McD knows DBs. I could see him thinking he could turn a mid-round CB or S prospect into an immediate contributor and use the early picks to snag desperately-needed OL help...

Come on, dude. Don't take away the straw man...

He's been mediocre the last few years, living off his early success. Now he's scrambling to hang on to the job and I'm not surprised Rogers is growing wary of what's going on in GB...

What does that make you...

Yeah, like no one on TSW would dive into that pool if they had a change at Danica, etc.

4-16: Josh Allen has a Pre-Draft Visit with the Bills
Lurker replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm worried about SDS' server. No matter who we pick, it's going to crash... Is Allen the only one of the top four that actually came to Orchard Park? I seem to recall that the Bills went to California for Rosen and Darnold. Don't recall about Mayfield... -

Same here. The Kings were gassed but were still scratching and clawing, diving face first to block shots. That sequence in OT2 where Lewis and Quick both were playing without sticks was incredible...

Had an argument with a friend about Thurman Thomas
Lurker replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thurman was head and shoulders above Saunders and Smith as a receiver, which always seems to be overlooked when taking about RBs. The total package is how they should be evaluated, but most of the debate always centers on their rushing stats (go figure ). In addition to his rushing, Thurman was a de facto WR in so many games during the glory years. He averaged a WR-like 11 yards per reception from 1988 to 1992. His wheel routes were a thing of beauty. If I had to build a team and could pick one RB from that era, Thurman's my guy. While Saunders was the best pure runner I've ever seen, and Smith was an great combo of power and wiggle, Thurman was the most complete package. Had he played in a big media market, he would be a household name even today... -
Bills One of the Best Fits for Dez Bryant - Per ESPN
Lurker replied to patneiler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. Dez is the anti-process. Bright lights, big city prima donna who'll choose the best market where he can be a 'star'..... -
