  1. On Saturday, Charley Casserly of CBS reported that former Bucs and Colts coach Tony Dungy would have hired Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier to coach the Seahawks, if Dungy had accepted Seattle's offer to become president of the team. On Sunday, Jay Glazer of FOX reported that Frazier was telling Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke during last weekend's interview that Frazier could get Dungy to come with him to Seattle. In the end, Dungy opted not to join the Seahawks and the Seahawks opted not to hire Frazier. Moving forward, however, it makes sense to keep a close eye on the possibility for a Dungy-Frazier team in some other NFL city.
  2. Told Seattle he would bring TOny Dungy with him to be team president. Ummmm if he said this to Buddy I would have made him the HC that minute. Could that be the case? If so why are we even interviewing anyone else? Frazier and Dungy??? That isn't even something Buddy would have to think about. Unless Dungy wouldn't come with to Buffalo. But WOW! Talk about turning around a franchise and making a commitment to winning. I hope there is really something to this if he were to come to Buffalo. Maybe there is a reason the interview went so great and he was the supposed "leader". http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ed-bring-dungy/
  3. A proven offensive mind with a Super BOwl ring who has expressed an interest in the job. HE was a few back assembling a staff correct? I do not understand why we have not at least brought him in for an interview!! His name was right there with Cowher and now don't hear anything at all! I guess I do not understand, BUddy wants a coach WITH head coaching expierience and an offensive mind. He has both oh and did I mention a super bowl ring. What I like the most the attitude that we need to have here in BUffalo.
  4. Can someone please tell me why he is not at the top of our list? Off the Steelers coaching tree! Is currently the offensive line coach and assistant head coach in Arizona. Was suppose to be the successor to Cowher, but Tomlin got the gig.... He will give our team an idenity and has been in the league and could bring in some good talented assistants that know what is going on! Charlie Weis vs Russ Grimm??? Come one is that even a debate. Grimm would be right toward the top of my list next to Shanahan, Cowher and Billick. I think we need to realize that NONE of the big names are coming here! Let's get someone that has turned a team around (arizona) along with Whisenhunt obviously but they DID it!!!!!!!! Arizona was a JOKE!!! And always has been up until last year. Buffalo has the fan base already and HAS a history.
  5. This is the ugliest Buffalo Bills football game that I can remember! I thought last week was bad! 3 points against arguably the WORST team in the NFL. Our QB is afraid to throw the ball more than 10 yards. Jauron should be let back into the locker room after this game! If he keeps his job until next week I will be beyond shocked. Easily is the worst bak to back game performance that I have ever seen.
  6. Kabeer Baja Biamila KGB.... Has to many injuries. Is about the same player as Schobel is. He is a HUGE liability against the run. Would be a great situatuional pass rusher!
  7. That missed FG may be the break we needed. Now lets tie this game before half.
  8. LB and DE first two picks in the draft. Or through Free Agency. We have no attitude/idenity on defense. We get pushed around and always look on out heels!
  9. We are going to get passed on the rest of the season because everyone knows we have no pash rush. Whatever two DEwe put out there forget it. They are worthless.
  10. Below is how Gonzalez would fit into the payroll. Seems very reasonable. If after a year or two he doesn't pan out we can cut him. It is hard to find playmaking tight ends. What is one of our biggest glaring needs a big tight end to stretch the field and be a fall back option for Trent. I would give up a fifth and seventh. That would trump the Giants sixth round offer. This would be HUGE upgrade on this team guys. He ahd 99 catches last year!!! That's second most ever in a season for him. I would get very excited if we are in talks. I'm sure Kawika knows how great a person/teammate he is from his time in KC with him. Get it done Russ. 1/12/2006: Signed a five-year, $35 million contract. The deal includes $17.75 million in guarantees. 2008: $1 million 2009: $4 million 2010: $4.5 million 2011: $5.75 million 2012: Free Agent
  11. I agree 100%. I would be happy with DRC, Mckelvin, Jenkins or Harvey in the 1st and in the second getting Jordy Nelson.
  12. Kansas State WR Jordy Nelson ran unofficial forty times of 4.49 and 4.51 at the NFL Combine. Nelson was ultra productive at K-State, hauling in 122 passes for 1,606 yards and 11 scores in his senior season alone. Nelson also caught 10 passes for 137 yards and a score against Kansas CB Aqib Talib, a possible first-round pick, last October. He's 6'3/217, so these times are fantastic. 6-3 217 WR Jordy Nelson, Kansas State Came into the season with little fanfare and repeatedly arose to the occasion vs. better competition. Size, smarts and quickness could make him difficult to contain. The more and more I read about him I am hoping based upon how round 1 works out where we take Harvey or DRC, Jenkins, Mckelvin or if we trade back. I think we could draft Nelson and he could be a number 2 receiver. I have seen film and saw him against Talib. He comes to play ball. Reminds me of a Donald Driver or Isaac Bruce type player. Not blessed with all the physical attributs but straps it up and plays.
  13. http://www.prodraftguide.net/03mockdraft.html 11.Buffalo Bills - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Tennessee State) From what we have heard, Rodgers-Cromartie is the top dog on Buffalo’s board. They get the man that they want. take it for what it is worth, but viewing a few more mock drafts this morning and I see DRC on man yof them all of a sudden. THis guy is extremely athletic. He had a amazing workout. 6-2 184 and runs a 4.33 40.... Compared to Mcelvin 5-10 190 4.38 Jenkins 5-10 197 4.38 I think we may have someon to match right up with Mr. Moss. I love the pick just as long as we can somehow get one of the BIG receivers: Thomas- Hardy- Sweed- Kelly- Nelson
  14. Fred Davis is faster than Kelly!!! Davis ran a 4.68 and 4.69 Kelly 4.75 and 4.68 Let's just forget Kelly. We take Harvey at #11 and take a WR in round 2. There will be one or two and if Kelly is there we take him! How would that look..... Harvey and Kelly!!!!!
  15. We have had some good additions in free agency. A splended job by our front office. Now we have the #11 pick and all of a sudden we are projected all over the map. Reason being there is no WR worthy of a top 15 pick. So do we trade down in the first and get another 2nd rounder? My pick is to trade down and get a late first rounder with then having two second rounders. WR List Thomas Sweed Kelly Hardy I would think at least one would be avaliable in a trade down. Now what if we stay at #11? I think we have to go with the best player avaliable. We have to take a serious look at these guys if avaliable. DT- Sedrick Ellis, Glenn Dorsey (will both probably be gone but no one ver knows) DE- Derrick Harvey CB- Cromartie, Talib, Mcelvin I just hope Modrak has an in on who is tops on thier board and don't reach for a need like they did with Whitner. I like him but to this day he was never worthy of that high of a pick.
