It could be that the human wave tactics on DL is having the effect of freeing up Oliver. Absolute monster game. Will be fun watching him against lesser QB/OL combinations
Plus the whole video analytics to determine if the ball was past the line, but still letting the smooth brain refs place the ball is exactly backwards. Place the ball with computer vision then bring out the chain gang.
It's a matter of time before we're doing all officiating that way, and just let the refs announce the calls
Our D is terrible. I sure hope Beane drafts all D in the draft next year! After all, statistical probability suggests he’ll eventually hit on a draft pick
Funny, I don’t remember our drought era defenses being THIS bad. We spend our entire draft AGAIN on defense and our defense actually gets worse?
Thanks to McD for getting us back into the playoffs but he’s not the guy to get to the next step. Outcoached every step of the way.
I was at this game. was sitting in endzone seats, maybe 10 rows up, got absolutely clocked in the head with a full beer can that someone had thrown from above. My father was like that's it, we're done, and we left.
tbf, I do think setting young men with more money then they ever imagined they would have, in Miami, is a recipe for disaster. Of all places custom designed to entice young men into bad decisions, Miami is at the very top of the list
The more fragmented they make the games in terms of streaming platforms, the more illegal streams we're going to see. I can afford as many of these services as they want to throw at me, but I'm not going to buy anything outside the Season Ticket on principle. What I expect the bean counters at the NFL don't understand is that with ubiquitous cloud computing platforms that can be spun up and turned off in moments with essentially infinite capacity, it'll be as successful as the war on drugs trying to stop it
I still have faith in the team for the season but it's going to be a rough start. We'll see if our defensive genius coach can put together a starting lineup and gameplan
I said it would require superman josh, not that we would get it. I agree that it's not a great matchup rn bc our defense is both banged up and not all that great to start with
It's not like we're choosing between Gabe Davis and Megatron for our PS/4/5 receiver. I'm happy with this. Given that this already looks like an injury season, i'm glad to have someone that is at least familiar with Josh and capable of big plays
