  1. I guess my point is between Watt and Wilson, they have done the same thing, either via a blitz by the linebacker and Watt also crashing, or both of them crashing. One of them needs to defend the edge to have a shot at tackling Lamar. Probably mainly the lb since he's young, but still. I guess I should clarify Wilson is the linebacker, not the qb
  2. Sure. It always helps if there's a defender there to do it.
  3. That would be nice, he already got a knee to the kidney. Looking at those replays, Watt and Wilson are not on the same page defending the edge. They are both doing the same thing instead of splitting inside/outside responsibilities. Hope they get that stopped.
  4. Yeah, they really need to let their ends go after Lamar instead of taking the rb.
  5. That's what happens when you believe in your defense
  6. Just seems like the team ran out of gas over the last month or so. Wilson chief among them, but Watt, Heyward and fitzpatrick seem to have hit a wall. Plus Pickens has checked out.
  7. I'm a little concerned that Payton will have a good plan against our defense. Thinking we'll be able to get the win, but I think Denver will be a challenge.
  8. Seems like the limit of two should be upped for week 18. Could be a decent reward for some guys who've been working all year but didn't get much playing time. Plus a game check.
  9. Seems like they weren't scared enough of the NE passing game to force start Williams with the playoffs looming. A little concerned that Spector is made of glass and hopefully ulo will be ready next year or we may need a free agent reserve/draft pick to provide some depth.
  10. Harrison Philips is doing well in Minnesota. I saw a sherfeld jr name plate at some point but I'm not committed enough to the thread to look up where he's playing. Dobson too.
  11. Watt went out with an ankle yesterday, I didn't see if it was longer term or not. Pit does have some decent pass rush behind him though. What happened to Mahomes is a reminder to make sure your oline room is as deep and talented as possible.
  12. And here I figured you were the guy with no inside voice. "Why are you yelling, I'm sitting right here?"
  13. I have an older Sequoia that's been very good to me. My 2006 doesn't have a magic 3rd row, if I want the seats out I have to wrastle em', but I assume you can get that with something 10 or so years old. From a reliability standpoint it's been awesome. 210K on it and nothing major as well as nothing irritating. Things like I've only replaced one tail-light and one fog light on it. Interior pieces are in good shape. No issues with the 4 wheel drive. I got it mainly because it will pull 6000 lbs, but it's also got a nice amount of drivers seat room which I find useful. I would recommend if you don't mind the gas mileage.
  14. Oh no, giving Mack special instructions
  15. I think within one yard of the line, no
  16. Outflanked us out there. That's a nice call.
  17. Well, I don't look at it as McD, it's the entire coaching staff as well as Beane and company. So I think the things that have improved this year: Both coordinators - Babich has hit the ground running. I thought he would be blitzing more, but he is orchestrating and bend but don't break defense pretty well. I am hoping that if our base defense gets gashed like it did against the ravens he will have a wrinkle, but other than that I think he's done a fine job. Brady has done a nice job blending the running and passing. Most of the time the offense has a decent rhythm (other than maybe early in some games) and we have been able to score when needed. The former ref making the calls on whether to challenge or not has been a good add. Seems like we are at least challenging things that make sense. Beane went out and got Cooper. It hasn't paid dividends yet but I'm hoping he will be a big part of the playoff offense, it seems like he's still nursing that wrist. For me, it's really the dynamic of how the coaches interact with each other and then how they interact with the front office. I think Babich/Brady and MCDermott are in lock step where in the past I don't think that's quite been the case. Daboll was pretty well documented and I have to think Frazier was a little soft for McD because of the way McD blitzed when he got ahold of the d last year. There doesn't seem to be much head shaking by McD in the press conferences after the game this year. I know everyone likes to pin everything on McD, but there is a level of autonomy that the coordinators get to do their own thing - they have the day to day leading of their group to do. I think the 2024 group of coaches has gotten a lot out of these players. I'm pretty excited about us getting a little healthier as we move toward the playoffs and think we have a good shot of getting to the super bowl. My only bbfs downer is around Bass. And it's a pretty big ledge considering our history.
  18. With the 32nd pick in the 2025 draft, the Buffalo Bills select....
  19. They could expand the practice squad some. Negotiations will be interesting at the next CBA. Like for international games, as a player do you require a bye afterward? Are there other requirements the players should have around some of this scheduling? Plus the discipline process, grass vs turf vs crappy grass or turf, I'm sure there's a bunch of other things to work out.
