Links style courses reward course management, not distance. To a lesser degree they reward accuracy. So many crappy courses in the US are all about using the driver off the tee. Not the case on a links course.

However, I DO have something against letting it impact in ANY WAY your career, social life, health, etc. Any NFL player that smokes pot is a moron. Even the slightest chance of getting suspended is not a risk worth taking, IMO. I also think that risking criminal charges isn't worth it, but whatever. George Washington didn't smoke pot, BTW. He grew hemp that was used for rope and other useful stuff. Back then, hemp was utilized for many things. A very useful plant, however DOW chemical had a huge campaign against hemp in order to promote the use of its products.

How impressive that you went to jail for smoking weed! Wow, what a thing to be proud of! So, how was it being obedient to the guards in jail? I mean, telling you when you can go inside, outside, eat, sleep, etc. That obedience must have been wonderful for such a rebel. So was smoking weed worth the jail time? Was it easy to provide for your family while in jail? Did you make good friends there? Did the experience make you a better person?

The only reason I care is because it could keep them off the field. Ruining your career over something as silly and innocuous as marijuana is stupid. Seriously, is getting high worth a game check? Is it worth sacrificing $$ in FA? No. There's plenty of time to get high after you are done playing, but if you do it while in the NFL you are fuggin stupid. You are letting your fans and teammates down, and that is stupid. Disclaimer: I have nothing against smoking dope and think it is less harmful than alcohol. I just think it is a stupid thing to waste a career over.
