  1. I would have called Chuck Norris..........
  2. Fitzpatrick was the guy I wanted all along to be our back-up QB. He is young, still learning the position and has some experience. I would have liked to see Hamdan last year in the last couple of games to see if he could handle things with real live bullets but the coaches didn't give him an oportunity. I think this year we're in good shape at QB.
  3. A1: Bring the Pizza boy to compete and eventually win the starting position over Ellison. B3: I think Walker will be alright, our RBs will have extra work this year in pass pro, but I feel comfortable with him there. Hopefully Bell 1 shows us something this year. C3/C4: Keep McCargo, maybe he's a mercenary and plays great for a contract, who knows? Sign Wendell Bryant, if he rediscovered his football desire he could surprise.
  4. I don't know, SW fans have their Dick Jauron in Jar Jar Binks, someone I bet they could live without.
  5. I think we have a great DB coach in George Catavolos, like April he's one of the bright spots we have in the coaching staff. With Kollar gone, I hope Bob Sanders becomes a good teacher and communicator to his players.
  6. Ralph would probably forfeit the pick.
  7. We will go into the season with Walker at LT and Bell/Chambers at RT, IMO. We will draft IOL in this draft My train of thought if I'm the Bills FO is: Draft Pettigrew 1 - To aid either of the tackle positions in pass pro 2 - To add to the OL with that needed in line blocking for the running game. 3 - Provide Edwards with a reliable set of hands to so the opposing SS has to account for him 4 - hence, we will be facing less 8 men in the box defenses 5 - thus making the play action more effective
  8. Once the Jaguars secure Raji with their first pick, we trade our 4th for John Henderson.
  9. Hopefully Walker doesn't ask for a raise.........
  10. I think Gandy had an ok game, considering that he went against Harrison and also knowing the guy is merely an above average LT. What I'm trying to say is that the Cardinals could have used a better LT (in general, not talking about Peters here) when Warner and the offense couldn't move the ball becuase of heavy pressure. I do agree with your comparison with rugby, though having one or two superstars would help a lot. The problem is that the Bills FO (the current one) does neither of the two, they don't draft early linemen and they don't let the ones they obtain to gain chemistry or continuity.
  11. Who knows, maybe if the Cardinals had one that day they could have won that game.
  12. To play RT, then the team that gave him a contract according to that position moved him to LT. He moved, played at a Pro Bowl level and now he wants more money. It's the natural thing to do. Now, lets pretend the team moves him to QB, he says yes, kicks some ass throwing to TO and Evans and goes to the Pro Bowl, my guess is that he will be asking for more money. If you would have been promoted to a better position in your workplace but with the money from the previous position you too would be asking for better money.
  13. I remember people thinking trading for Stroud was a huge risk given his injury and his suspension. Brandon is right in this case, IMO, maybe he was not overly critized but he trade was questioned by some.
  14. Not saying I would be unhappy with that scenario, but we need more help on the offensive line if things stay the same as they are right now. Jerry would address that imperative need for that elusive 3-tech DT for our system, that unless they still hold some hope for McCargo. If we draft Jerry in the first I believe they would be looking to add OLs in the second and third rounds.
  15. Don't worry Senator, it's happening on every Bills MB. I know the future doesn't look too bright right now but the level of negativism is becoming tiresome. Me, as always, I'll just hope for the best trying to be as objective as I can.
  16. At this time, last year, he was touted as possibly being a first rounder this year. What happened to him? (it is obvious I don't watch college football)
  17. Good luck Robert. You're a fine man, it's a shame we can't say the same about your game.
  18. this is my opinion, but I don't think the guy was all that good a teammate, or person for that matter. But I reapeat that is my opinion.
  19. he still sucks
