  1. I've got to agree with you. He won't miss all of camp, but the Bills don't have the luxury of a pass rush that can do without someone who we all hope will contribute this year. I think it is pretty essential Maybin gets in to camp within the next few days or his chances of making an early impact are pretty slim.
  2. Things run so smoothly now, I can't believe there actually used to be some server performance issues. Hats off to you SDS.
  3. Watch out, he might suck again!
  4. Yes, I will root for him because I think he's a good person.
  5. Love the avatar, btw!
  6. Seems like a nice guy. We should sign him. Great for the locker room.
  7. That would be a waste of good chicken wings.
  8. This is EXACTLY why we can't depend on rookies to improve the team in the first year. This is prescisely why I'm disappointed that so many people have high hopes for rookies, and think our team will be better. I think the team will be worse (7-9 would be a good season IMHO), and I'm not happy about it. Going into the offseason we needed serious help on o-line, d-line (end in particluar), and LB. The two positions we significantly addressed in FA were center and WR. We did precious little otherwise. The moves made this offseason weren't made with any sense of urgency about winning this year. You can't do the same thing year after year and expect to improve. Nelson may end up being a great player in a few years, but if you have to limit his exposure to the field because can't block, we're screwed. Our problems at TE continue. Christ, I bet we'll even miss Robert Royal and Lonnie Johnson. Bottom line: Potential doesn't win football games. All rookies have is potential, and can't be depended on to contribute in year one and probably not year two. Adding a center, switching a pro-bowl T for a pro-bowl WR while at the same time depending on a new batch of rookies to perform isn't a good plan to win in '09.
  9. How can you insert our 2nd string back into the slot? You'd kill the depth at RB, and it isn't like we plan on Lynch being there the whole season. Remember, Jackson is starting the 1st three games. Who would be the #2 RB those games after Rhodes? You'd need to make yet another roster move to cover Jackson's move to the slot because Omon is clearly a POS.
  10. Getting rid of Reed is stupid. He's one of the best blockers on the whole team, and that is a KEY part of being a slot WR. He's a very good slot WR, and a GREAT blocker. As much as I love Parrish, I think Reed has more value to the team on an every-down basis. I'd trade Parrish before reed.
  11. That's great. He wasn't a draft pick.
  12. No. Stupid move.
  13. Sssh, you might stop the bitching when it is just starting to get amusing.
  14. I'm not defending the FO's performance at all. I prefer to deal with facts. If you are going to make an argument, don't make a stupid one. One of the few things the FO has done well through the years is has get rookies in camp quickly. I suggest you do your own damn research before forming an opinion. Give credit where credit is due, it's part of having a valid opinion.
  15. The Bills historically have been able to get their draft picks into camp on time. The organization is KNOWN around the NFL not to have long holdouts. No need to rewrite history to fit your !@#$ed up opinion.
  16. It's the same group of people who think we should have traded Losman for a pick before we released him.
  17. Someone's being a spaz.
  18. How could we forget the Lonnie Johnson "Hooray I caught the ball - BAM" play?
  19. Brilliant post. Even if your misguided ideas were correct, which they aren't, adding vick wouldn't get us any closer to the playoffs than we are now. Either way, if morality doesn't factor in to your evaluation of success, this discussion is over. You aren't worth my time.
  20. The bills are in a bad situation, but not the worst. The worst situation would be to sign a disgusting moron like Vick. So things would only get worse by getting the disgusting retard. Idiot.
  21. Cool! I'll definitely check that out. During the day I'll be a block or two away from there.
  22. I'd spend $10 on a cab, and am willing to walk.
  23. I'm in Manhattan for a week in the financial district. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to eat? Looking for good food, not too expensive, but not diner food. Something that won't go freaky on the expense report, but somewhere I can eat well and have a nice drink or two. Assistance from any downstate Bills brothers or sisters would be helpful.
