Dabol is calling a pass happy game nearly every week without players that can execute it at a high level consistently. With a young QB and 3 capable running backs, the ball should be handed off more often.

Some mid-season thoughts re Allen and the team
keepthefaith replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills are simply too reliant on a passing game that isn't very good. They need to run the ball more. -

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
keepthefaith replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
As painful as this is to say and to hear, this country desperately needs to re-elect Trump on principle. That principle being that we can't allow the media and the opposition party to run a series of ruses for the sake of their own power and agendas. When I say ruse I'm being kind to those parties. What they've done and what they're doing is worse than that, much worse. -
You might note that Trump since he became President has pulled aid from countries where he didn't like their behavior and he has put conditions on aid being provided. Some that come to mind are NATO countries (pay your fair share), Mexico and other Latin American countries (stop the BS migration) and Pakistan IIRC. He's actually been quite consistent in asking for a fair return in exchange for aid. When you stop viewing Biden as a political opponent and rather as one that has his fingerprints on previous aid that went missing with a family member being compensated directly by the organization and principles of the organization who handled some of the missing AID money, there's a pattern of consistency from Trump. He's used taxpayer money as a lever to get benefits for our country. The Biden's have earned their investigation. Joe made the incredible mistake of bragging about his handling of aid without the benefit of Hillary to cover him.

I think it's fair to ask about Rudy's involvement. It's also fair to understand that Trump has the right to hire lawyers and investigators to look into matters that affected him or his campaign or to learn about political rivals. For sure though, Rudy should not be engaged in foreign policy. Frankly, if Trump has any trouble here with Ukraine, it's more likely to come from something Rudy has done than how aid was delivered.

All of us calling balls and strikes goes a long way. It's harder than ever to do with all the horse manure that we are fed daily by media. For this particular story, the turning point for me was a few weeks ago when Hedge I believe posted link to the Glenn Beck video where Beck lays out a timeline of activities with a lot of supporting facts and documents. From there I went searching for more to back up what Beck presented because well it's Glenn Beck, hyper partisan right? In less than 30 minutes of some searching specific timelines there is A LOT out there on Ukraine and the dirty deeds that have gone on there. It's looking more and more like aid money was laundered through there and covered up by people within and outside of Ukraine and not just in recent years. What surprises me the most is what a lousy case the Trump people and Republicans are making for his delaying aid. If you lay out all this Ukraine crap, it's shocking we would provide aid without some audit strings attached.

You completely omit the part about Ukraine's previous history of losing aid money. This is the rub and the most compelling reason why Trump wanted aid delayed until he could get certain commitments. Biden was a player in this long before he was a candidate. That's why it's appropriate to investigate and get assurances from the new Ukranian President. This from March 2018. https://pjmedia.com/trending/did-biden-save-this-ukraine-firm-responsible-for-1-8b-in-missing-aid-his-son-is-on-the-board/

Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
keepthefaith replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well Warren took herself out last week with the cost and payment method and restrictions of her health care plan. Now Bernie rolls this out which even a lot of dems won't like. Gotta give them both credit for their authenticity, but this makes Bloomberg's entry easier along with senile Joe dropping. Looks like a battle between 2 mayors heating up to me. -

Are we to believe that if the US gubmint became the single payer/provider of healthcare in this country that the quality of care delivered will be the same? That they'll deliver and administer healthcare within a budget and as efficiently as its done privately today? That programs that run reasonably well in other countries of 5 milion people will simply scale to 350+ million? That everyone not just the rich will truly pay their fair share? That it won't be an additional burden on businesses of all sizes? That patients will still be able to get 2nd opinions from doctors when desired? Who do we turn to if government provides a bad service? The US government doesn't run any entitlements within budget or within the taxes raised, why are we to believe it will do so for this? -
Bi-Partisan Support For Impeachment

Spectacular and she's earned a large helping of disrespect. -
So True. My wife had some of her lady friends over a couple weeks ago. I tended bar and hung out with them for a couple hours. One of the women started a conversation with me on politics, something about Trump BAD! She told me she followed politics closely and that it was exhausting every week (agree on that) and that she was politically "down the middle". As the conversation went on she continually regurgitated CNN and MSNBC points, hates Trump, wants free health care for all because it will be much cheaper and better. She also said she didn't get a tax cut because her refund this year was smaller than last year. When quizzed about the efforts to ruin the Trump campaign and presidency, she believes that's just right wing propaganda and she had no clue who is Carter Page, Strzok, Lisa Page, Halper, Downer, the Ohr's, etc... As for Ukraine she didn't seem to be the least bit curious how Hunter Biden got the paid board position. Yup, she follows close and plays it right down the middle LOL.

Tough call for AOC. Stand up for young women or have Clinton's and the news media's back while toeing the party line. Tough line for her to walk. -

Warren will tank in the primary after her health care rollout last week, unless she revises her plan or adds the customary dem carve-outs for unions, gubmint workers, pols, etc... Mark these words. -
It will be different. Nancy will die in office and star in the sequel of Weekend At Bernies. Dems will eventually elect a new minority leader. Mitch will finally retire and be replaced by Graham as senate leader. Bill Barr will be up to his eyeballs prosecuting Obama/Sec Clinton era bad actors. China will cut a trade deal with the U.S. The wall gets completed and border security gets robust enhancements. Some favorable revisions are made to health insurance laws. The economy slows and deficits/debt become headline news again. Trump's hair will look exactly the same.

Bi-Partisan Support For Impeachment

Question for any that would like to weigh in. In your opinion have democrat pols simply adopted a win at all cost stance since 2016, or are they being more aggressive because it's Trump an outsider? Let's say Romney was the republican nominee in 2016. Would Obama have spied on his campaign as well? If Romney had been elected would the same unhinged effort to destroy his presidency ensued or would we see more civil behavior by the left now? -

Simply a function of Warren rolling out more details about her totally implausible heath care for all and otherwise illegal plan. She has now sealed her fate. No way in hell that a majority of Democrats will get behind her and this. I'd say right now that Mayor Pete is the favorite. Biden senile, Warren out of her mind policy-wise, Sanders has a ceiling among communists and the clueless and he's also too old. Door is open for the Mayor and he's doing decent raising money.
