  1. Nothing would surprise me with the Jets. I think we all saw how incompetent Hackett was in 2022 with Denver. Because him and Rodgers are best buds, he got the job with the Jets. Just like Allen Lazard and the rest of the former teammates that became present day teammates. The incompetence of their FO and staff to field an overall winner has been an ongoing situation since the Rex Ryan days. Nothing has changed except the names that get tossed out at the forefront. Their OL is still trash, no one knows if Rodgers is even going to be the Rodgers they last saw on the field in 2022, a projected $7M in Cap space, and 19 UFA's. Not sure what's going on behind the scenes, but this still look to be the same dumpster fire they have been for the past 13 years.
  2. And then there was one......... Ummmm... No, I mean... Yeah, that's it.
  3. DaQuan only played 44% of the snaps. If Sweat plays 50% of the snaps then that's already more than DaQuan.
  4. If that draft pick is T'Vondre Sweat, I'm good with that. I'm starting to think he won't make it to our 2nd. Him and Ed O together on that D-line would be a nightmare for opposing offenses. He's 6'4", 360lbs, and he moves extremely well for a guy his size.
  5. A single Senior Bowl practice does not erase what you see on tape with Leggette. He could have been pressing, he could have had some crap passes thrown his way. Timing, or lack thereof, is an issue with these things in a lot of cases. These drills, like noted by others, are always more favorable for projected Slot WR's. We're looking for a #2 WR, with #1 potential, who also can take the lid off of a defense. He had 7 catches for 77 against one of the best defenses in the country in Georgia. The guy can run like 23 mph, meaning he can take any catch to the house if he gets a lane. Can you imagine what a guy with wheels like that and JA17 could do on those scramble drills? He had 71 catches for 1,255 yards in the SEC with Spencer Rattler as his QB. He's still one of those guys with that potential.
  6. Seriously. I mean, what does this say about those two jobs? You have to figure that Slowik and Ben Johnson were both high on the list. Now what? Does either reach out to BB? Does BB say, "Nah, that's a pass for me too dawg," because he wasn't high on the list? It's almost like they have to settle for someone. Is that really how you want to build your next regime? Settling for a head coach? Pretty wild actually.
  7. I got two pieces of pocket lint and a nickel. I'll give up the pocket lint.
  8. No one is a must. I'd like to have Epenesa, DaQuan, Dane (for depth), and Ty Johnson back though.
  9. The Pontoon Two floating into a stadium near you Fish fans
  10. I will always watch, regardless of the teams involved. It's the last NFL game until August, and the last meaningful game until September.
  11. I fully believe JA17 will hoist at least a single Lombardi, if not more. He's too good and the team is close. We are certainly not the Dolphins of the Marino era. All it takes is a year of good fortune as far as the health of our key players and we will break through. I fully believe that. If we just had a mainly healthy Bernard, Douglas, and Benford I think we beat the Chiefs easily. They wouldn't have been moving the ball on the ground, nor in the air the way they did. If we have Milano all year things are even more different. I know injuries happen, but the two teams in the SB have pretty much their entire starting units from the beginning of the season on the field at this point.
  12. That was the biggest thing about the loss of Daboll, the relationship he and Josh had. Josh grew by leaps and bounds up under him and I don't think he's had that the same type of trust in anyone else on the offensive staff since. We'll see how he does during a full offseason with Brady at the helm. Hopefully they can develop that same type of rapport and relationship he had with Dabs.
  13. It's OK, Dan is gonna take a chunk out on his way back up
  14. A 49ers vs Chiefs rematch. KC will win again. Wash, rinse, repeat.
  15. Goff choked that one. I don't understand not kicking at all. Twice now
