  1. They had more handoffs to RBs yesterday than they did passing attempts. Also, on Josh's two rushing TDs yesterday: RPO, a play that every team in the NFL runs now. Not a designed run, but the field opened up and he took the green space. He went through his full progression. Stop listening to Cowherd. He only watches highlights from the broadcast angle. Instead, get NFL+ to get the all-22 and see for yourself.
  2. And its the same for both teams.
  3. Exactly. Keon doesn't come wide open until Josh is winding up to throw. Those were clear-out routes. They worked. Josh just made a bad throw.
  4. Hey Edna! That bass isn't plugged in.
  5. Imagine the type of people who have time to call in and wait on hold for 40 minutes on a Monday morning and you'll have your answer.
  6. Interesting. What I want to talk about is that the Bills scored a TD on a WR screen to Shakir, who made an incredibly athletic play at the end to get into the EZ. According to everyone, the Bills are not supposed to be able to do any of that.
  7. Well, when you put it like that.... For real, that is even worse than it looked from the broadcast angle.
  8. Sorry to say, but that is what comes with playing with the Jets or Giants. It doesn't make it right, but those fans will not endure any kind of drought especially when it looks like the Jets will be good. Sports fandom in the Tri-State area is a combat sport and these guys are taking shots from Jets fans left and right.
  9. This game is good
  10. Of course, I'm concerned. I'm concerned about every game.
  11. I’m here at Kings island today. There are a lot of really sad Bengals fans.
  12. I don’t think I’ve ever hate watched a color guy, but Brady just might make me do it.
  13. This too. I try not to take too much out of a week 1 loss, but it’s hard not to freak out.
  14. I hate week 1 because you never know what to expect. Every year some team is a lot better than they were the year before. That could be the Cards.
  15. I’m 50, but I probably didn’t start paying attention until I was 5, so it’s 45 years for me.
  16. And you chose 7 because Reid was in his 7th year in KC when he won the first one.
  17. If you're not watching the ND game, turn it on now.
  18. That's the most important thing. Every Friday, Joe Brady should call Nick Wright to see what amount of production Coleman would have to have to get him to admit that the Bills were right and then base his game plan around that. He also should have a weekly thread on Gang Green and Fin Heaven to ask what the Bills would have to do for them to stop harassing Bills fans on social media and then make sure that it happens.
  19. Wasting three years on the EJ Manuel draft pick.
  20. That's it. I'm off to withdraw all your money and buy out the world's supply of blue cheese dressing.
  21. Since I have been all over this board with negative takes for the past week or so (which is not my usual practice), I thought that I would add something positive. People keep talking about a lack of speed on this team, but Curtis Samuel ran a 4.31 at the combine. I know that was 7 years ago, but when you watch him play he still runs past DBs. In our game against Washington, he ran right past Benford: I believe that Joe Brady asked for him specifically and has plans on how to use him. I'm pretty excited to see how that works out.
  22. 5-12 was a hot take. But the Bills are seen as a team that got worse. Other teams got better or are getting a QB back from injury. The story of the Bills offseason was the loss of Diggs, a player that is still seen as a superstar outside of Buffalo. Then they replace him (and Gabe) with two vets who have done little in the league and drafted a guy that some draftniks had as a third-rounder. This is the narrative, which I know has little basis in reality but it's what drives 5-12 hot takes. I never said that I agree with it. I think this is a 9 to 11-win team. If Keon breaks out, perhaps even 12 or 13. But the league-wide opinion is that the Bills take a big step back this year. I mean, look at the JV broadcast team that we're getting for the opener, which is only on in WNY, AZ, and Oklahoma. FWIW, I think the biggest loss this offseason is Morse's leadership and steady hand at C.
  23. I have to amend this statement after last night’s game. They get to the 25 is they field it in that 20-yard zone. If they’re dumb enough to return a kick from the EZ, then all bets are off.
