  1. Movie quote? but from where?
  2. What worries me the most about JP is the inconsistency shown after a negative play. He has to develop a short term memory about those bad plays and not let them get to him and his teammates. I think accuracy will improve with playing time.
  3. You can also take a close look at the Raiders, that like the Jets, walked similar paths with their selection of Gallery and Grove in the 2004 draft class. Like Ferguson and Mangold, they were can't miss projects and they've been in the league for two years. The only thing I know about the Raiders is that Gallery struggled in his rookie year at LT and was moved to RT. I can't recall much about Grove.
  4. Can we rent his services this year with a buying option for next year?
  5. It's amazing really. the guy was brought to do something (rush the passer) but the former DC used him a lot to cover TEs and drop back in coverage, guess what? He did his job. He's not flashy by any means but he gets the job done. Can you improve the pos.? sure, but the guy is still a dependable player and I no see the reason to get rid of him if he's not a liability for the cover 2. If he is then we can talk.
  6. 'nuff said git er done
  7. I would add Schobel to that list.
  8. I think he's a Seahawk.
  9. But MM took the team to the movies. He's a great coach.
  10. You missed one ingredient to that magnificent draft class
  11. Didn't Jake Arians made the go ahead FG that day? IIRC it was a long one, like 48 yards or so. Jake Arians was an awful kicker.
  12. Offensive system will have a lot to do in OL play this year. (or any year for that matter) Pendry, Sheppard, Gilbride, Clements/Mularkey. What does those names tell you? Hopefully Fairchild can come up with a system that actually makes sense and goes hand in hand with the kind of talent & players he has at his disposal.
  13. Did he praised Holcomb's superb arm strength? Rather suspect If he didn't...
  14. QB - Holcomb RB - McGahee FB - Shelton TE - Royal WR - Evans WR - Price LT - Gandy LG - Reyes OC - Fowler RG - Villarial RT - Peters RDE - Schobel DT - Tripplet DT - Anderson LDE - Kelsay SLB - Crowell MLB - Fletcher WLB - Spikes CB - McGee SS - Whitner FS - Vincent CB - Clements K - Lindell P - Moorman LS - Schneck I think Jauron will start the year with a rather conservative approach, trying to stay in games, Holcomb gives him that. Holcomb gets the nod as the starter but I'm 100% sure he won't finish the year as such.
  15. Peyton Manning Michael Vick John Lynch Jeremy Shockey John Abraham Nick Saban
  16. He'll probably start that way but he's a smart coach and I have no doubt he'll change to an attack style if the game calls for it. (like it happened against Germany)
  17. Maybe the ref was only going to apply a yellow card for the stamp but when he saw Rooney pushing another guy he had no option than sent him off. Elizondo is an excellent ref.
  18. great game, now begins the lottery. Fuhck
  19. I watched Ukraine against Switzerland and they disspointed me. I thought they would win that game easily or show a more better product on the field. I was wrong. I know Schevchenko is one hell of a player but the overall lineup is average, IMO. Italia should win this game. Does Camoranesi play today?
  20. Last night I ate Baña Cauda. Chicken Ravioli Cauliflower Brussels sprout Broccoli Cherry tomatoes all dipped in a exquisite butter and garlic sauce. Heaven on earth, I must say.
  21. Weekend at Bennie's was a great movie.
  22. well, now I'm not sure.
  23. Frank Middleton OG, that dirtbag. Kerry Collins, IIRC he tripped over his dog injuring his hand. (rumor is he was drunk) What about Thurman? the helmet incident and then going to Miami.
  24. What's easier? Adding talent to an existing roster and program that demands team work above all things. or Having a bunch of talented individuals and try to sell them that team work and chemistry comes first.
