Chiefs v Broncos (Eagles v Cowboys page 23)

Watching the Chiefs drive down the field with little resistance from Denver is pretty sickening. -
Any other degenerates sign up for NYS On line betting?
Albany,n.y. replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Fortunately for the bettors, it's not like horse racing where the more the state takes, the lower the bet payoff. The bettors get the same odds no matter how much the state takes. So it's a risk for the betting companies. I guess they figure having a high profile state like NY is better than not even if they lose some money here. -
Any other degenerates sign up for NYS On line betting?
Albany,n.y. replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I wagered at different times. So the 1st bet $ came out of cash & the 2nd bet cleaned out the cash but I still had $ left in the bonus column. It was only when I realized that I have to bet the bonus $ within 30 days & since I only bet on football, and with the season ending, I bet the Bills game because I know that although the rain/snow may stop by game time, there will still be over 20 MPH winds If I didn't have to bet the bonus $ within 30 days, I wouldn't have bet it, but it's bet it or lose it. -
Any other degenerates sign up for NYS On line betting?

I put in $1,000. My account showed $1,000 cash, $1,300 bonus. The bonus $ has to be bet within 30 days otherwise you lose it. I then bet $50 & it was taken out of cash. I then bet $1,300 & the remainig $950 cash went to $0 and the bonus $ went from $1,300 to $950. Since I had to bet the $950 bonus I bet on a low scoring Bills game due to the anticipated lousy weather and bet the Jets -16 $450 and the under 40.5 $500. At this point I'm not sure if the bonus bets will be put into the cash or bonus side. I hope it doesn't go into the bonus side. I'll know more if/when I get paid. Fanduel has an offer where your 1st bet is free up to $1,000. So far I think Caesars is the best. FANDUEL: GET YOUR FIRST BET RISK FREE UP TO $1,000 BACK IF YOU DON’T WIN -
I signed up for Carsars & got a $300 signing bonus & a deposit match. My 1st bet was WFT -7 over NYG. I'm betting against our boy, Jake Fromm who was never put in last week even when Glennon was horrible. Now Glennon is out & it's time for Jake to come on down. A repeat of his debut as a starter is all I need to cash. Also there might be some Giants who would love to get trounced & get Joe Judge fired. Shades of Hank Bullough's final game where Bruce Smith told his teammates not to make any tackles.

This is a lot like when Dan Marino's & Jim Kelly's stats were compared. Marino looked better on paper but Kelly was the one winning the AFC over Marino every time. The only time Marino won the AFC was when Kelly was in the USFL. The inconsitencies have been due to all the O-line shuffling. How many of the other QBs have had to put up with that this season? Every time the line has looked set someone either gets hurt, gets Covid or both. Then Cody Ford comes in and does his turnstile imitation.

Giants GM Dave Gettleman to retire on Monday

Then there are those fans who were crying in their beer when we didn't draft Josh Rosen. -
Giants GM Dave Gettleman to retire on Monday
Albany,n.y. replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
They will still keep Jones around in 2022 even if they decline his 5th year option. The earliest Jones would be available is 2023. They should let the new GM decide Judge's future & if he has a brain he'll fire Judge immediately if the team hasn't already done so. Here's a story I found on Twitter: Before the Giants cut Isaiah Wilson he had a huge argument with Joe Judge in front of the team. Judge accused Wilson of quitting on his teammates. Wilson replied “everyone here dead-ass quit weeks ago you dumb motherf***er”. Everyone was shocked, Wilson was cut shortly after. Trading for Russell Wilson at this stage of his career on a rebuilding team would be a disaster for everyone. Wilson needs to go to a team that is a QB away from contention and that isn't the NYG. -
Questions Surrounding a New Stadium in OP .
Albany,n.y. replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the business world there are many cases where the party that owns the land enters a land lease with a tenant who then builds a structure on it for the tenant's use. At the end of the lease everything on the property belongs to the owner. Erie County owns everytthing right now. If the Pegulas were to do a land lease, they would be responsible for building their own facility and would own it until the lease expired. Then it would revert to Erie County. -
Questions Surrounding a New Stadium in OP .
Albany,n.y. replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering that the new stadium will be built while they're still playing in the old one, I doubt that they'll be salvaging old stuff from the old stadium & putting it in the new one. More likely they'll try to sell some stuff to a much smaller venue, like a college or high school. They may take some of the stuff & sell it as souvenirs like they've done in other places with stadium seats etc. -
More evidence QB rating is the most useless stat in all of sports. When you cite a stat that says Rob Johnson was a better Bills QB than Jim Kelly, you lose me.

Gregg wasn't anywhere near the worst coaching hires. Jim Ringo, Harvey Johnson & my all time favorite for worst coaching hire ever, Hank Bullough, make Gregg look competent. Honorable mention to John Rauch as another worse than Gregg.

538 analysis: Bills underperformed with schedule set up to dominate
Albany,n.y. replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
I bet the Chargers over/unders. I bet over 9 & have a push on that one & can win it if they win on Sunday so I'll be rooting big time for the Chargers vs the Raiders. Then I got greedy because the odds were +190 and bet over 10.5 wins on LAC. I lost that when they couldn't beat Houston. The best I can do is limit my loses to 25% of the total I bet on the LAC since I bet more on over 10.5. I can still make money on my futures if the Bills win the AFC. I bet them at +550. If they win the AFC I will more than double my original future bet wagers. -
If Philly can get a conditional 1st (now definitely a 1st) and a 3rd round pick for Carson Wentz who was signed for 4 more years at over $80 million, the Browns can get more than peanuts & popcorn for Mayfield. They also won't be returning Alice Cooper's boots if they get delivered to FirstEnergy Stadium by mistake.

NFL looking at AT&T Stadium as a backup plan for the Super Bowl
Albany,n.y. replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
Flights & motels are cheaper in Dallas. I'm already looking at alternative plans if they move the game. The Bills WILL be there. -
I want to be alive & physically able to attend a game there, the other stuff doesn't matter too much.

Crazy fan sues Giants & Jets for calling themselves NY teams
Albany,n.y. replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
When I lived in Long Island in the 1980s I drove to a few games at the old Giants Stadium. Sometimes I drove through Manhattan to get there. Manhattan is very close to East Rutherford via the Lincoln Tunnel. If the clown owned a car it wouldn't take him very long to get to Met-Life. They're probably going to counter sue him for their legal fees. The guy will owe the Giants & Jets thousands when he's done, -

Los Angeles Lakers. The lakes are in Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes. Where are all the lakes in LA? -
They just talked about it on WGR, so I looked it up and found this story: https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-giants-jets-new-jersey-fan-lawsuit-20220105-md7uxrsvmzb5djnlwexshvyzb4-story.html This could lead to a Buffalonian suing the Bills for playing in Orchard Park. the WFT for playing in Maryland & the SF 49ers for playing in Santa Clara.

Wonderlic Test Eliminated from Pre-Draft Process
Albany,n.y. replied to Wayne Cubed's topic in The Stadium Wall
As I stated above, in this era the agents prepare their clients for the Wonderlic before they take the test. In the early 1980s the agents weren't doing that. -
Wonderlic Test Eliminated from Pre-Draft Process
Albany,n.y. replied to Wayne Cubed's topic in The Stadium Wall
I read this speculation on why Lamar Jackson scored so much lower than the other QBs of his class: No agent. It seems the agents coach the players up to the Wonderlic to the point that it no longer means anything. A prime example is when JP Losman took it the 1st time he got a 14 and then after being coached up by his agent &/or others he got a 31. They've also limited offensive questions, so you can no longer ask a potential draftee "Have you ever sucked a ####? " -
This is the best year ever for Bills games on home TV in Albany. We ended up with 14 games on home TV. Now we just need to get a radio station to broadcast the Bills games. Years ago we were on the radio in Albany & then we lost them during the drought years. Back then I'd go to a sports bar with a radio and the broadcast would be ahead of the TV in the bar and I'd know the plays before they were on TV. The same thing happens this time in reverse for me when the game is on in Albany & NYC. Petrino calls me from Beacon during games when the game is on on NYC and the NY broadcast is always a little bit ahead of the Albany broadcast, so he'll say TD before I see it. Good thing I'm not someone who hates knowing the ending of things they're watching before the end.
