  1. I hate you.
  2. A miracle you aren't employed by an NFL team! Brilliant!
  3. This is great news. Bills don't need a sociopath felon on their team, or idiot fans who are willing to worship a sociopath felon. Ron Mexico, herpes carrier, we hardly knew ye! And thank effing God!
  4. So you expect him to know the playbook when he shows up 1/2 way through the season? Christ, think before you post.
  5. Look, I'm glad Vick isn't with the Bills, but there's no reason to wank yourself over that.
  6. Do the republican tap dance!
  7. Bruno designed them.
  8. 3 years? Dude, try 9. Playoffs or new coach. How can that upset you?
  9. I'll start out by saying I predict an 8-8 season, which is unacceptable, but reality. I'll also say that my opinions are usually panglossian to a fault. That said, the usual post-preseason game meltdown has been hilariously extreme this year. Every thread I read has turned into an everything Bills-related hatefest. I could start a thread that says, "the water boy is doing a great job of delivering water" and it would turn into a thread about how Edwards should deliver a ball even if someone had grabbed his balls and stretched them into his shoes, let alone have an offensive lineman pushed into his throw. Anyway, some things to remember: 1. The owner of the Buffalo Bills was just inducted into the HOF! 2. Bruce Smith was inducted into the HOF! 3. We are 0-0 and anything could happen! Not only that, two things can happen this year, either of which should make any real Bills fan happy: 1. The Bills make the playoffs. 2. Bills don't make the playoffs, and DJ gets fired. Those are both excellent outcomes, so how can anyone be upset?
  10. Any real musician is vomiting over the overuse of autotune. To quote Office Space, he's a "no-talent ass clown"
  11. Love your avatar. Hellcat? Wildcat? Corsair? Can't tell because it is too small.
  12. In related news, the Bills continue to spell their mediocre defensive starters with mediocre FA pickups.
  13. I've got to agree with you. He won't miss all of camp, but the Bills don't have the luxury of a pass rush that can do without someone who we all hope will contribute this year. I think it is pretty essential Maybin gets in to camp within the next few days or his chances of making an early impact are pretty slim.
  14. Things run so smoothly now, I can't believe there actually used to be some server performance issues. Hats off to you SDS.
  15. Watch out, he might suck again!
  16. Yes, I will root for him because I think he's a good person.
  17. Love the avatar, btw!
  18. Seems like a nice guy. We should sign him. Great for the locker room.
  19. That would be a waste of good chicken wings.
  20. This is EXACTLY why we can't depend on rookies to improve the team in the first year. This is prescisely why I'm disappointed that so many people have high hopes for rookies, and think our team will be better. I think the team will be worse (7-9 would be a good season IMHO), and I'm not happy about it. Going into the offseason we needed serious help on o-line, d-line (end in particluar), and LB. The two positions we significantly addressed in FA were center and WR. We did precious little otherwise. The moves made this offseason weren't made with any sense of urgency about winning this year. You can't do the same thing year after year and expect to improve. Nelson may end up being a great player in a few years, but if you have to limit his exposure to the field because can't block, we're screwed. Our problems at TE continue. Christ, I bet we'll even miss Robert Royal and Lonnie Johnson. Bottom line: Potential doesn't win football games. All rookies have is potential, and can't be depended on to contribute in year one and probably not year two. Adding a center, switching a pro-bowl T for a pro-bowl WR while at the same time depending on a new batch of rookies to perform isn't a good plan to win in '09.
  21. How can you insert our 2nd string back into the slot? You'd kill the depth at RB, and it isn't like we plan on Lynch being there the whole season. Remember, Jackson is starting the 1st three games. Who would be the #2 RB those games after Rhodes? You'd need to make yet another roster move to cover Jackson's move to the slot because Omon is clearly a POS.
  22. Getting rid of Reed is stupid. He's one of the best blockers on the whole team, and that is a KEY part of being a slot WR. He's a very good slot WR, and a GREAT blocker. As much as I love Parrish, I think Reed has more value to the team on an every-down basis. I'd trade Parrish before reed.
