  1. It depends on how he does tonight.
  2. They show the entire game. The game is scheduled to end at 7.
  3. You're right that it would be a huge mistake putting Allen with the 2's today START HIM!!! Realistically, why do you think he's been practicing with the 2s? Most likely he comes in 2nd, but I want him to start even though all evidence says he'll be 2nd man in.
  4. Whitten just showed he knows nothing about the Bills. He said he was surprised that the Bills traded Tyrod Taylor. I think the only people around here that were surprised that the Bills traded Taylor were surprised by the fact he was tradable, not that the Bills jettisoned him. Jason Whitten is a raw rookie announcer who needs to watch without a microphone when the preseason ends & learn from the veterans. ?
  5. Tyrodian performance without the QB runs for yardage.
  6. My top contender for 1st firing is Dirk Koetter in Tampa, especially with the Winston suspension. I don't think Jackson will be fired until after the season because hiring either of his 2 coordinators as interim HC would cause a full scale locker room revolt & Gregg would need a bodyguard if he was chosen . My top candiates after Koetter & Jackson, who is being exposed on Hard Knocks as proving the Raiders smart for dumping him when at the time it appeared too soon, are: Adam Gase-he needs a winning season to make it to 2019 Todd Bowles-too many gameday mistakes will not be forgiven. I think the Jets will be looking for a QB whisperer to develop Darnold long term. Jay Gruden-how many mediocre seasons can this guy survive? My final hot seat guy is someone nobody has on their list yet-Matt Patricia. The reason I included him is that after he was hired, it was revealed that he was accused of a sexual assault years ago. Now he was never charged & has claimed innocence, but if Detroit fails to make the playoffs again they may use it as an excuse to make him a one & done HC.
  7. NFL-No. However, he might get a shot in the new league (Alliance of American Football) if it lasts long enough to fire a coach or 2. They've got some interesting names coaching those teams, the old ball coach Steve Spurrier & Mike Martz are among them.
  8. I wish I could remember that day so well. I looked up that day & saw it was a 4:05 game, so I checked out the Jets boxscore to make it look real. The Jets really did dominate Carolina that day. With the exceptions of the times & the commercial, most of that probably happened since I usually do eat a frozen personal pizza before watching the 1:00 game.
  9. The article was going along well until the writer said EJ beat out Kolb. Kolb got a career ending concussion in preseason & was on IR before September. That's not getting beat out by EJ, that's getting beat up & out of the NFL.
  10. Yep. You didn't have a camera in my old apt. did you, because I can't figure out how else you would have known about the banana bread at 11:37. I'm glad I moved out of there. I hope for your sake some hot young lady moved in and made watching the old apt a lot more appealing than watching me bake banana bread.
  11. It was a Red Baron frozen pizza that I microwaved.
  12. Considering the Over/Under for Brows wins in 2018 is 5.5 (I've seen some at 4.5), bookies will gladly book it for you. As far as tonight's episode goes, instead of sending Gregg throat lozenges, he needs Preparation H for his entire being.
  13. It's the same way O.J. Simpson's name is properly pronounced. It's a soft O & a hard J, not the other way around.
  14. Starting in 2006 for three and a half years, some guy stood motionless on the Bills sideline and people thought he was the Bills head coach. It took until late into the 2009 season before someone got wind of it & removed him from the sidelines.
  15. I had some problems today using Chrome, then tried it in Edge & it worked fine. If you're having problems in Chrome, try a different browser. I just tried it now & when it was spinning I left clicked on the play radio/stop radio and it stopped spinning & is playing.
  16. I remember every minute of that day. I woke up at 10:17 AM that morning, ate a bagel with orange juice for breakfast, then went into the bathroom & showered, then got dressed & put on a Bills sweatshirt. For lunch I ate a personal pizza with a 20 oz. bottle of Coke. I turned on the TV and watched the Jets dominate Carolina and at 4 I switched to the Bills game at NE. I remember every play & every commercial. I especially liked a local commercial for a car dealer where the owner dressed up like a chicken and I yelled at the screen "You look just like Pete Carroll" as I mocked the then-Patriots head coach. Then came the hail mary and I was cursing at the TV. I then ate dinner & watched TV before going to sleep at 11:37 PM.
  17. This is the best answer I've seen yet as to why we didn't take Watson or Mahomes in 2017. The real irony is that if Rex Ryan hadn't been fired, he would have pushed hard for Watson considering Rex's ties to Clemson.
  18. Camp arm. He will never make the Eagles.
  19. Now available at NFL.com. Go to the bottom of the home page, hit Media Info, the book is on the 2nd line on the left side. Here's a link, It should work if your device can handle a big file: http://www.nfl.com/static/content/public/photo/2018/08/09/0ap3000000946101.pdf
  20. Good. Allen needs to insult you after all the insults you've thrown at him.
  21. But he'll finish the Super Bowl in victory formation in 2-3 years.
  22. The only thing other than his name that I want to hear Allen called is Super Bowl Champion.
  23. Keep all 3 this year. Start Allen in the 2nd half of the season & evaluate after the season is over. If Allen plays well enough to be the unquestioned starter, then you trade 1 of the 2 , 2nd stringers, but only for something of value. If you can't get something decent, keep all three in 2019. If Allen hasn't earned the starters job by the end of this season, nobody gets traded.
  24. I've done plenty of games alone. I'm going to my 3rd game in Baltimore alone on opening day. Most of the road games I go to I'm alone. I've also done road games alone in Philadelphia (2) and New England (a few, some I've gone with others, some alone). I've been to 6 Super Bowls, 2 of them I was alone at. ( XXV in Tampa & the Denver/Seattle game in NJ where I drove down the day of the game). The more expensive the game/trip, the more likely I can't get anyone to go with me. I gave up my seasons a few years ago because I couldn't get Petrino to go to more than 2-3 games a year & I didn't like being alone for more than half the home games, but a road game once in a while is still OK.
