  1. Offensive system will have a lot to do in OL play this year. (or any year for that matter) Pendry, Sheppard, Gilbride, Clements/Mularkey. What does those names tell you? Hopefully Fairchild can come up with a system that actually makes sense and goes hand in hand with the kind of talent & players he has at his disposal.
  2. Did he praised Holcomb's superb arm strength? Rather suspect If he didn't...
  3. QB - Holcomb RB - McGahee FB - Shelton TE - Royal WR - Evans WR - Price LT - Gandy LG - Reyes OC - Fowler RG - Villarial RT - Peters RDE - Schobel DT - Tripplet DT - Anderson LDE - Kelsay SLB - Crowell MLB - Fletcher WLB - Spikes CB - McGee SS - Whitner FS - Vincent CB - Clements K - Lindell P - Moorman LS - Schneck I think Jauron will start the year with a rather conservative approach, trying to stay in games, Holcomb gives him that. Holcomb gets the nod as the starter but I'm 100% sure he won't finish the year as such.
  4. Peyton Manning Michael Vick John Lynch Jeremy Shockey John Abraham Nick Saban
  5. He'll probably start that way but he's a smart coach and I have no doubt he'll change to an attack style if the game calls for it. (like it happened against Germany)
  6. Maybe the ref was only going to apply a yellow card for the stamp but when he saw Rooney pushing another guy he had no option than sent him off. Elizondo is an excellent ref.
  7. great game, now begins the lottery. Fuhck
  8. I watched Ukraine against Switzerland and they disspointed me. I thought they would win that game easily or show a more better product on the field. I was wrong. I know Schevchenko is one hell of a player but the overall lineup is average, IMO. Italia should win this game. Does Camoranesi play today?
  9. Last night I ate Baña Cauda. Chicken Ravioli Cauliflower Brussels sprout Broccoli Cherry tomatoes all dipped in a exquisite butter and garlic sauce. Heaven on earth, I must say.
  10. Weekend at Bennie's was a great movie.
  11. well, now I'm not sure.
  12. Frank Middleton OG, that dirtbag. Kerry Collins, IIRC he tripped over his dog injuring his hand. (rumor is he was drunk) What about Thurman? the helmet incident and then going to Miami.
  13. What's easier? Adding talent to an existing roster and program that demands team work above all things. or Having a bunch of talented individuals and try to sell them that team work and chemistry comes first.
  14. This is all you need http://maddox.xmission.com/
  15. It is a problem, but a good one to have. Both Messi and Tevez are young an them coming from the bench IMO is a good idea for now, moreso if the guys in the starting line up are producing at a good level. If someone should falter they're excellent replacements.
  16. Put the lock in this one, fast.
  17. Everything went right (except Gonzalez's injury), the precision and execution today was bordeline perfect. As you said, a clinic. I knew this group of players had the ability to play like this but until today they didn't showed it on a consistent basis. Hopefully they can carry it on to the next rounds.
  18. He's already retired. He's just squeezing what's left of his potential.
  19. Polly says: http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060610/1026825.asp "He's going to be very, very good," Roethlisberger said at Jim Kelly's charity golf tournament. "I told the people in our [steelers] office, "Mark my words, in five years he's going to be one of the best in the league.' I have that much confidence in him. I know he's got confidence in himself. I wish we had him, unfortunately." Roethlisberger is most impressed by Nance's reliable hands. "A lot of big guys when they go up for jump balls they go up and catch it with their body," Roethlisberger said. "He can jump and still grab it with his hands. He's a big guy with real soft hands. I think of a handful of times when I threw a bad ball and he went up and snagged it with one hand. He's very smooth. You know he's going to make plays for you." And buddy, count to ten, relax, you'll live longer.
  20. IIRC I read some of Ratburger's comments about Nance and he said that he tried to convince Cowher and FO to draft him. I think those comments were made on Jim Kelly's golf tournament.
  21. God bless youtube
  22. Wow, it seems we're making all the goals we missed in the last World Cup. Great game. The second goal was beautiful.
  23. And I thought I was the only one with such luck.
  24. Ryan Dinwiddie Quarterback Boise State Year: Sr Height: 6-1 Weight: 187 40: 4.65 Hometown: Elk Grove, CA Positives: Ryan is an accurate QB. Has had a productive career at Boise State. He is a smart QB. He makes quick decisions. Has a quick release. Gets the ball out of his hands as soon as possible. He doesn't make many mistakes. He is very efficient. Has above average arm strength. Throws a very catchable ball with a lot of touch. Has good footwork and throws well on the run. Has average mobility. Negatives: Ryan's long ball flutters at times. He needs to put a little more zip on some of his passes. Doesn't have great size for a QB. Needs to get stronger to be able to endure the NFL season. Also doesn't play at a major university which may hurt his draft status. Bottom Line: Ryan had an ankle injury earlier in his career. You can bet scouts will be sure to check that out and make sure it is sound. If he had better size he'd be a much higher draft pick, but because of his size he may fall into the later rounds.
