot begin with
  17. Caroloina Panthers North continues. No complaints as long as we win multipe superbowls
  18. unfortunately its the latter
  19. This thread is about scouting reports, and You've lost track of that and are now crusading because you don't like my opinion on it. My opinion isn't changing. If we are going by stats sheets and scouting reports I will take a 2 year performer over a QB who left one school went to a jr college then back to div 1 for 1 year of production worth noting. The scouting reports were almost identical If they were actually coming out at the same time I would reviewed lots of tape and made a more informed decision but this thread is about the scouting reports. I added stats in because it favored Allen IMO a sI do not like 1 year wonders at the QB position. Just my personal opinion not going to change either.
  20. I'm not a 1 year wonder guy which was the entire point. Shall we travel down the one year wonders road of those who got drafted early and busted out.
  21. http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?season=2011 2nd QB was Jake Locker @8 in 2011. Blaine was taken 10th If they came out at the same time I would of looked at Allen's resume compared to Cam's and would of preferred Allen. Not knowing what we know today. I'm talking to blank slates, 2 unknowns. Allen played on an inferior talented team but had multiple years of production. Cam switched schools and had 1 year of production. There wer plenty who thought Cam would be a flash in the pan just like those saying the same about Allen yes I would of preferred Allen who has basically the exact same scouting report to Cam. A;; this is based upon scouting reports and stats. I have not compared game tapes, so that could o changed my opinion. 22. Buffalo Carolina North Bills.. Yep once we made those 2 picks coupled with all the ex-Panthers we brought in it became pretty obvious. Hopefully it works out Also Cam newton was drafted in a year where the 2nd QB off the board was Jake Locker Heck If Cam and Allen were coming out of college at the same time I would of actually preferred Allen over Cam based on the fact Cam had only 1 year of production of being a QB in college. Actually he did not come into the NFL with a better college resume. Only 1 year or production.
  23. Nope Yes Beane was not here yet when a lot of it went down, which is where I am not correct on However i do not agree that somehow Sean was the driver of any of this, and this was just a long time coming and Sean was simply the 1st change.
  24. I corrected this because we do not know if he is. The elite talent is still to be determined. Everyone is in love with his measurable and everyone is wondering/hoping if he can be a franchise QB
