  1. I went to the Ford topic, clicking on the title. Read the first page, clicked on next, went to the bottom of page 2. Clicked on prev, then on next and I went to the top of page 2. Cleared my cache and the same thing is happening. My title link setting is to go to the first unread message. Seems like there is an issue with the indexing of the last unread message. Maybe moderator maint is causing it to get corrupted? I am using a laptop running windows 11 and edge version 112.0.1722.64 (Official build) (64-bit). This has been happening for a while to me, it hasn't been a big enough issue for me to put something in the tech support. But since this is going, I'll add some info.
  2. Do you think Darius Rush could play deep safety? The strengths you're describing seem to fit.
  3. I like the idea of having a two tight end set, Knox could be freed up to be split out more often and we could get more use out of him. Having two TE targets should also help Josh focus on the shorter and intermediate routes. It should also help the run game. The backup TE position is basically a zero now, so any add helps if they want to change the offense to use one. I personally am ok taking one in the first round if he can be that well-rounded player, but like when they took Knox I assume they will target a list of guys and probably not take one in the first. As far as your question, I think they are fine with Davis at #2 and if all else was even would take a TE first. Probably why they will be going MLB or DL.
  4. No, he'll fit right in. On another note, I always thought Sims had some juice, but assume he's got some other issues since they're not hanging onto him.
  5. Yeah, I'm looking at all these draft sites and they're really not talking about the 2 MLB's as primary needs for the Steelers. Myles Jack was a stretch when they brought him in. Seems like they've shored the positions up a little the last couple of days, but I could easily see them adding an lb in the first, well before a corner, assuming they stay in the same defense.
  6. I haven't heard much good about him since the injury. Watching a little bit of the Steelers he didn't look like he was helping much in any phase of the defense. No thanks.
  7. I don't think Dorsey could take any more Lil dirties, his head might explode.
  8. Well, if we had two of them, there would always be someone to yell at and someone to admire.
  9. One member of the family per team is more than enough. The brothers play the same way, just different positions and body types.
  10. I'm assuming Dorsey is going to bring in someone he's more familiar with, I think EPS said something upthread. I assume it's going to be someone not quite so player friendly and it will be the end of McKenzie on this team. Sorry @Buffalo_Stampede, thought I quoted you.
  11. Well, if Hall was all that but McDermott wasn't all in, does anyone else wonder why Daboll didn't take him last year? I also find it interesting that two of the position groups where we had to sit the young guys and get the old guys back in lost their position coaches. Since there are other coaches not currently under contract this may not be the end of the changes.
  12. I remember just last year when we were talking about how the players we take at the back end of the draft had no chance to make this roster and we should trade up with them.
  13. I could be convinced to watch it at Highmark, would be fun with a few thousand folks.
  14. As far as I'm concerned, we need someone to take he pressure off Diggs and I don't think a rookie will do that. Out of these two, I prefer OBJ. I hear the diva stuff, but to me he was performing well before hurting his knee and quite frankly we have established culture and coaches, and if we want to go all the way we need talent. McDermott needs to be able to handle the diva guys at this point or we're not going to make it to the super bowl. As far as Thomas, my concerns are not about the injuries per se, but how and when they occurred. Just seemed to me the one year he could have had surgery earlier in the offseason and it just seemed overall that he really didn't want to play once Payton retired. Just the way the coaches were tentative about when he would be available to play. Would be really suspicious about him just looking for a payday, which is much different than a diva attitude. I think it makes sense for us to bring someone in during free agency as a weapon, if nothing else it is Beane's mantra to provide flexibility in the draft.
  15. Before that it hit the defenders hand, as it was coming in. No way for Gabe to adjust from that deflection.
  16. He didn't drop it, the ball hit the defenders hand right before it got to Gabe. I originally thought it hit his helmet, but looking at it again it hit the hand.
