Last time the bills played on my birthday!
Albany,n.y. replied to BruceVilanch's topic in The Stadium Wall
Happy Birthday! I've been to 3 Bills games on my birthday. The 1st was in 1982. The strike had just ended and I was leaving Buffalo in December, so it was significant because it was not only my birthday, but my last Bills home game as a WNY resident. I've also been to Bills games on my birthday in 1993 & 2004. -
USFL-XFL merge; become UFL w/USFL and XFL divisions

I'm allergic to foliage, I only get a haircut once every 2-3 months in the middle of the week when no games are on, the car dealer changes my oil once a year, I cut my nails in the morning out of the shower when no games are on, no dog, etc. I watch it once in a while to see what may be future NFL players. The Dallas Cowboys got their kicker from the USFL. Years ago I went to a UFL game in Connecticut just to see what it's like. It was fun. -
Report: Dolphins RB Mostert OUT at Ravens
Albany,n.y. replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can't wait to watch the next 2 episodes of Hard Knocks to see the Dolphins melt down with 2 straight losses & hear McDaniel set the record for the most times saying the F word in one TV hour. -
Throwing him short passes that he drops?

Is it time to put out an Amber Alert on Dalton Kincaid?

We'll win the Super Bowl & someone will complain they lost all their prop bets & blame the players who didn't attain the yards they needed. -
They need to elevate their game to beat Miami.

Logically, your statement makes a lot of sense, but last year I made the same case for Shanahan, who went from Lance to Garoppolo to rookie Mr Irrelevant Purdy and they gave it to Daboll. So, with that in mind, while Stefanski looks like the obvious choice, to me, the obvious choice last year was beaten out by the NYC media darling, so it's hard for me to trust the voters' judgement. They might just give it to Saleh for surviving the season with his job😃. When Rosen with Atlanta, there was a story how he changed his attitude & was being mentored by Rich Gannon. Sounds very similar to Wilson being mentored by Rodgers.

After Daboll won over Shanahan who won more games with a rookie Mr Irrelevant last year I'm not about to crown anyone coach of the year yet. The other candidates are Campbell, McVay, Harbaugh, McDaniel (who we can knock out by winning the division) and if he can overcome all the adversity of this season & end up with the #2 seed, our own Sean McDermott.

I have Verizon Fios and in Albany that would mean no CW and more important, no CBS. However I have the TV in my bedroom hooked up to an antenna so all it means is instead of watching on my main TV in the living room, I'll go watch it in my bedroom by simply changing the input from cable to TV. Everyone with some form of cable should have at least one TV in the house set up to switch to over the air channels. It's so simple even a mancaveman can do it.

I'm going out on a limb here: Elam will have an interception in the Super Bowl.

The coach doesn't want him starting next year. He wants to have a younger QB room that Payton can groom the way he wants them to play. Russ is too set in his ways for Payton and Payton may be too set in his ways for Russ.
-
Not with his current contract. Nobody is trading for him unless he agrees to a massive pay cut.
-
There are 6 teams ahead of them vying for 3 spots. They are hardly "very much alive" for the playoffs.
-
Screw regular season MVP. I'll take Super Bowl MVP instead.

It worked so well with Dallas this week. I'd rather see Baltimore win & put themselves in position to clinch the #1 seed next week vs Miami. They'll be plenty hungry to get Cleveland & Miami off their backs if they win tonight & set up the clincher next week. They win this week & next & it renders the season finale meaningless, and they can rest their players if they want. That makes a win vs Miami MORE meaningful to them.
-
It doesn't put the #1 seed in play for the Bills because if Baltimore doesn't win next week & clinch #1, the Dolphins win the division & we're a wild card.

They showed her clips at the end of the game, one of them consoling Mrs Kermit.

Davis should have a multi year contract waiting for Antonio Pierce in the locker room right after the game.
