That's the truth. I really, really wish DJ was successful because I like his management style (treating others with respect, not airing dirty laundry in public, not boisterous like a buffoon, etc.). However, whatever combination of front office / coach / personnel strategy that buffalo has going on doesn't work at all. The Bills suck, and DJ is part of the sucky equation. I think watching Fitz play illustrates how much trent has regressed. When Fitz completed a few passes, I was reminded that some quarterbacks actually throw the ball before the WR finishes their route. Some quarterbacks anticipate a player being open before he's standing and waving his hands wide open. Some qBs hit a receiver in stride. Yep.

If Ralph hires a new coach and GM now, the benefit is the GM is in before the trade deadline. He could potentially start building his team for next year RIGHT NOW and not wait for the offseason.

ON some teams they are players that can play the role of firestarter. Takeo Spikes, Ray Lewis, Darryl Talley, Thurman Thomas to name a few. On a team where a coach isn't firey (like Dungy), a player like Manning can do it. ON the Bills, I can't think of a single player that would get in the face of somebody and tell them to step it the !@#$ up.

It isn't that they got rid of peters. I have no problem with that. It is that they replaced him with Walker, and then a week before the season decided that wouldn't work. Getting rid of a player is fine. Patriots do it all the time. The problem is who you replace him with, and the Bills clearly screwed the pooch on that one.
