  1. It was a Minnesota DL, he absolutely destroyed the guy. JPL would have been dead had the guy got him. I think it was Kevin Williams. About Barber, that is some ninja schitt right there. Some cold shot to the throat, it seems.
  2. I'm sure the wonderlic score might have been a turn off for some of the scouts but I rememeber by that time that some scouts were preoccupied with his weight and most important with his apparent lack of desire to be an NFL player. The huddle report mentioned how bad his interviews were and how they thought he would not be drafted at all. They all agree the guy was a freak of nature, though.
  3. Professor Xavier, he uses cerebro to create the playbook.
  4. I wanted us to draft Albert instead of McKelvin even though we had all the starting positions covered in the OL but with poor depth after that, plus I thought Greer and McGee were good enough to start again this year. Well, maybe next year we will draft OL with the first round.
  5. Natrone Means "Nickname Controversy ESPN Analyst Chris Berman gave Means the nickname "Natrone Means business". Originally Berman gave Means the nickname Natrone "Refried" Means, but changed it to "Natrone Means Business" after Means complained to Berman about the "refried" moniker." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natrone_Means
  6. I was about to point that out. It's the same act play after play when he's not directly involved in a play. It's disgusting as is his whinning to the refs.
  7. I'm pretty sure he was playing LT when he had that incident with Mathias Kiwanuka. But must have been he played LT for a couple of series or only for one game. IDK.
  8. This sucker says hi "Lee Evans, 70 yd pass from Trent Edwards (Rian Lindell kick is good), 12:46. Drive: 6 plays, 85 yards in 3:12"
  9. I'm a fan of Devin Thomas, who I think could make a good comparison to Anquin Boldin, but I think it would be a reach to draft him at #11. If we aren't looking at defense, that's where the value is at that spot, we should try to trade down with one of the teams in search of a OT. If by miracle Sedrick Ellis is still on board don't mind the first paragraph.
  10. Does he comes with a mullet or a box of cereals?
  11. The Panthers now have on their roster the #1 and #2 picks of the 2002 Draft.
  12. He could have grabbed the reporter's mic and say NO COMMENT and then toss that thing into the ground, but he didn't. Good thing he didn't.
  13. Good find and good read folz, thanks.
  14. As of now, Brad Cieslak, but I doubt he'll start the season, we will bring some UFDA or just draft one.
  15. In the press conference Marv said they had to address the OL and he did that in the first day of FA. Then he said the TE position is very important in the NFL and they will try to address that too. My guess is Eric Johnson, former 49er, if he's healthy, of course
  16. Do you think Marv would draft a player with such little production in College? Maybe if he goes undrafted I'll take a hard look at him but with the numbers he had at the combine he won't last long.
  17. He was tendered an offer becuase he's a hard working player that will push whoever we bring in the offseason to kork harder for a roster spot in TC.
  18. No contest, Natalie.
  19. Devin Hester will be named the MVP of SB 41, so I say the Bears win.
  20. He was my favorite player only when we played the Phins, he was a man on mission against them. He would always come up with a big play, the problem is that he was always banged up. I don't know what kind of year he had with the Chiefs.
  21. Excellent point Matt. I don't know why Fletcher didn't want to be part of the STs anymore but his absence was felt big time. Shelton took his place and he looked lost sometimes. I can't remember who replaced him when he was injuried but it was not that great either. Peters was missed too, but it's understandable why they didn't want to play him in STs. He was a monster. I had a couple of laughs last year when he was throwing people around in kickoff returns.
  22. Maybe the Giants will do it if they are looking to draft a CB like Hall.
  23. Grossman will have to be very patient trying to beat the Cover2 pass defense. He can make plays downfield with good accuracy, sometimes he gambles and let his WR make the play for him, but he will have to pick his spots finding his TEs and RBs early in the game with an occasional bomb to Berrian. The question is can he be patient enough, or be able to dink and dunk the Colt´s defense consistently? I'm inclined to think that he won´t be able to do so in this game. But we´ll see.
