  1. Sanchez looks very good. The Jets' defense looks strong. I'm not sure the Bills did enough this offseason to compete. I hope I'm wrong.
  2. A sales guy from the Bills kept asking me about season tickets this year because I had inquired in the past. I finally told him that I thought that the Bills did precious little to improve the team in the offseason, and I couldn't support a team that had again committed itself to another losing season. This was before camp.
  3. Is the irony of your nickname lost on you?
  4. I'm not against releasing Walker, but what kind of front office and coach changes your starting left tackle less than a week before the season starts? Holy crap, this team is a horrible mess. Yes, get the best players on the field, but GOOD LORD WHY WAIT UNTIL NOW? Clearly this team has no hope of winning this season and is acting like it. I'm sick of this dysfunction.
  5. Yes, he got plenty of carries during preseason. I see this as a goal line and emergency type thing. I think attacking a 3-4 defense with a big FB running the ball is a good idea.
  6. Nah, he probably only works at Tops.
  7. Wow. You're quite the nice fella, aren't you? Grow up.
  8. I can't find a link online, but this is from the NFL preview Sports Illustrated on page 36. Peyton is interviewed by Dan Patrick: So it seems as if Jauron is of the same school regarding the no-huddle as the Colts and the 90's Bills. Shonert apparently disagreed with that, and wanted a complex offense with lots of formations. Just some food for thought regarding Schonert bitching about being forced to simplify things.
  9. This is really clear, and I think DJ was correct in firing Turk if he made the offense too complex for the no-huddle. You can't run the no-huddle with a million formations, and a boatload of motion and get everyone in line, especially with defenses having the radio in their helmet. Makes perfect sense, and if Shonert couldn't see that he is the one that is retarded.
  10. The Bills just gave up on their season. DJ and Brandon couldn't figure out this move 4 months ago?
  11. The real question is "How drunk will you be if the Bills beat the Cheatriots in the home opener?" Very drunk & happy.
  12. The meltdown in this thread over the last preseason game is stupid. Get a grip, everyone. And some perspective.
  13. The way people B word about the bills here, maybe it is for the better.
  14. And at the same time, people are complaining that Trent doesn't take enough chances and let the WRs make a play for the ball.
  15. Ralph Wilson IS the Buffalo Bills. If you hate him that much, I suggest you find another team to root for.
  16. Yes, my bad. Thanks for the correction.
  17. Hmmmm. Williams had 7 sacks in 2006 and 2007 for Green Bay. He's a bit big for the Bills' style of DE, so would probably play DT? Better than McCargo, I bet.
  18. Can you bet the under 11? That might help more. :-)
  19. Pretty clear the Bills can't compete against a SB team. Along with all the other obvious problems that are discussed in other threads, I still think we're suffering from our drafts under Donahoe. You can't waste 4 1st round draft picks in the past 8 years and expect to win. Donahoe wasted the following: 1. 1st rounder on Bledsoe 2. 1st rounder on JP 3. 1st rounder on McGahee 4. 1st rounder on Williams. Compare that to the Steelers, and you see the difference. 1. Ben R 2. Simmons 3. Polamalu 4. Holmes 5. Timmons No comparison. Add Donahoe's clusterf&ck to Brandon's inability to pull his head from his ass, and you have a recipe for disaster. And we are witnessing that disaster.
  20. Seriously, is there a bigger prick than Bellycheat? Reporter: "So why did Brady walk off the field with a doctor?" Asswipe: "He didn't play in the second half." What a smug sob.
  21. Then I guess I'm not talking about you.
  22. If people wonder why we're in the sh-- hole we're in now, look only as far as Donahoe's drafts. He wasted so many picks that it takes YEARS to recover. Players taken in the 1st round of Donahoe's drafts should be studs in their prime football playing years right now, and should be helping the team get to the playoffs. At least 2 of those picks are out of the NFL, and 1 is now benched (McGahee). Throw in the Drew Bledsoe trade, and that is four first round picks that were wasted on players no longer in the NFL. Horrible.
  23. You punched a hole in your wall over a draft pick? Dude - it's only football. Sheesh.
  24. Helping the Bills run defense ranking jump 10 spots or so is pretty nifty.
  25. Marshawn Lynch Fred Jackson Trent Edwards (3rd round QB pick, entering only 3rd year) McKelvin Stevie Jackson Poz Marcus Stroud Kyle Williams I understand what you are saying, but all the above players are contributing pretty well when draft position is taken into consideration.
