  1. But the Bills are about to trade Cook to the Cowboys. Or at least they are in the fantasy world of Pro Football Network rumor-maker Brandon Austin.
  2. That story is less than a rumor. It's source is an article entitled "1 Trade Target for Every NFL Team" and it's pure speculation. At the same level as Teller to KC is Jameson Williams to the Bills. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/1-trade-target-every-nfl-team-2025/
  3. He acts like most people don't already have subscriptions to most of those services. I already have Alta Fiber (cable), Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock, and ESPN+.The only thing I have to subscribe to is Sunday Ticket and I can get the student rate. Talking about the price of services that stream games as if the only reason that people subscribe to them is to watch football is like including the price of buying a car in your calculations of the costs to drive to Chicago. Sure, if I didn't have a car it would cost around $20,050 to drive there, but because I have the car for other purposes, the drive costs a tank of gas.
  4. Hoyer in SF. 2017 was the Cutler year in Miami
  5. #1 rule of TBD; if any national media source says something positive about the Bills, it must be swiftly refuted. It cannot stand!
  6. Does Brandon Beane have a crystal ball? How was he to know that the Eagles would make one of the biggest draft errors by picking Reagor before Jefferson?
  7. I'm a fan and I wanted to believe that our second-best offensive player was going to continue playing for our team. So yes, I did bury my head in the sand. My head is currently buried in 10 feet of sand about the issues surrounding James Cook, but at least I'm self-aware.
  8. Nothing ever changes "The human understanding when it has once adopted an opinion (either as being the received opinion or as being agreeable to itself) draws all things else to support and agree with it." Sir Francis Bacon, Novum Organum, 1620.
  9. I love this song. It's a bit old (2021), but I really like it. ]
  10. Ah, the yearly offseason “how we became fans” thread. I, like a lot of you I suspect, became a Bills fans when my father (RIP) hung a Bills and Sabres pennant above my crib in January, 1974. The two teams are all that ties me to my hometown. Strangely, both of my kids are Bills fans even though they grew up in Cincinnati.
  11. Hard Knocks needs TC fights, and joint practices usually produce at least a few.
  12. If I had a third child (impossible because my wife is menopausal and I've had the cut), I would name him or her Nesmith.
  13. No need to ban the play. Just tell the refs to call the false start that happens EVERY TIME the Eagles run that play. Problem solved.
  14. Just like Cincinnati, Houston is banking on a coodinator being the sole cause of an underperforming unit.
  15. They weren't lovable losers. They were just losers in a mostly empty stadium. I should know. I went to a lot of games back then as a kid because people just kept giving us tickets.
  16. The crazy thing is that they only unreasonable thing there is the road win at CIN. So 11-6 is possible for the Pats. That assumes that Maye is the real deal and that all of their FA signing have career years (unlikely, but possible).
  17. Except he lost a MOUNTAIN of money by pulling the crap he did here. He bet on himself and lost.
  18. This guy? (the video is 3:20 of Collinsworth glazing Mahomes in the 23-24 season).
  19. You would rather have Collinsworth and Aikman?
  20. How am I already nervous about a game that won't happen for 3 1/2 months?
  21. That's kind of cool. The first regular season game at Rich was against the Jets and the final regular season game at Highmark will be against the Jets. Bookends
  22. Nobody said Myles Garrett is too old to be paid, but Hendrickson is almost exactly one year older than Myles Garrett. Hendrickson led the league in sacks last season and was pretty much the Bengals only player on defense. Do people rate Garrett higher due to his draft position?
