That I did not know.. Yeah if you're not all in then you're not willing to give 100%. Most players just say anything you need me to do coach I'll do it

Its not about being drafted 10th its about having 3 QB's drafted before him and he felt he was better that they were. That's a competitor IMO... He dosen't want to be 2nd to anyone. I never saw an issue with any of that. I have to assume he was a just a horrible interview We will find out. If he implodes in Arizona then he'll get the pretentious label. If he turns into a NFL career QB it will be called confidence.

Best I can tell there was no real smoking gun regarding Rosens' character.. It was all a perception based. One must assume that he was a horrible interview if he could not put that perception to rest though. As for the St. Brown snub, To me that is just off the charts strange. I would view Notre Dame and speaking Multiple languages to positives, but I don't know where he was slotted ot be drafted ot begin with

Cam Newton scouting report compares to Josh Allen
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This thread is about scouting reports, and You've lost track of that and are now crusading because you don't like my opinion on it. My opinion isn't changing. If we are going by stats sheets and scouting reports I will take a 2 year performer over a QB who left one school went to a jr college then back to div 1 for 1 year of production worth noting. The scouting reports were almost identical If they were actually coming out at the same time I would reviewed lots of tape and made a more informed decision but this thread is about the scouting reports. I added stats in because it favored Allen IMO a sI do not like 1 year wonders at the QB position. Just my personal opinion not going to change either. -
Cam Newton scouting report compares to Josh Allen

I'm not a 1 year wonder guy which was the entire point. Shall we travel down the one year wonders road of those who got drafted early and busted out. -
Cam Newton scouting report compares to Josh Allen

http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?season=2011 2nd QB was Jake Locker @8 in 2011. Blaine was taken 10th If they came out at the same time I would of looked at Allen's resume compared to Cam's and would of preferred Allen. Not knowing what we know today. I'm talking to blank slates, 2 unknowns. Allen played on an inferior talented team but had multiple years of production. Cam switched schools and had 1 year of production. There wer plenty who thought Cam would be a flash in the pan just like those saying the same about Allen yes I would of preferred Allen who has basically the exact same scouting report to Cam. A;; this is based upon scouting reports and stats. I have not compared game tapes, so that could o changed my opinion. Cam Newton scouting report compares to Josh Allen
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buffalo Carolina North Bills.. Yep once we made those 2 picks coupled with all the ex-Panthers we brought in it became pretty obvious. Hopefully it works out Also Cam newton was drafted in a year where the 2nd QB off the board was Jake Locker Heck If Cam and Allen were coming out of college at the same time I would of actually preferred Allen over Cam based on the fact Cam had only 1 year of production of being a QB in college. Actually he did not come into the NFL with a better college resume. Only 1 year or production. -
I corrected this because we do not know if he is. The elite talent is still to be determined. Everyone is in love with his measurable and everyone is wondering/hoping if he can be a franchise QB

Auto-tuner sends shivers down my spine. I had to hit that mute fast Our DB should be solid though

Erie County Executive concerned about fan behavior
ddaryl replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sad part is most everyone is well behaved even if they had a few, but there are a bunch who are just over the top and in the end it will ruin for the rest. The jumping on flaming tables etc.. well that's just weird unnecessary behavior. Posting it online is sure to draw unwanted attention and will surely bring in changes that will eventually diminish the tail gating experience. I love the partying atmosphere, but you got to be able to handle your booze etc... and obviously some cannot -
There was not much going on before they let Whaley go. It was the much of the old FO and scouts they inherited. The recent moves are post Beane which only comes from the confidence the Pegula's had in the new GM / Coach. I can not recall too many significant changes before last off-season. So I am not sure why your confused

Rumour: Rosen and Mayfield were off the Bills' Board
ddaryl replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just my observation and opinion.. backed up by their never ending cycle of bringing in players that match what Carolina does on both sides of the ball. AND just because they say it means nothing. I've heard many coaches say things that never happened, They really didn't seem to make any adjustmetns to accomodate TT's strengths last year. Beane has gone on record saying preserving 2019 1st rd pick was most important. They would of never been able to trade up to 2 without offering 2019 1st rd pick -
What are your most valued traits in a QB???
ddaryl replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Accuracy which encompasses both Timing, decision making. to me that the MOST important. Other traits are very needed but if I am choosing one its Accuracy -
Diddling little boys is also a christian value. So is televagelism etc.. Very ugly values IMO. Please tell me McDermott is not a bigott, because I am constatly reading form posters how he chose this guy or that because of their Christian values.

Rumour: Rosen and Mayfield were off the Bills' Board
ddaryl replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean if it works more power to us.. However it does happen to have me questioning the dynamics of our coaching staff. You have to be able to adjust regulalry to the game.. SO these ocnstant parallels to Carolina just make we wonder can they do something besides be Carolina North -
Rumour: Rosen and Mayfield were off the Bills' Board
ddaryl replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what ? Just my opinion ..... Its what I have been feeling since we started briging up ex Carolina Pantehr after ex-carolna panther, and was cemented with picking Allen and dropping Mayfield off the board. I Maybe, but I still see way too much paralells to Carolina. I'm sure thee will be tweaks to the O design but it sure feels like we are very much Carolina North with the way this team is being built -
Rumour: Rosen and Mayfield were off the Bills' Board
ddaryl replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Baker Mayfield being off the board screams what I already have figured out. We are going to be Carolina Panthers north. Baker can't run a similiar offense that Cam is running. I believe the bills didn't rate him low they just couldn't design an offense for Mayfield because they do not know how or feel condfident they could, so off the baord he went This makes me a little nerovous because it kinda saying to me, that our coaches don't have that much ability to design a offense around different styes of QB's. I would like to feel confident that our OC and McD could go any direction whenver they need to but ob vioulsy this is not the case In the ase of Rosen I can see the concern that he is not a process guy However if it ever becomes a "faith" reasoning why we don't pick someone up I will be repulsed. Faith should never come up, that is a personal journey one that does not have to be shared with anyone or expected from anyone -
Why the Allen project may be different
ddaryl replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
for me its been here seen it and not putitng my chips in early this time. Yeah I see some things to like, but anyone can do that with any QB if they want ot find those things.. So we just sit back wait and see. -
Why the Allen project may be different
ddaryl replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it looks like people are having to convince themsleves that this time will be different. so many of these long winded threads looknig for kernels of reasons to believe I will simply wait for the baby... My expectaions are low at this point, but only based upon history... -
Apologies to Doug Marrone as we learn more about the environment
