Coleman broke his hand 2x's.. not exactly an injury prone concern, just unfortunate luck. I am not worried about his injury history, more so about his ability to play the position at the NFL level and understand and execute Daboll's system. That being said.. McDermott and Beane are demonstrating the ability to find hidden gems and getting those players to play at a high level. At this point I don't see the bills going out of their way to find a 2nd speed guy.. Daboll will create mismatches for our 4.5 -> 5.0 guys so we don't need a bunch of 4.3 guys IMO, and then there is this whole debate about football speed vs timed speed.

I agree, and the offense was quite impressive in Daboll's debut.... but if the success comes as quick as you and I hope then I will be a nervous Nellie.. SO I hope at least with any immediate/short term success comes with the mindset of " I still have a job and goal to achieve 1st" Which is winning a superbowl.

Coin would not be an issues, what would be an issue, if they are very successful, is HC offers.

I was against both Allen (low comp % was my red flag) at draft time and Peterman after the that last throw in the playoffs (a soft ball on a short out almost INT'd). After camp reports and the 1st preseason game I'm over that and I am now looking for some consistency to see it if is truly for real or just an anomaly. Proof is always in the pudding. I was also very impressed with the 1st string OL and WR crew... but that had a lot to do with Peterman's quick release and timing that he had going for him.

QB play OL play WR Play for me.. I expect the D to be vanilla tonight, but I also expect them to be very good. The offense is a huge open question mark, and I need to see some positives outside of camp reports

Until any of our QB's prove to be capable in real action along side of our OL and WR's this is the treatment we will get.. Most of us feel the Defense is going to be solid, but no matter how awesome our D is if we are going 3 and out on Offense often our D will be gassed. So it all starts tonight and it really is almost all about the Offense and how it transitions from a starting QB trade, 3 OL 1 traded, 1 medically retired or 1 went off the rails on the crazy train, and our very unknown situation at WR

I agree... the last 3 practices has the media and the amatuer camp reporters clealry spelling out the catchable throws from Allen that have been dropped... I truly would like ot see Allen get more time with a better surrounding cast..... but they are going to stick to their plan of bringin him along slow.... That being said I would of bet the farm Peterman was odd man out before TC now I thing he's moving up fast to becoming the front runner. AJ is taking way too many sacks IMO.

what truth. The truth that we took a very low cost gamble on a former 1st rd pick that has a minor smudge or 2 on his record. Heck even the Zay Jones offseaosn thing was pretty much nothing in my book. These kids are 20 -22 years old. I can easily excuse an issue or 2, but when you become a Dareus well then we have reason to be more concerend about those issues. At this point its a low risk high reward gamble.. If it doesn't work out it still was worth trying, and a much better option than Erik Decker

It will be the next CBA sticking point IMO. There should be a base amount of guaranteed allowed then the rest should be incentive base. As much as the players need to be protected the franchises themselves will also require protections of some sort. The system will need to find middle ground

There's a reason why many old school posters are not posting here anymore. too many overly combative posters with strong opinions whom cannot tolerate or handle other persons opinions and make it personal. It wears on you. Some food for thought for a handful of ya's. Heck I got sucked into the over zealous negativity and combativeness..
