  1. Regarding accuracy/precision I recently watched a video of an interview of Joe Montana. He was asked "Who do you think is the greatest QB of them all?" After giving it some thought he replied; "You have to consider Dan Marino. No one has ever thrown passes with the accuracy and precision of Marino, and remember he wasn't throwing to 6'5" speedsters. He made Mark Duper & Marc Clayton unbeatable. As an aside; in our fantasy leagues of 1985 through 1988 we excluded Marino from drafts because he was so prolific a scorer that whoever drafted him won the league championship.
  2. How good a NFL QB is A.J. McCCarron? NO ONE KNOWS. What we do know is if you surround him with good football players and top notch coaching he can throw 58 TDs with 10 interceptions and win 2 National Championship in 2 years at Alabama. How good a NFL QB can Peterman become? NO ONE KNOWS. What we do know is his head coach thought enough of his ability to start him against arguably the best defense in the NFL. He must have NFL talent. My suggestion is to keep all our draft picks to use on surrounding McCarron with elite players while picking a QB in the later rounds. Remember that the greatest QB that has ever lived was a 6th round pick who sat on the bench for 3 years.
  3. My best Bills memories are from the days at the Rock Pile. My buddy & I parked our car on Lemon St. and paid neighborhood kids 25 cents to watch the car. We stopped at a local store & bought 2 six packs of beer, entered the stadium and took our seats in row 22. At half time we left our seats and walked across the field and met Ralph Wilson at the tunnel entrance to the locker rooms. Ralph had no idea who we were other than two passionate Bills fans. The three of us discussed the 1st half and what we expected in the 2nd half. We then left Ralph and walked back across the field to our seats and had another beer. This was our every home game ritual. I am now a 55 year season ticket holder who has never tailgated, bought a single thing at a stadium concession stand and have never been in a stadium rest room. I am a pure football fan whose only cheer is a clenched fist and a mumbled YES. I LOVE FOOTBALL PERIOD. Dick Drew
