ddaryl replied to Keukasmallies's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
that's what advertising is for. but obviously that's not paying the bills anymore so the BN's will be out of business soon, and i say good riddance.. You should of listen to us when we told you your sports journalist were crap -

I have high hopes but its all for nothing if we're not hoisting a 5th superbowl trophy with in the next decade. No pressure McBeane just don't fail us or else !

Pegula kids firing back at Buffalo News
ddaryl replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I moved away in 97, but when I come back to visit I really feel the city is changing directions for the better, you would think that would show up in peoples overall attitudes. Negativity sells everywhere. I stopped watching all news, I could not tell you what is happening in the world or in politics. I gave up because of what you are saying.. TOO NEGATIVE. Negativity really brings out the idiocy of humanity. I have chosen willful ignorance in that regards. BUT Sports. Our one place ot escape the above mentioned.. I really have to meet the masses that pay for a extra dose of suck-a-tude -
I'm a fan of the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen just happens to be a QB on the Bills roster, therefore I am a fan of Josh Allen.

Watch: AJ McCarron "Highlights" from 2015
ddaryl replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watson was way ahead of the Allen coming out as well I felt the same way leading up to draft day. But the bottom line now is all I care about is that Allen develops and if that takes a year or 2 then I'm ok with it. We could of taken Rosen or skipped a 1st rd qb all together. That was never an option. So Allen it is and patience we must have. If -

Well we drafted a project. So if your above is what is expected then we drafted the worng guy. Allen needs to learn the pro game not be forced into it. if he devleps in a year or 2 that is fantastic, but by game 4 is a huge stretch IMO. Maybe the last 4 games of 2018 -

I just can not fathom that their finger in the wind journalism is making making them money. I know more people who stopped reading them for this then have joined on. -

BN is doing there typical round of "Buffalo Sports, Woe is me" at this point I can't even take anything they say sports wise serioulsy so I do not -
well I definitley do not feel like that "giving up" I do get a bit bitchy at times and cynical but it's fleeting. the Bills over acheived last year and I can see them over acheiving again this year. Got to like Coach McDermott, and him and Beane are on the same page. I really beleive McD puts players in position to suceed and exceed... I think he iwl do more with less again this year Sabres wil be shedding the dead weight vets this year and I have to beleive Bottterill is a much better GM than Murray was even though did have hopes for Murray. But Dahlin wil be huge because the one thing the Sabres lack is players who can carry the puck into the other teams zone and keep it there. Him and Guhle should chage how the Sabres play next year considerably Pegulas as new owners defintely had growing pains but there latest hires are much better. If the wheels come off 1/3 of the way into both seasons I'll go find other things to keep me occupy and look for fresh restart in 2019 as always. its jsut entertainment and I can keep it from consuming me somewhat

Combing through the negative Josh Allen Grades/Reviews
ddaryl replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is a classic boom or bust player or somewheres in between. Until he plays everything anyone says is just opinion. Personally I will start to make up my mind when I'm watching him actually play NFL games in preseason and then some... everyones is burning out on other peoples opinion on the matter -
Do we have the worst QB situation in the league?
ddaryl replied to Seanbillsfan2206's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

If you feel this way you could excuse yourself from the forums. I mean you want Buffalo out of the sports business all together than why waste everyones time here who do not share that thought. I don't care how pathetic Buffalo sports is or gets I am true blue till death The world is already negative enough... and yes I feel the pain, but if you have already given up all together don't be th eperson that has ot drag everyobody down with them please, and thank you

List of other Sub 60% college qbs with some NFL success
ddaryl replied to racketmaster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LMFAO... no reason for these posts anymore. The fact remains in the modern NFL QB who have thrown for less than 60% average in College have flamed out in the NFL at a MUCH higher rate. yes thee are anomalies but in the last 10 years the number of sub 60% QB's going on to have great careers is diminishing considerably. If you need to make yourself feel better about the Allen draft pick your just gonna have to wait it out like the rest of us and see if he can function on the field. That's all you can do because you can't change the reality and that is we got ourselves a project QB with high ceiling and a low floor
