They interviewed Fewell yesterday. And interview essentially takes all day. So they fired everyone on Monday, then interviewed on Tuesday. Sounds pretty expedient to me. You need to relax. The Bills hired a new GM before the season ended. That search could have taken a month, but it didn't. Things ARE moving quickly, its just that in our world of ADHD people expect stuff to happen immediately.

Get your facts straight. The Bills didn't fire all the coaches. They gave them permission to seek other positions. Big, big difference. In order to hire any of them, Buffalo would need to approve the hire if it is a lateral move (same job description and title). Any team wanting to hire someone away without Buffalo's permission would need to offer the coach a better position. For example, Bobby April is something like "Assistant Head Coach, Special Teams". Someone who wants to hire him would need to get permission from Buffalo to hire him as the same or lesser title, OR they would need to give him a better title, like "Chief Sycophant Assistant Head Coach, Extra Special Teams." So people should stop pooping themselves.

Exactly. If you've read the book Next Man Up which is about the Ravens, Billick is clearly an asswipe who is over his head. Here's a guy who is supposedly an offensive genius, but consistently fielded one of the worst offenses in the NFL. He was lucky they had Stover as his kicker and an all-world defense.

If we transition from a 4-3 to a 3-4, we should expect a total overhaul of our defensive personnel. We're quite a bit further away from running a 3-4 than we are a 4-3. Frankly, I'm tired of waiting to win, and finding a 3-4 nose tackle will take a long, long time, not to mention building depth at the positions.

I work with a guy who is a big Miami fan. He listens to WGR because he likes to laugh at what an buffoon Schopp is. He can't believe some of the silly stuff these guys go off on, and how constantly negative they are. The only reason I listen to WGR is to find out who advertises on their station so I can make sure not to patronize them.

Wow, we've got lots of guards but no tackles. That's a problem. It is easier to move a tackle inside to play guard than moving a guard to the outside. I remember hearing Bill Bellecheck say he wasn't worried about depth at tackle because all of their guards were actually tackles playing guard. It is an interesting point. Don't draft guards, draft tackles.
