  1. I don't think so, but eventually Jason will want big money thrown at him.
  2. That's the only way I can see Marv taking a CB with the first round pick. But at #12 I don't think so.
  3. Actually, he was arrested for "boating under the influence" this year. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2740990 Frankly I don't care, if we can sign the guy, it will solidify the LG spot for several years.
  4. I´ll give one more chance to be a homer What do you think about FB, Cory Anderson? Does his game traslate well in the NFL? Though I like Shelton I think it´s time to part ways with him since he´s showing his age on the field. We need an upgrade on the FB position. IMO. What round do you think he´ll go?
  5. I too liked Merz on that game against the Patriots. He showed good mobility on pull plays blocking at the second level. He could probably be the back up to Fowler (I think he's already) and eventually take his position. Too early to call him a dud.
  6. Like Al Davis, that shark looks pre-historic.
  7. First the Patsies go down, now this, hopefully this is the beginning of a great of offseason.
  8. I'm not thrilled with Willis production this year, altough he played a couple of games while being injured, but I'm definately opposed to the notion of him being traded. (unless we land a 1st round pick, not going to happen, IMO) What I would definately do is draft a good prospect in case he isn't resigned next year.
  9. I think we should try to get Eric Johnson from the 49ers. He had a fantastic year in 2004 with 82 catches for 825 yards, didn't play in 2005 and this year he had more catches as a second TE (Vernon Davis) than Royal had as the starter for the Bills. He's a FA this year.
  10. Are you sure about that? I remember McNally saying, last offseason IIRC, that Peters was the best project he ever had because of talent and size.
  11. As simple as that. Great post obi wan.
  12. If he can play Guard we should definately take him. In my opinion we are soft in the middle of the lines. Signing Steinbach and picking this kid in the draft would be amazing. With Preston and Gandy (resign him) as backups, we would have a very deep OL in terms of depth.
  13. I also agree that keeping Gandy would be the smart thing to do due to his versatility. Peters, Fowler and Pennington should remain starters for the start of next season, we need to improve both guards position badly. I'd be thrilled if we could somehow sign Steinbach in the offseason to play LG and upgrade the RG with a young stud from the draft. We must be able to run inside the tackles, something we couldn't this past season.
  14. Maybe the Crennel/Weiss connection has something to do with it. Just guessing.
  15. I wouldn't say massive but a more talented guy would do wonders for Tripplet and the rest of the kids. When Tripplet was in Indy he played along side Corey Simon and he did well until Simon got injured. If that said talent comes with size, the better.
  16. Hey, I'm with you, but it seems that after this year fiasco at stopping the run everyone is hoping for a fat bastard in the middle of the line. Believe me I want the same but first and foremost I want a guy/s with talent, like the Bears have and they're not the biggest guys out there. Williams and Tripplet are nice players but togheter they're overmatched more often than not. Unfortunately Anderson hasn't improve a bit since his rookie year and McCargo is, at this point, a ?.
  17. Are they? Really? I know they told us fans that Ngata wasn't a good fit for our new defense, but I think they not drafting him was because they were more sold (surest pick, I mean) on Whitner than anything else. Remember that we went after Ryan Pickett in the offseason and the Packers beat us in that race. Pickett is listed at 322 pounds in the NFL page (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235235). By all acounts not a small guy. I'm sure after the end results of this year run defense, we'll see a big body and talented (hopefully), inserted in the middle of the line
  18. That TD pass to Lee on 3rd and 13 where he stepped up in the pocket was a great sign of things to come. Back in October he would have been sacked for a big gain. Also a good sign was the way he connected with Price in this game, something it didn't happen often in the previous games.
  19. Two big plays, about Royal, wow talk about being dumb. and the second one, I don't mind us passing on that play but do a rollout and pass to the backs or TEs. You go Shotgun and the defense is thinking pass all the way.
  20. That was the game right there, we score a TD and I don't think the Titans score twice on us.
  21. I think Jauron would hava catch that pass from Lee Evans.
  22. Booyyaa!
  23. Bugger off Taylor, we kicked your ass today, now go beat the Jests.
  24. Any chance he may want to stay a Bills with the latest success and chemistry of the team or will he want to hit the FA no matter what?
