The group has worked. The main reason it has worked is because Josh Allen has turned into everything we could have possibly hoped for and more. I said the Diggs move was most likely going to be addition by subtraction. His attitude and constant screaming for the ball being out of the locker room has allowed Josh to just go back to having fun playing football. He reads the defense and throws the ball to the open man. To see him have this type of success with guys considered "lesser" by most pundits just proves how great of a player he really is. Now go get that Lombardi.

Maybe this is why he didn't get an NFL gig this past year, because of this Belicheat Manifesto of his. This seems like a lot for a college program to commit to. I'd almost expect them to turn him down.

We all knew this in real time, as did the announcers. They made mention of it immediately. Unreal that it wasn't called. And of course they pass right by on most Sunday night highlights and Monday morning on all of the talk shows, probably at the NFL's "request".

I'm not sure if it's coaching, if it's the 1-Tech beside him not producing, or if it's due to him not having Floyd beside him drawing attention. Whatever it is, it looks like he's taken a couple steps back this year.

Maybe to the Jets because of the pieces they have on defense. I could see him going there and bringing McDaniels in to run the offense. Draft OL heavy and see how it goes.

We're likely playing for the #1 seed going into week 18. That means he'll be playing every game. I don't see that as a tall task for him in 5 games.

I don't believe Josh needs an MVP this year per say, but hardware is what you're remembered by and this year he has probably his best chance to date. The Phillip Rivers comp is kind of scary when you think about it. Completely different skill set of course. Rivers was a REALLY good QB, but his teams could just never get past the Pittsburgh's, Indy's, and New England's of his time. I don't expect that to be Josh's career arc by any means, but it does make you think about how many really good players there have been who never really get the accolades. Josh is too special of a player and talent in general for me to think that is how his career will play out.

Hopefully, having almost a year off from the game, hits, and practices have allowed all of those nagging injuries to heal. If we could have a fully healthy MH for a Playoff run, that would be outstanding.

During the winning streak, I have worn my Bills "2023 AFC East Champions" shirt underneath anything I have had on each game day.

If you're basing your entire argument off of PFF grades then Elam has not been really good. He makes a play here or there, but takes bad angles and makes more mental errors than the other DB'S. There's a reason he can't get on the field and it's not because of Douglas and Benford alone. Benford also is not the best CB in the NFL. You put him on another team, in another system, and he's just average. We have seen it multiple times, that McDermott knows how to coach up DB'S. Benford is nothing more than a product of our defense.

Elam is not "really good" and Benford is not the best CB in football.

I think it's definitely the fan base. I don't think the organization or Josh are all that worried about it. I think both the organization and Josh are pretty much DB or bust, but I do think Josh uses anything he feels as a "slight" as fuel for the fire.
