This is why this offseason was a failure for the defense. The Bills front office did nothing to improve the pass rush. Great, they got a rookie. Rookies rarely make a significant impact. They needed to get a few good FA DEs to fix themselves up good, but they did nothing. They didn't account for Schoebel's age or Kelsay / Denney's mediocrity. And need I mention our OLB situation? It is going to be a long season, fellas.

Some people's preseason reactions and "ideas" are almost unbearable. I don't think it would be a good idea to sit your starting QB when he needs the experience against a 3-4 defense. That would be stupid.

I agree with you 100%. But the Bills did look bad, but for pete's sake it is only a preseason game. People are spastic.

The ONLY way I would want Roscoe to be traded is if he is traded for another player that could help this year. The Bills need every advantage they can get, and a draft pick doesn't help them now. Roscoe straight up for a starting OLB instead of ellison? Make the trade, Russ!

I guess you can only interpret attitudes from other players & coaches, and that isn't exactly great reporting. I wonder if the players' attitudes are slowly starting to change - didn't Mitchell comment that Maybin needs to be here or something of the sort?

Relax! I only called him an effing puke, with a little useless thrown in. :-) It could have been worse. I understand how you could take issue with the effing puke comment, but it is hard to argue with his lack of usefulness at the moment and how it will likely translate into lowered usefulness during the season. I also think my comments about the front office are difficult to argue against. It is only a message board, and I'll be the first to cheer & be remorseful if I'm wrong. I hope I am.

Maybin is a useless effing puke. Screw him and his agent too. Not only that, screw the front office who expected to improve our pressure off the end with a rookie. That plan is now screwed.
