  1. TSW will crash after the Bills first pick, regardless of who it is...
  2. Or he might have thought, "If I'm going to give away the farm, I may as well do it with a friend (Gettleman) in the NFC..."
  3. Jared Goff says hello.... http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/breaking-down-cals-jared-goff/
  4. Thanks for posting that horror story. Better than anything Stephen King cound have wrote...
  5. LOL. Jimmy's just hiding out from the IRS...
  6. 7. Come on. That's an outlier. http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?position=QB&type=position ========================================================================= EDIT: Actually, looking at that list, I retract my statement!!! smh...
  8. From Palmer's own website, here are other draft prospects he's "helped" in recent years. Quite a stable of future-HOF guys. Doh! http://qbsummit.com/palmer/ "NFL Draft prep has allowed me to train some of the top guys in the past 3 years such as Blake Bortles, Keith Price, Sean Mannion and Christian Hackenberg." Plus this gem: "The [NFL] quarterback rooms I've been in have been filled with names juch as Jason Campbell, Jay Cutler, Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne, Carson Palmer, EJ Manuel, Josh McCown, Jimmy Clausen and many others."
  9. Bupkis. There are 1-2 QBs every year, so 2019 will likely be a 'typical' year. The fact there are four, maybe 5 in this draft class is what stands out...
  10. A pox on all invoved in that clusterxxxx. The self-inflicted wounds from back then (UB location, Rapid Rail, Rich Stadium) are still dragging on the Buffalo area all these years later...
  11. Nah. First-time offender, only property-related damages, likely restitution on Zay's part. No DA will file on that....
  12. Street and Smith was nowhere as near as good as PFW. It was just a compilation of content from NFL beat reporters (i.e., Larry Felser-types). PFW, on the other hand, had the all-time GOAT of draftnicks, Joel Buchsbaum--who was nearly on par with scouts/personnel evaluators in terms of the amount of film work he did. Boy, I miss his draft guide, which I devoured every year around this time... ,
  13. Interesting point. Even though Allen may be a notch (or two) below Rosen, Darnold and Mayfield, he may be more 'value-able' to the Bills if they can get him at #12 and use the rest of the picks to build a very good team. Giving up those prospective players to land Rosen or Darnold might result in a better QB but lesser team--one that might not win as many games in the next 3-4 years, a time frame McBeane likely is most interested in from a contractual/career perspective (rather than the next 10-12 years, if Rosen/Darnold actually were to deliver HOF-type performance)...
  14. I cant's see Denver passing on a QB, but I guess Elway should have a good handle on how this group stacks up talent-wise. Allen at #12 would be palatable, although I suspect another QB-needy team might jump up to grab him if he starts to fall toward the Bills...
  15. Is he even running yet? How do you throw $$$ at a guy who was never fast to start with...
  16. Tired of playing in the snow, apparently.....
  17. IIRC, Big Ben was a much more accomplished prospect than Allen, with twice the passing yards and nearly double the TDs... 18. Criminal charges are likely off the table. He'll pay for the damages and the DA's office will drop it. However, as to his football career, a great deal of uncertainty lies ahead...
  19. The more chatter around this aspect of Rosen's resume, the more I expect him to have a good career...with a team that passed on him for thinking just like Tucker and the other 'gurus' who dwell on his leadership ability. The NFL is littered with stars who fell in the draft (i.e., Rogers, Thurmal) because of doubts about their ability...
  20. That explains it. I'm the poster child for anti-social (media)...
  21. Is it me, or have we heard more from his father so far in his NFL career than we have Zay?...
  22. INdubitably...
