  1. I'd have settled for 'pro'
  2. I think that was true earlier in the season. the Bills are chumps now, nobody is afraid of them. play cover 2 deep, and get pressure with 4, hold bills to 10 points or less. Don't worry though, McBeane will draft some tweener DL in teh high rounds next year
  3. Playing the nickle when there was zero chance of a pass was definitely 12th dimensional chess. Cheers to Frazier. Next week his plan is to play defensive backfield players, 0-0-11. Tampa wont be expecting it!
  4. Yeah but the DL ROTATION did you even see them dominating the trenches last night? If we didn't have the most expensive DL in the league, NE might have run right over us!
  5. We're not the more talented team. Let's go on and admit that. Outside of Allen & Diggs, I'm not sure there's another player on the Bills roster I'd take over their counterpart in NE. Of course, most of our players would be the best version of themselves on NE so there's always that i guess
  6. blocking Judon. think about that for a second. This coaching staff is so in love with their own ideas that they absolutely ignore the matchups and assume that we can scheme anyone into position and it'll just work. REmember last year when we were all worried that Daboll was going to get a HC gig somewhere? What's the opposite of dodging a bullet? Thanks Doc, for your armchair analysis. This team is soft, that's a hard fact. They've gotten manhandled 5 times now. They're built to beat up on bad teams (except the jags, lol) and get smoked by physical teams. We all had hoped that Josh could do heroball at the end of the game, but given how the Pats had dominated our OL all game, there really wasnt any chance of it.
  7. Echoing the comments here, Tampa is a physically tough team with good coaching and the GOAT at QB. The Bills simply aren't built to beat this sort of team. We're built to beat KC, just as the league seems to be going back to 'run and stop the run'. Well played, Bills Brass. Last night sucked and I'm going to disengage for a while because it felt way too much like a drought type game. If the Bills can win 2 games in a row i might tune in again but not expecting that. Everyone sees how to beat the Bills now so we're going to get the ball rammed down our throats, and we're utterly powerless to stop it. That sure was some good D, not putting in extra DL until the 4th quarter. Our coaches, O, D, and head coach, all suck on gameday. It's this, really. We've never had an answer for Brady, and I have far less confidence in this Bills team than I even did in the barnyard explosion teams that Sexy Rexy put on the field. Hopefully they call the mercy rule on this one after the Bucs get a 30 point lead
  8. extremely meta
  9. Agreed. I'm in NYC for work a lot, i've found that Curb (which is for the Yellow city licensed taxis) is a good alternative. Even without an app like Curb, it's helpful to remember that you can use that very same phone to call a regular taxi in most places
  10. Indeed, i suggest you google 'surge pricing'
  11. I expect the Bills to win on Monday, maybe bigly, but I also think Mac Jones could very well be their long term QB. People saying that Tua Tagovailoa and Josh Allen would be the long term AFCE rivalry had the wrong Alabama QB. Tua may still turn out to be adequate, maybe even good, but my money would be on MJ being the guy between the two of them
  12. I mean, to this point, pretty clearly he should have been the first QB taken. As I've mentioned I'm an Alabama alum and fan. Sure, he had NFL talent around him last year, but he still made decisions and the throws. He's not going to terrify anyone with his long ball, but he will absolutely dink and dunk you to death and has an adequate middle game
  13. Middling team from the south comes to Buffalo and runs for 329 yards against critically acclaimed Bills D. Cam Newton goes 3 for 8 for 17 yards for the win
  14. Yup. The magical passing Offenses may have been a moment in time. We've seen it before. Houston & ATlanta in the early 90s are a couple I can think of off the top of my head, but the glory era bills always had a very balanced attack, not to mention none of the 3 stooges we have at RB today are fit to hold TT's jock
  15. yeah, i mean, he was basing it on watching the Bills go from world beaters to chumps in the space of a few games. If you don't think there's a problem, then keep that spirit alive
  16. I don't care what anyone says, this game is a must win, and is going to tell us what we need to know about this team. Anything other than a high energy performance with minimal mistakes and winning by at least 10, and I believe the die is cast
  17. It's a good thing we're not up against a strong running team again! oh wait
  18. What, you dont think they would have spend the #7 pick well? Im sure there was a high motor tweener DE available there, just imagine the rotation! we would be neigh unstoppable
  19. yeah i was going to say 'but the texans suck' then i had a rare moment of self reflection and decided not to
  20. To the OP's point though, the Bills did get some bounces last year, and we're not getting them this year. Add to that the one dimensional O, and it's a recipe for losing close games. If there was only some solution!
  21. if the queen had balls she'd be the king
  22. Lol. Like he's designing run plays to fail so he can say i told you so now let me get back to having josh throw into triple coverage
  23. How many more times are we going to get to watch Moss slowly approach the line and gently bounce backwards off whichever OL is in front of him?
  24. Oh God let's hope it doesnt turn into the same kind of situation that led to Wade Phillips leaving. I doubt the Pegulas force McD's hand but the entire coaching staff and leadership seem married to their own ideas and unable/unwilling to adjust Nobody is looking at Daboll as a HC now. He's a one trick pony. If you can't make his gimmick work with Josh Allen, i'm not sure there's any QB that can be successful with it beyond a flash in the pan like the Bills had last year
  25. Based on video evidence, I'd say that the strategy was to wear Taylor out by letting him run windsprints up and down the field you asked for sarcastic takes.
