Losses don't really matter without Allen playing. At some point, I'm sure the players on the team realize that too. We are just moving towards higher draft position next year. I just wish they were more competitive in their loss. This is the rebuild year we all expected last year to be.

As much as it pains me to say this, I can't see how a win with Anderson at QB helps us. We are not a playoff team and wins with Anderson will only result in lower draft position next year. Hopefully Zay continues to show development. Colts 20 - Bills 17.

I love the defense and depth they have there. Hopefully they can put a strong focus on improving the offense in the upcoming off season. McDermott knows defense. Hopefully he can be as successful with the offense next year.

How we got here is the last 2 drafts, most of the premium picks, outside of Allen have been spent on the defensive side of the ball. I also think the defensive players adjust more quickly to the NFL game than the offensive players. Zay is just starting to produce. Allen is raw. Dawkins has been solid. Peterman is a hot mess. Other than Benjamin, the emphasis in free agency has also been on the defensive side of the ball. McDermott clearly knows how to build a defense. Can he build an offense? That has yet to be determined.

I always wondered about this too. For someone who obsesses over his craft as much as I'm sure he does, there must be a reason for this. I always assumed that it was for balance, like the way a cheetah uses their tail when chasing an antelope. I never thought about the bait theory but that makes sense too. I don't know of any other RB who does this. Whatever it is, to be able to do that and not be a fumbler is just crazy.

Relax and go to bed. Yes, it was bad, but no reason to start over now. Hopefully they learn and move forward.

Good summary. Dabols game plan seemed have no quick slants or screens. As you say, his last game was great. This game plan was a dud with no apparent adjustments during the game.

Today, Allen seemed to be playing freely without thinking. I'm amazed at how composed he is out there. Last week, home game with all eyes on him, he seemed to be thinking and aiming his passes instead of just letting it fly. Dabol got his mind in the right place with his play calls in the 1st half. Looking forward to next week.

On point 5 - I thought Edmunds made the hit that caused the receiver to fumble and lead to Milano's INT. Need to see the replay though.

Need to reign in the crazy stuff like the hurdle but keep the aggressiveness in passing the ball. He definitely looks like he belongs out there on Sundays.

The one good thing about Allen is that he is young and raw. That means he has a chance to develop better skills with proper coaching. Time will tell.
