  1. God, I hope so. I'm very optimistic about the draft, but not the season.
  2. I do feel sorry for him because I think he is a good person. I wish he had the quarterbacking skills to match. Hopefully a light will go on for him and he'll be very successful.
  3. Yeah, I heard he's cute.
  4. That's what she s.... ... nah.
  5. Um, yeah. Let's switch to the 3-4 a month before training camp. Let's rewrite 80% of the entire defensive playbook 1 month before camp. Let's forget that we've drafted, traded and went through FA with a 4-3 in mind! Brilliant! I'm not opposed to a 3-4, but making a switch right now is stupid. Why would you suggest it?
  6. Wow. Another bunch of idiots posting that we should give a guy a 10th chance, even though he's screwed us before. That's a stupid idea. HEY! Let's use a roster spot on a guy who is likely to get suspended! GREAT IDEA (for me to poop on)! Hargrove isn't trustworthy or reliable. NOTHING in his history indicates that he's worth anyone's time, and teams that sign him are left scrambling for a replacement. He's just a big bag of excuses.
  7. First off, you actually said "Oh snap." Wow. Secondly, I have nothing against smoking pot. However, I DO have something against letting it impact in ANY WAY your career, social life, health, etc. Any NFL player that smokes pot is a moron. Even the slightest chance of getting suspended is not a risk worth taking, IMO. I also think that risking criminal charges isn't worth it, but whatever. George Washington didn't smoke pot, BTW. He grew hemp that was used for rope and other useful stuff. Back then, hemp was utilized for many things. A very useful plant, however DOW chemical had a huge campaign against hemp in order to promote the use of its products.
  8. Why, because it was long?
  9. Are you kidding me? Are you really comparing our founding fathers and their need to form a new government to illegal marijuana use? Please tell me you are joking, because that would be sad - and stupid. If you can't see the difference between the two maybe you should post while not smoking.
  10. While I still maintain that anyone who sacrifices the benefits of an NFL career (or any other career for that matter) because of marijuana is a fuggin moron, here's some interesting research regarding the potential benefits of the drug vs. others: Chronic High Doses of Cannabinoids Promote Hippocampal Neurogenesis
  11. How impressive that you went to jail for smoking weed! Wow, what a thing to be proud of! So, how was it being obedient to the guards in jail? I mean, telling you when you can go inside, outside, eat, sleep, etc. That obedience must have been wonderful for such a rebel. So was smoking weed worth the jail time? Was it easy to provide for your family while in jail? Did you make good friends there? Did the experience make you a better person?
  12. Ah, one of those sites where fans get to write "articles" based on other articles they've ready. Valuable!
  13. What are you, high? That swimmer guy was suspended for pulling tubes.
  14. Right, but the law is the law. You change it by being an activist, not by disobeying it.
  15. Except for the part where they could get suspended. Don't forget about that. Smoking pot isn't worth it.
  16. The only reason I care is because it could keep them off the field. Ruining your career over something as silly and innocuous as marijuana is stupid. Seriously, is getting high worth a game check? Is it worth sacrificing $$ in FA? No. There's plenty of time to get high after you are done playing, but if you do it while in the NFL you are fuggin stupid. You are letting your fans and teammates down, and that is stupid. Disclaimer: I have nothing against smoking dope and think it is less harmful than alcohol. I just think it is a stupid thing to waste a career over.
  17. And I bet you'd be the first person to B word about it if Buffalo's two starting corners are put on IR and DJ didn't have a backup plan to fill out the roster. Some people are so negative / short-sided it is hilarious.
  18. It doesn't make sense? Did Clark really write that? It makes perfect sense! JP is a great citizen, just not a great pro QB. Maybe a league with lesser talent would be good for him.
  19. That just doesn't make sense. You don't regionalize by moving camp back to Buffalo.
  20. My personal opinion is that it won't move. There's too much invested, too much involved in the marketing of a regional bills team that they would need to start over with. Not only that, Russ Brandon went to Fisher and is an active alumni. I actually graduated the same year as him, I think, but didn't really know him. Ralph Wilson also has some investment in Fisher, so I'm not sure he would want to move either. There's no way it would move back to Buffalo. It wouldn't make sense.
  21. Well crap, maybe if he screamed more on the sideline we would have won more games!
  22. So following that logic, getting rid of coaches every 2-3 years will keep us in the same spot we are.
  23. I feel stupid for responding to this crazy talk, but I just have to ask. Are you one of those mouth-breathers who think that screaming on the sidelines is a sign of good coaching?
  24. Agreed, we should rename the offseason "Grammar Season". Seriously, you could spend all offseason correcting people's grammar. It is amazing the number of people who can't demonstrate an 8th grade understanding of the english language. Grammar season sucks.
