Make the best of a disappointing situation by drafting 4-5 starters and get to work on the next shot at a franchise QB pick/free agent signing in 2019...

Oddly, I'm more OK with this trade than giving up additional 2nd and 3rd round picks this year. I want those four 2018 picks in round 2-3 to be used on quality starters to plug holes this year. Not having a #1 in 2019 would be acceptable if the Bills found their franchise guy this year... And at this point in the season, with a tougher schedule and an arguably weaker team--plus no help yet from Andy Dalton--it strikes me as not outside the realm of likelihood...

And yet, name a team with a great QB and mediocre supporting cast that has done anything either. Manning got only one ring in Indy because he had a meh supporting cast and meh coaching. You could almost say his career was wasted . And none of the QBs in this class are anywhere near his talent...

Different era, IMO. Bradshaw thew about 23 passes a game and had a career completion percentage of 51.9%. Not much brainpower needed in those days...

Nah. Bridgewater is a FA in 2019 and McCown is on a one-year deal. They have to go QB at #3 so they can build a team around him for when he eventually gets on the field...
