  1. If I were to trade for a QB already in the NFL, I'd trade for Garrard. He has proven he can win this league (with a great defense behind him I might add) But I don't think it will happen. It seems Jauron is determined to give Losman ample time to sink or swimm.
  2. Bad match-up for Pennington against Romeo Crennel? I didn't watch the game, was that the case? The Jets were robbed? good, phuck 'em Packers at Bills, I see a closer game than you predict, hopefully we win this one.
  3. Roethlisberger is not the same player he was after the accident. I think he lost his mojo or aura, if you like, after the crash. Hopefully he can get back to form because hating on him now is not fun. Losman will end the year as the starter, he'll start the next year as the starter, if he doesn't show improvements I can't say how much he'll last as the leader of this team, hence we won't be drafting any QBs with our 1st or 2nd round picks.
  4. Can this move be motivated by a financial standpoint? I mean, Gandy, as bluv perfectly stated, is a dependable player but hardly elite. He'll look adequate most of the time with a stinker game now and then. If I'm not mistaken he's a FA next year. Peters has been paid early this year and would be vastly underpaid if he can translate all his talent and potential to the left side. This move makes sense on and off the field.
  5. I have to agree with your post.
  6. I thought we were targeting Kiawanuka.
  7. That'd be my choice as well.
  8. Thanks for the link. That's some funny schit.
  9. The Bills won't draft a QB in the 1st round IMO. Losman will finish the year and probably start the next year but with more of a short leash. I wouldn't be suprised to see another TC battle between him and Nall next year. If he starts and doesn't work out, Nall will get every chance to prove himself. We'll draft a QB in the 4th or 5th round next year to develop (maybe we'll get lucky, who knows?) and be the 3rd string QB. Holcomb is out next year.
  10. Before the game against the Bears, Losman was playing with confidence and in every game he's taking what was given to him. The last three games I see a guy forcing the ball to Lee Evans too much, ending up in negative plays. The pass to Evans against the Bears or the pass to Davis against NE are passes he should complete with his eyes closed. I see other young QBs in the league taking advantage of those passes for big gains. And that is the big difference between them and Losman, and those are the plays that inspire an entire football team. We have yet to see a performance from him that elevates the play of his teammates. I'm still hopefull he can do it and it's a good thing that the coaching staff feel the same way.
  11. Hey Hollywood, are the pats thinking about resigning him? If I'm not mistaken he's a FA after this season.
  12. If you see pigs flying today, this might be the day. Though I seriously doubt it.
  13. After 1370 posts, it was about time.
  14. I don't understand the need to gloat on these orther teams players, Rivers, Leinart, etc... and gloat everytime they do well. It makes you look stupid.
  15. I remeber watching a Hasselbeck lead Seahawks team playing against the Bills at the Ralph (AVP at the helm) in 2001 and I didn't think he had it then. I also remember watching Brees with San Diego in 2002 at the Ralph (Flutie played some that game) and he didn't seem to have it. Some guys have it from the get go, other have to develop it.
  16. All fair points, but I have to ask Does Nate wants to get paid by Buffalo?
  17. First game of the season against the Patriots, I see our WRs and TEs making a little double move for the defender to bite for an easy completion. Right there I said, wow at last a WR getting open, what a novelty. Where are those moves now? Today, Fairchild wakes up from his early nap and puts Losman in a position to succeed with those 3 step drops and short strikes. Losman goes 7 for 7, with the last completion to Neufeld for a TD on 74 yards drive. Next drive, back to 7 step drops, we ended up punting the game away. I just don't get it.
  18. Travis Henry is a warrior. Glad so him doing well in Tennessee.
  19. Move Peters to LT, Gandy is an abomination there.
  20. The team was flat in all four aspects of the game in one of the most difficult games of the year against a NFC rival. Had this game been against Miami or the Titans I'd be more pissed right now.
  21. And yet another post bashing an injured player followed by the "get rid of the guy for draft picks". Awesome.
  22. I think that happened when Gilbert's momma made some funny remarks about Aarons weight.
  23. Agree, but Fewell has the advantage by knowing the players he once coached.
  24. Willis will need to find someone on the Bears defensive squad to go back and forth in the trash talk department as he did against the Vikes or like when he faces Vilma. He plays better that way.
  25. Great post RuntheDamnBall. I don't get the hate on an injured TKO. If the guy were healthy he would be on the field.
